Member of UK parliament, Lyn Brown has called for sanctions against those involved in the shooting incident during the EndSARS protest in Lekki on October 20.

Speaking during a debate in the house on Monday November 23, Lyn stated that the least they can do is to make sure that those who have "murdered" Nigerians and deprived them of their human rights are not able to benefit from trade or travel to the UK.

She added that these include government officials and the Nigerian army who are stopping a "transparent investigation and effecting of justice." The lawmaker also averred that it was unfortunate that the Federal Government went ahead to not only accuse protesters of sponsoring terrorism and freeze their accounts, but also blamed them for the increase in food prices.

Nice one ...all perpetrators of bad leadership should feel the heat ....your own future citizens came out enmass to complain of many years decadence in an arm of the Police force and you had the temerity to unleash brutality on them in all the places they protested against same brutality !!!!

That's good if the government carries out the UK assembly motion.
Targetted sanctions at murderous members of the government and their families not only serves the purpose of punishment but spares the innocent general population the suffering that comes with countrywide economic sanctions.
My only grouse is that this kind of sanction has more teeth if it's championed by the U.S,because of the kinds of influence and muscle it will exert on other western and even non western countries.

Good one it's obvious to all that they are responsible for the Artificial hike in food prices.
Imagine tomato of 50 naira now selling for 120naira.

These people are hell bent on impoverishing we the Masses.

This people should stop this plenty talks already and announce the band on all Nigerian politicians and their families,send their children back to Nigeria then send all Nigerians all over the world so that the war will start.

The reason why Nigeria is yet to experience the kind of revolution that has never happened before is because, is because escaping from the country for greener pastures in other countries is an option.

If Nigerians can't escape, we will have no choice than to fight back and make all our leaders dead and alive vomit every thing they have embezzled over the years...

But truth is,..if corruption stops in Africa,many European countries economy will suffer...that is why they keep talking but won't announce the ban and stand by it..
