Ibadan is a good place to live but I must ask what you are actually coming to Ibadan to do. Is it look for job or relocate your business?
I know almost nothing about Kaduna so it will be quite difficult for me to advise you wholly.

Just know this about Ibadan; making money in Ibadan requires lots of sense(even more than Lagos). Because of how big the city is, you will require some effort to understand how the city runs and where things are really happening pertime. This basic understanding will help you when you finally relocate. But before coming, be clear about your purpose, it is very important.

There are jobs in Ibadan but the juicy ones are rarely advertised as Ibadan jobs as the organizations are mostly branches or factories. Teaching jobs abounds(some with reasonable pay, many with ridiculous pay). Most jobs you will find may not be encouraging. But above all, I believe in the luck factor and purpose factor.
