My account of course, that's why I'm surprised she is telling us to return she even threatened using the police but I stood my ground because she collected the first one without stress but this second one was when I realized from the people have asked that it's our personal money but she is still disturbing tho
maybe u didnt know, the scheme only allows u to register only ten staff,so hpw other will other stfaff that werent picked by the sch owner feel,in a better place the sch owner will retrieve all the money, take his/her portion and share the remaining amongst all remaining staff ,THE IS CALLED EQUITY. the sch owner can decide to choose family members to benefit from the scheme, and claim he/she didnt even applied for the scheme.moreover not all institution got the fund, also they pay 6-8 persons only out of 10

What I did, was to ask the rewarded teachers to contribute 2k each amongst themselves, and share to the remaining 5 teachers... (Which are new staff anyway)
That's four thousand naira each, right?
Why not contribute six thousand each. That way, the new teachers take home 12k while the old teachers take home 24k.

Lol... So you guys are equally experiencing this greedy act from your proprietress? I also had similar experience but what I gave her was 15k from the first month but this Dec when she came requesting for another 15k, I dragged with her for days over the phone to the point she threatened me and I told her I would report her.

Later I felt pity for her and wanted to give her and she said I shouldn't bother. Hmm..

Just ignore her. The money was sent to you not her otherwise it will be in her account.

Please I want to ask a question, my boss is telling me to return the whole money to her, tho I first returned the first payment to her but when I got to find out is for employees I decided to hold on to the second one, now she is saying it's for the school and not for we the employees, please shed more light

If they have been paying your salary in full since the beginning of the lockdown then she has the right to recover that fund from you...or she will not pay for the coming months. The fund is meant to reduce financial burdens on school owners

Do the owners of the organisation get paid too?

Yes. Theirs us even 50,000.00 not 30,000 they are paying employees
Re: Survival Fund Clarification by Mummymahdi(f): 11:00am On Dec 30, 2020
Yes that's correct, the main purpose is to allow the business owners to recover that's why FG pays their employees and the employees should work for the employers.

It is meant to relieve the burden on employers. Normally, employers are supposed to pay their workers. So if FG is helping employers to pay 10 employees out of their total workforce, the employer should pay the rest. FG don try ooo

I am one of the school owners, I employed 13 staff, registered 7 for the find, six were unable to provide their account details. When the money were paid, I asked them to bring 15k each, I share it to the rest of six staff with three of them 15k, two got 12k each and one got 10k.I kept the remaining change as part of school commission. I further told them they shall do that for the remaining two payments. They were all happy with the arrangement because they could see the sincerity with which I used in sharing the money

That's commendable

U are mistaken, that money was given to u because she include u as her employee some ppl arranged only the members of their family and benefit alone, the purpose of the money is for employers to ease burden and recover not to empower employees , the money should b hers and u collect what she gave u as payment

All this nonsense arrangements you people are coming up with because you've seen money is trash because that was not how the FG meant it. Besides, all together we were not up to ten Teachers in that school which afforded her more slots to include three of her family members including herself. So your point exactly??

Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeww.

You are not wrong for not wanting to share, but I'd want you to realize that You did not work for the money, I see nothing wrong in sharing the love to those who they cannot give the money to.
You need to understand that govt pays maximum of 10 people in an organization. in some, they pay only three and in others, hey pay 5. How will you feel if you are the one whose name was not submitted? Now think of it, how will you feel if
despite that yourr name was not submitted, you still got a bit.

Let's be fair.

PS: i am not exernorating any business owner oo, i know some will take the money and pocket it, I am not talking about those ones. I am talking about those who want to take a share of yours to pay other members of staff like you.

[quote author=geebrownng post=97539468]Having a friend with same issues. These owners of schools are quite greedy and selfish. Funny thing was that she was sacked, after 3 ddays she got alert and then she's asked to return it. She said she won't and the man has been disturbing and threatening the girl.. Even call her a thief. Greed is bad. She has vow never to return that money because as it is, she's even without a job and that's a miracle as far as she's concern [/quote

Hahahahaaaaaaaa... grin

She should have sang this song to the Mans ear..
issa miracle working God!!!
Issa miracle working father...

Imagine.. he sacked her and still had the guts to call her when money landed lol.. this money issue ehnnn.... Chai!!!!

And the phone interview went successful. Even on my dashboard everything is been verified. But we are yet to receive payment.....

Oh.. you own a school? If you've completed the application then be expectant. They'll pay you. But call to confirm if your application went through.

Ok... Now I understand. I don't think they've started paying business owners now. It's only schools and artisans they are paying for now. They started with Teachers. Then the following week they commenced payment for artisans, Keke and okada riders. So, I guess you guys will be the next batch.

Don't worry, for them to have even called you, you'll get it.

In my school, we collected from the 10 staff that benefitted and redistributed to all staff including the over 20 that could not benefit due to the limited slot. Refusal to release it so others can also benefit is the greed here. Teachers didn't benefit out of luck nor merit. The school selected 10 staff at random for the benefit of the all staff.
