Nigerians on social media these days suffer from some form of Herd mentality.

Even if you have dissenting opinion, they will quickly shut you up and proceed to believe what they want to believe.

What will be the Police benefit by photoshopping unknown criminals in the first place?

I now know that almost 15-30% of the news we have been reading on social media are actually fake.

If you hear a news today, the next day they will debunk it. I only wait for the next day before believing any news in Nigeria.

Social Media was right..
The picture was doctored..
Or you no read what the police said? sad

I asked the same question on the previous thread but to my surprise about 20 people rained big insults on me for no reason.

Seriously I tried to see what’s photoshop in this pix earlier but couldn’t figure it out

Over sabi dey worry Nigerians

The blue mark shows a guy in bracelet on his legs and the glasses behind the suspects reflect people and a police man

It’s shows that’s a law enforcement environment
The Police themselves acknowledged that the picture was doctored..
So what exactly are you saying..
The picture was PHOTOSHOPED.. shocked

it's actually a Photoshop, the police confirmed by saying that the pictures was taken separately but merge to give credence, the police intent was good but the people saw it as an opportunity to bash the vile NPF,it was as if the police was making spurious allegations against those people and setting up evidence,a little bit of logic could have saved us from our wrong outburst..
to the NPF,that's what you get when the citizens don't trust you..

i totally agree with your "herd mentality" theory

If the soldiers and police actually killed unarmed protesters at the Lekki tollgate, may everything that makes you happy turn to sources of bitterness for you. Amen.

I can't even remember when last I logged on to either Facebook or Twitter. It's so pathetic that we've allowed hatred to rob us of our ability to think rationally as humans. It's always one way traffic. If you dare challenge them to be objective, they'll abuse you and abuse your family in addition. And @seun's Nairaland is not faring any better. Here, it's people hiding behind monikers carrying out certain agenda...

The criminals are Fulani. In the coming days they will eventually still get the "three R" treatment with just a phone call from Abuja.

Released truly.
Reformed falsely
Re-integrated back into the sane society.

Complete your curse now. If the army did not kill unarmed protesters at lekki, but you and your fellow anarchists lied and used fake photos and videos to set our Country on fire, may you and all your household experience bitterness and sorrow just like those you destroyed and looted their means of livelihood.
