That verse has absolutely nothing to do with your assertion in your last post and it stands contrary to your declaration in your OP.

I don't believe" Prayer is the key" as I already stated in my first response. According to Jesus Christ who is the New Covenant between God and man, obedience of the commandments is the one and only key to any and every thing promised.

God already gave us wisdom to understand His word...He did that when He picked ordinary Fishermen to carry His Gospel to the world, which they did. These men had no previous formal training in the things of God and instead yearned for God to reach them where they were which is what He did when He showed up asking them to follow Him as He taught them as one would teach children, the truth of God.

Unfortunately, rather than accepting the gospel as presented, so many more refuse the words of Christ to instead follow after the wisdom of other men, men who claim to come in the name of God but with doctrines and traditions that are not of God.

You don't obey Jesus Christ, do you? undecided
How can you boast of having wisdom when Jesus Christ told you that He and He alone is all the wisdom anyone who is His follower will ever need for He is the only Teacher to all His followers.

@Youngchopper, did you know that even with all of that wisdom which God gave Him, it did not stop Solomon from ending up as an idol worshipper in the end? Yes, Solomon, became an idol worshipper, and built shrines to other gods - he remained unrepentant till the end. What does that say of all man's wisdom? It does not compare in any way to the wisdom that is God.

point of correction I'm a born again Christian I'm only correcting where Africa magic Christian's got it wrong.
Africans love to worship God but their problem is that they want God to answer all their prayers like in the days of the Israelites in Egypt but they don't understand that God was doing all this for the Israelites for a reason
what's the reason? because they are his choosen generation. he loved them to a fault that he always dance to their tone
but I bet you God must have learnt his lessons too. chia God even went out of his way to send manner for them while they were in the desert.
now comes to where Africa missed it . we felt that if bread can fall from heaven for the sake of the Israelites who were in the desert for a journey autoued by God himself that they too are qualified for same bread without putting work ist
lol

they lessen Jehovah learnt
people don't value what they did not suffer to get
up untill today the current people of isrea don't appreciate their origin never
God will not go out of his way again to answer any yeye prayer that you can't back up with faith

what does that tells you?
God is been careful to whoom he gifts wisdom.
it's one of the 7 gifts of the holy Spirit and it's the best of the gift . every man that walk on the surface of this planet have a gift. when u discover what gift you posses ,its written in the Bible that the gift of man maket way for him and also gives him privilege to dine with kings.

Oh, yes, wisdom is indeed a gift and like every other gift, it is up to the reciever to decide what value that "gift" will have in his existence. Reading from the book of Proverbs does not make anyone a wise man... some of the proverbs recorded there are lacking if you were honest with yourself. So long as it was written by a man, it is the wisdom of man and must be vetted against the Word out of God's mouth which is not quoted in the book of Proverbs.

I don't need a gift to determine anything in my life. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and He decides what gifts to give and when.

What servant of God? In Jesus Christ, we are all Servants of God, none greater than the other as far as His kingdom is concerned. Everyone expected to learn from one and only one Teacher, Jesus Christ, and none other. So whatever you choose to do with your life with God, is all you.
Please take time to read through the gospels so you can better understand the place and life of one who belongs to Jesus Christ and is lead by His Spirit.

There are hundreds of instances of Prayer in the Bible.

Mark 9:28-29 KJV - To cast out demons, Jesus said its by Prayer, and fasting.

Isaiah 38:1-2,5 KJV - To recover from sickness and live longer, Hezekiah used prayer.

Genesis 20:17-18 - To heal Abimelek and his household from barrenness, Abraham used prayer.

Numbers 11:1-2 - Moses prayed and the fire of the Lord which was consuming the people was quenched.

1 Samuel 1:10,12,17 - Hannah prayed, and God gave her a child.

1 Samuel 12:23 - Samuel would not sin against God by not praying.

Matthew 14:23, 26:36,39 - Jesus went apart to pray

Matthew 14:41- If you don't want to fall into temptation, pray.

Luke 1:13 - Zacharias prayed and his wife conceived and had a son.

Luke 2:37 - The old prophetess, Anna, served God with prayer and fasting.

Luke 11:1 - Prayer was necessary, Jesus didn't turn down His disciples' request to teach them to pray.

Acts 1:24-27 - The Apostles prayed, and God helped them (answer to their prayer) to choose someone to replace Judas as a Apostle.

Acts 8:15 - The Apostles prayed for new converts, and they received the Holy ghost.

Acts 9:40 - Peter raised Tabitha, a dead girl by prayer.

Acts 12:5-12 - Prayer was used to set Peter free from prison.

Philippians 4:6
[6]Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. -
In everything

I had to stop typing, Prayer instances are very much in the Bible. In most of Paul's letters, he always tell the recipients that he cease not to pray for them - Romans 1:9, 1Corinthians 1:4, Ephesians 1:16, Philippians 1:4, Colossians 1:3...etc. Too many.
Jesus would always leave His disciples to go and pray - Luke 22:45, Mark 14:39, Matthew 26:44, John 17:15

May God help us.

You guys are on the same page, you just seem not to agree with each other’s point of view. I'll suggest that using the scriptures to back up every of your points will make it much more better and easier to understand that you're not talking from what you think/feel but from what the Word of God had said. Amos 3:3 KJV
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Use what you both have in common, the Bible, and you'll discover that you can agree.

Jesus is Lord. We win.

But we are not on the same page at all, and we do not have the Bible in common at all. We are meant to have Jesus Christ(The truth in common) but so far, that is yet to be seen.

Now I don't know how to reply to you anymore.
However, I have questions for you.
How do you evangelise to people? And, how do you teach the Gospel to those who had been getting it wrong before now?

I don't do anything. I only respond as I am prompted to respond and when I am not prompted to respond, I don't.

You're saying you don't evangelise?
How about what I told you in another thread about using the scriptures to teach your points. You talked about being a believer and follower Jesus Christ. Then I expect you to know that Jesus always teaches His points to anyone who questions Him from the scriptures. In Matthew 15:3,4; He was quoting from Exodus 20:12. Also in Matthew 22:37, Jesus was quoting Deuteronomy 6:5.
Now, where are your responses from? Is it from your head (as in you just imagine what is right and wrong without consulting anything)?
How do you come to know about Christ and the truth about Him? (without reading). Or you're one of those lucky ones who God appears to and show everything that needs to be known?
Can you be less defensive/offensive and share your knowledge of the Word of God instead of tackling people, please?! The Jesus I know, whom you claim to also know doesn't talk to people the way you are doing, unless there's something I don't know which I would very much appreciate that you share!

Jesus is Lord. We win.

Re: Prayer Is Not The Key by youngchopper(m): 6:05am On Nov 24, 2020
if prayer is not the master key.
what then is the master key to God's heart?
the word of God is the master key.
God said in the book of 1samuel 15:22
that obedience is better than sacrifiece
how can you obey without knowing the word of God?
Prayer is good it's the only means to God
but without knowing the word of God your prayers is a wasted effort.
I know the topic is strange but it's the bitter truth.
and a misconception that we need to drop.
Jesus even thought is deciples how to pray. he did not tell them that prayer is the key. all the time Jesus was preaching the gospel of his father he was trying his best to make man the dooer of the word. if you like become a prayer worrior without been a dooer of the word you will still be walowing in abeject ignorance
