Very nonsensical and mischievous headline and report. The press release by the hospital was clear. Don't twist it. If you are looking for your love ones you can check their mortuary because they have a backlog of unclaimed corpses even before and after #ENDSARS. And that if you are coming bring particulars to show to show that 1.That your love one is missing 2. Then you will be allowed to view the corpses in the mortuary 3. If you see a corpses that you think is your love one show that you are related. BELOW IS THE PRESS RELEASE BY LASG A FEW WEEKS BACK: “This is to notify the General Public that the Chief Coroner of Lagos State, Hon Justice M. A. Dada (Mrs.) pursuant to Section 15, Coroner’s System Law of Lagos State, 2015 the Pathology Team would want all those who have lost loved ones between 19th – 27th October 2020 (that is, next-of-kin of the victims) to provide relevant information that would assist the identification exercise. “The next-of kin should kindly contact the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja for the identification exercise of the Deceased. “The next-of-kin will be required to provide means of identification of themselves and their loved ones. “Only the parents, siblings or children, in that decreasing order of preference are expected to come to LASUTH. “These next-of-kin shall be required to come with clear photographs of the missing person and their own upper body photographs; and also provide samples for Reference DNA Profile, where necessary. “This profile will be compared with those already collected at autopsy from the deceased. “It is only after a definitive scientific identification that the bodies of the deceased shall be released by the Office of the Chief Coroner to the next-of-kin for burial.” |

Ababbio: I thought the gullible APC supporters were saying nobody died ? And the military earlier denied that they didn't kill anyone . Everything is coming out gradually. And to those foolish ones who are busy supporting this evil government, because none of your family died, it will soon get to your household 1 Like |

I don't think all these stories will amount to much. If there are corpses with gunshot wounds I don't think they will be available as evidence of any government misdeeds. They will either have been buried or cremated long ago. What should happen and what happens in other climes is investigative journalism. First to determine WHO DID WHAT and then extract information from them directly or their friends, families or associates to build a picture through and through about what happened. Someone out there has a bit part information, when puzzled together will make for clarity as to the events and dispel any untruths or half truths. No matter how tightly the government wants to control the flow of information it is impossible to contain everyone directly or indirectly involved particularly non government actors or indirect participants. All these 'he said', 'she did', 'I've seen' will get no where and is murky and disputable at best. The information is out there and all it takes is hardworking, dogged and clandestine journalism to put these things to bed once and for all. 3 Likes |

Government need to recruit more keyboard warriors. Hel_anus (Aka Yenefer) with 50 nairaland accounts and others are being over powered by the masses. Am not a tribalist but when you see northerners supporting evil all in the name of brotherhood, it goes to tell you that Nigeria is better off without the north. Most Igbos have similar habit. but their own is better as they will rather deny the evil person when his evil is rasing too many red flags and claim he/she is not a real Igbo ("Igbo can not do bad mentality" ). 1 Like |

primestreams: Of course, a lot of people were killed. Protesters, rioters and looters, and even policemen were killed across various parts of the country. What the government is disputing is the claim that soldiers killed people at the Lekki toll gate. 1 Like |
