Merit list is ready
Un-merit list is dragging merit list from coming out, because un-merit list is more powerful.

SSC screening coming up in KD has been a bone of contention among the organizers, due to the fear of insecurities around Kaduna n the safety of the candidates coming down to the venue (bandits n kidnappers).

Army is also scared of your convoy not to be attacked while going for medical, if it would be Kaduna why not on new site?

Shout in the air, blame the government and the officials for not being fare in the process, then patiently wait in the corner with 2by2 for all those guys that will be saying it was based on merit, or I got it without knowing anybody

As long as we all wanna get information concerning the exercise posting false or unsubstantiated information is wrong and implicative.
How can Army be scared of candidates going fir medicals (Convoy) being attacked when the distance from the screening ground to the medical facilities is about 4-5km In a very busy route within the Kawo area. Kaduna metropolis and adjoining areas are as safe as any other state the areas facing security challenges are the fringes of the state which is Abuja to Kaduna road, Birnin Gwari area/Airport Road & they are no where near the venue (Ribadu or Afaka). It is the same army that conducted screening exercise for over
2800+ RC Candidates few months back seamlessly talkmore of SSC. This your theory no follow abeg you're just guessing and making it seem as if you're getting it from a "Sauce".

For Anyone that has been following the recent News update in the Country, I'm sure It's no more Unknown that the Abuja-Kaduna Express Road is One of the most fearsome path to thread due to Banditry and Kidnapping Activities going on Almost daily... Though I Learnt security operatives have been Deployed, but it's like These Bad guys kinda work with some More Deadly Weapons and All that...

That Apart....

Let's now even come down to The Alternative Use of Train from Abuja to Kaduna... There are Reports that Even to get the Ticket sef Nah Serious Tussle coz of high number of Intending Passengers + these recent reports of The Train Developing Serious fault during the course of the Journey itself... Though I learnt the Abuja-Kaduna road Is safe Anytime before 4PM, it still doesn't cancel out the fact that Its a Dangerous route to Pass...

I think this Idea of Screening in KADUNA is a very risky one and I really hope the Nigerian Army Authorities can help we the Applicants to Achieve a Soft Landing, thus Keeping everybody Safe and Fine against Training Resumption...

Well, these are my Suggestions sha..
(1) Let the Screening be Coordinated Zonally such that Each Geopolitical Zone Can do theirs Independently and Send the Final result to the ADHQ for Final compilation of the Training Shortlist... And while at this, In order to cost down Cost on the Nigerian Army Part, It should be Made known that Feeding will be Exclusively at the Expense of Applicants throughout the course of stay for the Screening... I don't Really expect this to be much of an Issue since RRI guys do undergo Similar Screening Routine, Nah Only Training Resumption dey carry dem go Depot.. Nah their Respective State of Origin Origin dey even take Scereen them sef

(2) And for the Training Resumption, Let their be a Convoy that will Lead applicants from Designated Pickup points Across the Geopolitical Zones down to Kaduna Coz it's really going to Paint Our father's Army in a Negative Light if Bandits should Kidnap Applicants while on their Way to Training... Just Imagine how that Headline go be for News

I doubt if they will change the venue this year, if not memo would have being dispatched to the barracks that will host it for onward preparation. If they didn't change the venue for RC despite same security situation I'm still in doubt if same will be done now. It's only for DSSC that they do occasionally change venue as it pleases them RC/SSC has always being in Kaduna.
The idea of zonal screening is even out of the the equation because it's gonna be a logistics nightmare and even cost the authorities more. Zonal screening is only done for Non commissioned cadre (based on say na mass production)

But Oga Sir, what about the phenomenon of COST-BENEFIT AND COMPROMISE ANALYSIS (CBCA)... This in summary has to do with Adjusting Ur plans and schedule after a careful and thorough consideration of All Possible Factors that might hinder a Task to be Carried out or A Decision about to be Taken...

I want to blv Everyone will quite Understand if they decide to follow the RRI guys Screening method for this Year's SSC/DSSC parole... Its All about Trying to Minimize Risk in my Opinion Sha

All these Cost benefits kini! na English grin . They will just issue order which you have to follow how you get there is your business. If RC cadets who are the apple of the Armed forces eyes undergo the risk associated with traveling e come be Colitos? What I know is that once you're a cadet/officer whenever you guys are going for bush exercises or camps within/outside the state escorts will go with you guys but making provisions for individual candidates to report to a screening venue solely lies on the said candidate. All you said is the ideal in a Civil setting, fortunately/unfortunately the military is a different ball game.

Waoooh I guess you've wanted this job for a long time, you should understand security First in everything,. Even as secured America is they still work on their security everyday....why did u think transporting over 100ppl around a place even for just 5min in a state battling with insecurities is not an issue?

It's so fine the organizers in charge are considering all of this, it shows they really understand their job

You probably live in Kaduna, and you probably won't have problem going to the screening venue.

Your comment is quite insensitive to people who would have to travel down to Kaduna. The recent news of kidnapping and banditry is no joke, couple with the fact that the screening would be in December. So people should be scared.
So for you, they should NOT come for screening to better your own chances?
What if you don't even make the shortlist? Ever thought of that?

Bro no need explaining further, what you stated earlier in regards the organizers contemplating about the location for SSC is very much correct. Heard the same thing during the week from an officer who works in the MS office all though they never arrived at a conclusion. The fact that some of us here live in kaduna and feel that it's safe doesn't make it applicable for everyone.

Sadly your opinions on where the screening will hold would not be taken into account.. it’ll hold in ribadu and if you can make it there it’s good. They have not discussed any change of venues.. the same way regulars used it is the same way we will. If you are scared to travel, it’s best you just stay safe and stay at home. People that would report would report irrespective.
