My girlfriend is very good in sawing and she has always wanted to have a shop of her own where she can expand. She is still in school and supports her studies from the little sawing she does at home, the truth is she's very hard-working.

Should i take a risk and open a shop for her. I work and i earn 40k a month i can easily save up to 60k from now till January but am scared, I don't want to take a risk i will later regret in life.

Pls has any body faced this kind of situation before or heard of it and how was the outcome?

Invest in her as in helping a friend or someone that you wanted to assist and not investing in her with expectation of something in return, that will prevent heartbreak just in case, but it is time we learn how to assist without something back in return

Don't ever invest on any lady that you ain't married to, especially as a struggling man.

I won't say you should invest and I won't still say you shouldn't invest because this life itself is a risk

But this situation you presented before me, I'll take it in a gambling perspective....do not invest what you can't afford to lose

Moral of my write-up.... don't break the bank to satisfy a woman (no matter the amount of love she'd shown you, human beings are unpredictable... including you and I) CHANGE is constant

Look before u leap
If you're capable enough...fine, invest in her
If not... don't put urself in debt or risk just to satisfy her

A word is enough for the.......

You are broke and struggling, and instead of investing in your life by buying powerful business/entrepreneurship ebooks, videos, tapes, etc to inspire you to achieve more, you are there planning to mortgage your meagre income to please a girlfriend, honestly to send you to Boko Haram region is hungering me angry angry

You seem to have a good heart. However for the sake of your relationship, (her not being pressured and you not entitled). Caution is essential.

I guess the shop is worth 60k per annum from your post. You may support her with a token, I suggest a maximum of 10k if it's obvious she needs the extra help.

BTW, a monthly income of 40k may look okay for you now but you should start thinking of long term. What are you doing to be better Financially? What plans for the future do you have? Your 40k monthly big properly harnessed will help your future.

Again, supporting is nice. That should be it. Don't die for the world. Jesus already

Go ahead and invest in her. Be confident as a guy but just take it as if you are helping her destiny... She will never forget you even if she leaves you.

It isn't a lot of money to make him regret. I'm certain he has spent close to that amount or more into the relationship already and if they were to break up, it would be painful.
But the 60k won't be enough to cause him a break down
It would bro, I’ll give you the logic.

One he’s seeing it as an investment not a voluntary spending like that, meaning he expects something from it, loyalty/marriage. How do you feel when you invest in a venture and it doesn’t turn out as expected?

Secondly, he’s going to save up to raise it, hence he’s gonna sacrifice and deprive himself somethings, he’s sacrificing to invest in that relationship and his emotions whether he likes it or not will be tied to it and there lies a potential heartbreak victim.

I’m not saying he shouldn’t spend on the babe, but going to that extent to spend a babe and tag it investment makes him vulnerable trust me.

I spend on my babe like spending on alcohol or entertainment, I expect no loyalty in return and I do it at my convenience.

Everything in life is a risk.

If you don't take it, you'll never know.

Personally, I don't generalise things. If you can, do it. But don't bank on your deeds.

If it comes back to meet you for good, fine. If it doesn't, so be it!
best advice. In other words op, be a man and do what you want to do, that you deem for and don't expect much

Your parents are doing well, what about the parents of your girlfriend.

If your parents are doing well, please date ladies whose parents are equally doing well. If not, you will be the one to cater for your in-laws. You are a young man who is poorly paid, you don't need all these additional responsibilities that will put financial pressure on you

That is the biggest mistake many ladies make and this is why many guys don't sacrifice for ladies..

Do you know that the 60k you casually called Is very huge for the guy and Infact the guy is sacrificing so much more than a billionaire who gives the lady N1M but people don't appreciate monatary gift based on the sacrifice made by the giver but wil rather appreciate based on the amount recieved.

Very sad.

Bro! listen to me carefully as i have no money to give you but this token of Advice!

Never ever, i repeat "never ever" invest in any girl regardless, she may appear hardworking to you but don't try it, as you keep investing your life one ready made sugardaddy will just come and steal her from you instantly and she can never dare to reject a rich man offer as most girls can't

From your story you earn 40k a month which is nothing meaning you need to invest in your self and upgrade yourself first, that 40k you make in a month some guys blow it at a bar one night.

Be wise!
Leave him, someone that needs help wants to become a poverty alleviation program to another
