I understand you perfectly. Only trying to make you understand that the fact it was called "survival fund" doesn't mean NIgerians are beggars. Besides the "survival" ish was because of the period of the pandemic when people had little or nothing to survive on as a result of the lockdown and post pandemic. If they had said "alms" then it would have suggested begging.

I get you, I only went by the OP original post he didn't say it was for pandemic, even FG support for the pandemic was called "palliative". There are many types of FG grant, this one was called a "survival fund" according to the post. One can read meaning to this especially after how we saw how the government hoarded the citizens paliatives. And if they really want to distribute funds they know better ways to go about this where it will reach everyone. "Welfare grant" sounds better than "Survival Grant" as we are not in a refugee camp. After all the lockdown has ended.
