The entire New Owerri is awesome. Bank road, Okigwe road, Orlu road, Ikenegbu layout, Amakohia, World bank etc. are all beautiful. In fact, I don't think there is any area in Owerri that can actually be called a shit hole by Nigerian standard except some roads that are bad.

Mistake on the titanic view ..being long i got there. Good we are on the same page but i dont agree with "some bad roads here and there". Owerri has plenty bad roads here and there...that world bank road is a piece of shit...the hoes/babes, hotels around there make sense though ...e make sense you are repping your hood. Enjoy

lived there when I served there few years back, world bank precisely, and you’re correct. World bank had bad roads, except if that’s changed now. But hotels, guest houses na wetin full there and of course the girls to complement such edifices.

It did not pain you more than it pained me when Ihedioha was unjustly removed. That world bank road is a disaster. Last year, my cousin wedded at one Anglican Church that is located at the junction after Sights and services, to your right. I didn't know the road was that terrible and I came with an ES 330 Lexus car only to find myself swimming through deep trenches and pools of water. I kept cursing Rochas for abandoning that road and so many others. Even billions of naira worth of investments were rotting away because of the terrible road.

I believe this pictures were not take during this current administration coz Wat we now hav in owerri in terms of accessible roads is just an eye sore....mostly why una no snap the almighty Amakaohia/Orlu road, poly Nekede/ihiagwa road, Doughlas/Mbaise road, control/Onitsha road, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th inland roads Rochas constructed

Before posting this, did you visit Dan Ayiam stadium, Douglas road, Nekede and Ihiagwa, did you visit Chukwuma nwaoha, Aba road etc? IMO is a depleted city right now....
