Hello Nairalanders,

In response to the call out of Mr. Seun.

It all started in December 2019. He engaged our service for the purchase of a bus from Germany. The vehicle was bought and he was carried along but our contact who we entrusted messed up the whole process and the client is also aware of this development. We paid all necessary charges on behalf of our clients for the logistics but unknown to us our contact person was never sincere and became clear to us much later that he never remitted the amount giving to him.
Fast forward, along the line Mr. Seun said he wasn't interested in the bus any longer and that he wants his money refunded knowing fully well his money was not spent because the bus was purchased. He went as far as involving the police. In March 2020 we came into an agreement to start paying up the money and the police volunteer to collect the money on his behalf but shortly after that came the lockdown which was a very challenging time for us but it was where we have paid N700k. N500k to the police and N200k to the Lawyer who has been helping us to make remittance to the police as advised by them but unfortunately he has spent the last N200k. We had to pause and ensure the police recover the N200k before continuing with the payment.

So, in a nutshell, we are on it and the client in question will get all he ever paid for the bus. It must be made clear that the money wasn't spent by us but we worked with the wrong people hence the issue on ground.

All efforts are currently being made to pay up the balance.

Thank you!

Team.

What did you just write?
All i see is insincerity reeking all over this write-up, rather than clear your name and integrity, you further show us why you cant be trusted...

Online transaction without proper backgroud check can be highly risky, back off!!

Running here to give one story that is not adding up wont help you.

Sorry guys dont know why the anti spam thing disabled my account.

So in december 2019 we agreed on a particular bus and he was to pay and ship the bus. I asked him since the payment will be in Euros I have a better means of helping you just forward the fund into the account of the person in Germany which will reflect within 30mimutes but he declined.

I paid the sum of 1,491,000 into his account on the 6the of December and he confirmed the payment. Later I sent a balance of 200euros which is 80,000naira to him the following day. Then he went quiet for 3days about if he has paid for the bus. On the 11th, he came with a story that the money he sent to Germany just reflected that .morning and the bus I chose has been sold.

He charged me 120,00naira for his service fees which I paid him in full.

So he showed me another vehicle and I told him to go ahead with the purchase. One of the few things I kept ringing into his ears both on phone and on call was to certify the engine and gear which are most paramount to me.

This guy went to buy a bus with a knocked engine.

Continues.....

So he didn't tell me about the bus that it was a knocked engine bus he bought. So while driving the bus down to the port, vehicle knocked and what he told me was that the clutch burnt and they needed a lot of money to fix it. He parked the bus with an Arab mechanic who told them the bus engine is knocked.

But he didn't tell me the truth. I even paid additional 300euros for the knocked engine bus he bought.

Another funny thing is that he doesnt speak german and he was transacting with germans using google translator which he later told me that is what he has been doing.

How did I know he was lying all the while that the bus clutch failed while it was the engine that was knocked? I asked him to send me the arabian mechanic german number which I sent to a friend in germany to call.

When my friend called him, he told my friend that when they towed the bus to his workshop, he checked and told them that the engine is knocked but this guy didnt tell me.

My friend and the mechanic spoke severally for hours. This was already January. So the mechanic sent us a video of the bus engine which showed it knocked.

Video of the knocked engine below.

So after he gave me a story of that what went bad on the bus was the fuel line, clutch and kick starter, we decided to fix it. Sent additional 250k as part of the payment for shipping which was against our agreement. What we agreed was that I will pay for shipping after the bus has gotten to the port.

Later he gave me a story that the driver he sent money to has absconded with the monet and they have to look for another set of guys to tow the vehicle to port. I was querying why tow a vehicle that is working but he said it is easier to use a flatbed to move the bus to the port. I just wanted to get that bus to the port and I paid him another money.

So after he engaged the new shipper and they used the flatbed to convey the bus to the port that was when I asked why they didnt drive the bus and they used a flatbed. He gave some lies. Then my friend went to see the mechanic in Germany he now gave a full story of how the engine was knocked and he told them the truth is to buy a new engine which he said was like 3000euros.

At that point the new shippers were asking for more money from him as well which he didnt have and they decided to seize the bus.

By that time I have paid a total of 1.94million for a dead bus that hasn't even gotten to the port.

So I got him arrested in portharcout and the matter was taken to the state CID.

We entered an agreement that he will pay up all the money by May, 2020. As at this evening the total amount he has remitted to the state CID is just 500k.

The most annoying part of the deal is that from the first day, I told him that I picked up a loan of 2million from a cooperative bank with an interest rate of 25% monthly and I want him to be careful with this fund.

I actually got a logistics contract with two oil servicing companies in portharcourt which was why I decided to buy the bus.

By February ending when i couldn't present my bus to the contracting and procurement department, the two contracts were terminated. I lost the 2 contracts because of this guy and I am still paying the debt in the bank.

Please kindly add inconvenience allowance /fee to the money.
To make it 2M.
I hope the CID people told him that there is such fees added to his repayment bill.

You just they pay money they pay money. The man obviously was scamming you. You should have suspended any payment as soon as you heard the bus which he bought is faulty, and immediately ask for a refund.
The u_klass guy though do not have any intentions of absconding with your money No, his scam was selling to you scarp from junkyard and passing it as German use. But unfortunately the scrap was worse than he imagined. Now the U_klass guy is cornered by his own scam.
U_klass your problem was greed, you wanted excess profit and this one don land you inside bad reputation. The only thing remaining is to change business name.

@ OP , I didn't read the whole story but when I got to the part of knocked engine, I just concluded that he's a fraud. And that you paid for it? For what?

Mr refund the OP all his money to the last penny. You are a fraud and everything is just evident here. Even your side of the story has some incoherence in it.

I wish this matter gets to the court so that you will have to pay damages including the inconvenience you caused the OP in losing the contract.

I am still paying the loan as I type this from the standing order document I signed using my salary account for the cooperative loan. My account is being debited almost 100k monthly. As at the last debit what was in my account was way too low and I have minus 70k balance now

This is the life he has put me into presently.

See picture of my account below.

That is actually the next step this week. We want to take the matter to the court and get to it properly. I cant just take it anymore and I had to share the story and also advise those that might be planning to go into any form of business with him because he said he does both AUTOS and real estate.

Exactly! Please take it to court and get a good lawyer. The case is as good as won with damages to claim if your lawyer knows his onions. And please don't forgot to take it to God in prayers. He is Omnipotent and Omniscient.
I don't know why people cannot be clean when it comes to handling other people's money.

There is something fundamentally wrong with Nigerians ...Everyday the good car dealers will be here advertising their cars ...but what did they get in return ....insults from internet rat....what people fail to understand is the fact that those internet rats work for scammers ....they were sent to rubish people with integrity with a view to getting the attention of gullible Nigerians ....indeed, they are getting it ....No responsible car dealer with records would wanna tarnish his or her image ...The problem is with the gullible Nigerians who fell for this people giving reputable car dealers bad name

The agreement he signed at the police station was for him to pay up the whole money by end of May 2020. When he defaulted for months and I called him sometimes in september last year he arrogantly and rudely told me never to call his line that I should be talking to the police. I was shocked at the audacity he had for someone that has defaulted and is owing me almost 2million naira.
