There's nothing strange about These months.
It's simple logic and common sense.
First of all there's no month we don't hear about tragic events like accidents and kidnapping.
During these months, there are lots of movements to and fro, due to or in preparation of the festive period. So it's not rocket science when cases of accidents are high in these times, especially when our roads are nothing to write home about....once it's getting close to the festive period, people tend to be more eager to make money so as to celebrate/flex in December.
So it's not as if there's some imaginary spirit that's always out to cause havoc on people during these so called 'ember months'.

Increase in road accidents in Ember months is due to more vehicles plying our already bad and congested road.

Many car owners that have not travelled long distance tend to travel that time and the consequences is accidents.

Commercial drivers also hurry to do round trip because of increased number of travellers. They deprive themselves of adequate sleep. The consequence is accident.
