I have been selling laptops on nairaland since 2016 and I always use stock photos on my ads. It is never to deceive anyone. It's just for the customer to know what the model looks like.

All the laptops elbreezy or anyone else has ever ordered from me, I always send stock photos. This is because, these laptops are in large quantities mostly from warehouses and other wholesalers. They are not laptops from offerup.

The 10 mini laptops he ordered in "CASE 2" were not mint. I never told him they were mint. The hp laptops he ordered, I never told him they were mint too. He lied. I know laptops I describe as mint. But the laptops were not dented or cracked.

Now, if the 10 mini laptops he ordered and waybilled himself were not mint and i always send stock photos plus there were crack issues which I clearly told him would be from the waybill company. No solution cos I won't take what I know I did not give.

I find it hard to believe he would place another order and claims non of this his people still check and all of a sudden, he's now talking about stock photos.

*He also lied that what I tagged "CASE 1" in my explanation doesn't exist. See photos proof.

I will also upload my response to certain questions asked by customers to proof that I don't lie in business and I don't ever try to scam or deceive anyone.

Concerning the Case 1, our first transaction was for my friend. It was not for profit. You sent the laptop to Iwo in Osun state and there wasn't any complain. My friend got what he asked for. So you shouldn't even bring that up.

The main issue here is concerning the defective laptops that you sold to me under the guise of being in mint condition. You told me that the laptops were clean. Do you think that I'll buy such rough laptops if I had known about their conditions?

You lied to and you got caught. Even according to everything that you posted on this thread, you knew that the laptops aren't in good condition.

Please help us to judge the issue. I'm also a seller and I'll never lie to my customers. I don't send stock images and will always tell them about the condition of my products. This deals is affecting my reputation already. Please I need a refund.

The main issue here are the crack and the dents. What I will not accept is you pinning that on me. I will never accept that. You waybilled these laptops yourself. You specifically asked for warranty and I told you I only warranty motherboard.

Working with you to sell them off would be easy as long as the boards are ok but they won't go for the right amount anymore in that state.

This isn't not the first time that I'll be dealing with buyers in Lagos and I've never had any complain. If you blame the cracks on the dispatch, what about the scratches, dirty mouse pad and dents.
Can you supply poor products to your customers or buy bad products from a seller?

I don’t know him, never done business with him. But I was under the impression that you inspected the goods before waybilling them...

Brother you are a big Scam , I will advice anybody doing business with use to use Escrow or not even do the business at all, I told you that Elite book that I know can't break out that way unless the casing is weak , the metallic body is so strong that the maximum you can get is a pressing impact, even elitebook laptops that were offloaded from containers can't just break away that way, the laptop you sold is very old ,dirty and weak , is very simple. Accept that laptop back and refund him or consider your self a fraud and someone not to be trusted

I'm closing my office to go meet engineers I know and top guns who import boards to check for its availability... Hopefully, I'd find so that this issue can be put to bed. I have 30 mins before a client comes over... This is what the board looks like for any board seller in the house.

Wow!!! For the core to be known, then it means the board was fine...there's no way one would know the core if the board was bad since there are two ways to check; at BIOS setup and at Windows... This means the laptop was sold as working...

Something is not adding up. Well, I'm going round to check for it. Solution is what matters most.

This is totally wrong. Your item didn't come as described. You only stated no ram and HDD and no where is it stated board is faulty even if you had no idea. You don't demand for splitting of bill unless the buyer pities you and agrees. Proper thing to do is full refund, you can't win all. That's one of the disadvantages of TLC.

You should pay the buyer in full amount not dictate options. Your image is already tainted, don't make a mess of it the more.

NOW .when I asked for the core.
He said the core i5..like he wasn't​ sure..and if he was sure.i guess in the advert...it shud have being stated.. it's so painful..I lost few of my Chats.. During the process of enquiries...The main reason I went for this laptop .was coz friend asked for this same Dell 5250 .and when I saw it..went for it and told him,I had one pre-ordered..he should wait.....and after a month+..it's a dead on Arrival Laptop I got. The guy was just disappointed. Ram inserted/HDD inserted...And it still didn't come on.. just showing only keyboard light...Brah.if the seller is saying I should return the laptop and still saying I won't get a full refund... how does that feel.. after wasting a month plus and this is how it all pans out.. I had sent u the pictures of the Laptop as u ask and model...I guess.,u ain't seen.it(Yhe board)too shey?

it's very scarce. All I was seeing were 5440, 6440... Most do not have. I'm waiting on someone else. He said he'd get back to me because he was very busy when I went to his office.
