Just gave my life to Christ but it’s been a real battle to control my thoughts and heart , I am a person who thinks about everything with no boundaries but really it’s hard to stop that now , and I’m also having difficulty in stopping fornication the reason I haven’t had sex yet is cause school as not resume yet , I think about it all d time , every minute, I can’t see a beautiful girl and just look pass . I want the Holy Spirit but I guess I can’t have him like this , I’m beginning to think I’ll fall soon can anyone help . i want to change badly but I swear I’m the same

You have to pray ceaselessly until you've mastered how to pray without ceasing and invite the holy spirit to help you win the war against flesh...
Believe me, it is difficult to stop without the holy spirit

There was a time in my life when I became so hungry for God. But, how could I even walk with Him with all these weaknesses that encapsulated my soul? I wondered.

My hunger to live a life that pleases Him led me to Romans chapter 6. I studied that verse prayerfully, and it shaped my life. In fact, it drew me closer to the Person of the Holy Spirit.

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourself servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"(Romans 6:16)

Oh my!
" Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (Romans 6:6)

You will have to yield yourself DAILY to the discipline of the Great Spirit. As you consistently yield, you'll begin to grow to be more like Him.

Resist the Devil and he will flee from you.

It got to a point that I had to surrender all I am to Him. It was then I knew that "Surrender" is an experience. It's a supernatural exchange. You lay everything on the altar without looking back. Are you willing?

Spend quality time with God (Prayer, diligent study of the Word of God, deep sincere Worship) As you do, flesh begins to die and mortality begins to give way for immortality.

And don't forget to always be sincere with the Lord whilst praying to Him. Be willing to confess your daily flaws to Him.

"And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live for themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again" (2 Corinthians 5:15).

thank you prayer I’m beginning to b good in prayers but whenever we worship I don’t feel it I feel empty sometimes like I’m doing wrong even when I pray I feel I’m doing wrong , a lot of habitual sins I feel like I keep asking forgiveness only to go back 3min later , I feel like I’m following God cause I only want something but I want something but that’s not d only reason tho . I sometimes wonder how being in d spirit feel like . I wish I can be more connected with God but I’ll follow ur advice and I pray things change
