Good afternoon house. This will be a very interesting story. I want to share my experience with a car dealer I met on nairaland(YUKLASS AUTOS without the Y) and gave him almost 1.96million and has not delivered the bus.

The matter has been taken to portharcout state CID.

Details follow below......

I promise not a single lie will be made in other to make the story more interesting.
You don't go to middlemen/agents to buy cars like this instead, you buy from auto dealers who have a car stand from where you can pick a car should the transaction fail like it has done here.

I gave 1.5 million for a Toyota Highlander on 23 February, 2016.

The worst part of it, he is a cousin.

No car, no money

When you collect money from a client , it is your responsibility to deliver or refund in full within a reasonable agreed time frame.

It does not matter if you were defrauded , sick, lost a loved one, etc. If you have to borrow to pay back you do that first and save your NAME.

Your actions and inactions are putting genuine cardealers in bad light.

Settle this matter as soon as possible .

Well said!

Majority of so called Car dealers on Nairaland doesn't even have a Car spark plug.
They are agent looking for customers to get Commission from the real Car dealers.

The annoying part is his nonchalant attitude.

U.KLASS Autos also claimed his lawyer that stood in for him during the agreement signed at the state CID was sent 200k since around August/September last year and he has spent the money as the state CID claimed he didn't bring any 200k. And this guy kept quiet and silent about it. for like 4months now.

Who gives money to a lawyer to remit and didn't do it and keep quiet about it?

Obviously it's all lies as he began this transaction with me on lies. Well, this week will be the week by God's grace.

Sometimes things go south. Shit happens.
U_klass please sort this out quickly.
Sometimes vehicle online descriptions aren't what you finally get. There are also deceptive adverts. Been there.

That said, the onus is on the dealer to make full disclosure to buyer and sort things out quickly before it escalates or stomach the cost. You win some, you lose some but at least keep your integrity and that of other intact.

I hope this is resolved amicably.

Hello Nairalanders,

In response to the call out of Mr. Seun.

It all started in December 2019. He engaged our service for the purchase of a bus from Germany. The vehicle was bought and he was carried along but our contact who we entrusted messed up the whole process and the client is also aware of this development. We paid all necessary charges on behalf of our clients for the logistics but unknown to us our contact person was never sincere and became clear to us much later that he never remitted the amount giving to him.
Fast forward, along the line Mr. Seun said he wasn't interested in the bus any longer and that he wants his money refunded knowing fully well his money was not spent because the bus was purchased. He went as far as involving the police. In March 2020 we came into an agreement to start paying up the money and the police volunteer to collect the money on his behalf but shortly after that came the lockdown which was a very challenging time for us but it was where we have paid N700k. N500k to the police and N200k to the Lawyer who has been helping us to make remittance to the police as advised by them but unfortunately he has spent the last N200k. We had to pause and ensure the police recover the N200k before continuing with the payment.

So, in a nutshell, we are on it and the client in question will get all he ever paid for the bus. It must be made clear that the money wasn't spent by us but we worked with the wrong people hence the issue on ground.

All efforts are currently being made to pay up the balance.

Thank you!

Team.

As part of my effort to not only get my full refund but also make you have a taste of what I have gone through in the past 13months, I will also upload this on twitter and tag the Nigerian Police Force twitter handle properly. You think this is all joke right? You have exhausted your grace period all thanks to your dangerous attitude and dishonesty.

I will be your last victim as your reputation will be properly dragged along as this matters continues.

The agreement he signed at the police station was for him to pay up the whole money by end of May 2020. When he defaulted for months and I called him sometimes in september last year he arrogantly and rudely told me never to call his line that I should be talking to the police. I was shocked at the audacity he had for someone that has defaulted and is owing me almost 2million naira.

Imagine the arrogance and audacity?

I hope no NLer patronize that fool henceforth. See the kind of predicament he put a customer bc of greed.

Try this with me and see if you will live to enjoy d money

He was busy with his doctorate program as he was battling with this papers and publications that time.

And mind you there was time constraint due to the driving factor which was the Contracts I needed to start moving things for those two(2) companies by Febraury/March. So I couldn't wait for my friend to be free as he was busy all through reason why I engaged the services of U.Klass.

When the whole thing became mopped up, I had to beg him to spare 2days to contact the mechanic and run some errands for me. That later brought light into all the lies and cover ups U.Klass has been feeding me about the bus.

You are too kind bro. Publish his real names here, phone numbers so that his names will be associated with fraud incase any prospective client Googles his name online.

Secondly, I'll tell u a true story that happened on NL, the monikers am calling out are quite active for verification.
A clearing Agent here on NL by name 'oliverjiad' tried to play this game UklassautosnPro is playing with u with Amdman the most sincere car seller on NL based in Canada.

Guess what? All the way from Canada a.mdman controlled the law enforcement agents in Nigeria and oliverjiad was picked and locked up in Nigerian cell for 4 days where his butthole was rammed by fellow inmates and when he came out, all misunderstanding and misyanning were settled. Case was closed. Money returned.

In your own case, proximity is in ur favour. U can oversee this case physically present as long as u both are in Nigeria and watch UklassautosnPro arrested by the police.
U should tip the police and inmates to disvirgin his butthole in ur presence. He will be forced to reach a tangible agreement with u.

Court case in Nigeria will so frustrate u. I will not tow that line.

Do not be too lenient with this fraudsters. They do not deserve mercy.

Dear OP, sorry that your transaction with UKLASSAuto went this way.
I had a similar experience with him that didn't go too well, but he succeeded at the end.

I paid the sum of 2.2M for a 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE from him last year on 12th March 2020.
see attached invoice:

A Soldier was contracted to deliver the car to me in Uyo from Lagos, but couldn't make it, his friend who isn't a military officer impersonated him and was bringing the vehicle to Uyo when he was caught by Police in Benin, the guy was arrested and the vehicle impounded.
All through his period was in contact with me and even went to Benin where he was also arrested and detained.
He was able to clarify and do the proper documentation for both himself and the vehicle, which was later released by 24th March 2020, I also attached screenshots of what transpired.
He personally delivered the vehicle to my friend in Benin, because I now want the vehicle to be properly registered before bringing it to Uyo.

During the period when he and the vehicle were in detention, his elder brother called me regularly to update me on how they intend to secure their release.

I was really surprised at the length he went to get the vehicle out, some other car dealers would have left me to my fate to get the vehicle from the police.

The I know isn't a scammer, I also know he will pay you till the last kobo. From what you posted, he had been defrauded but I know he will pay you.

And you could even see that the transaction I had with him was even after yours had happened, he could have taken my money to pay you and be telling me stories, but he didn't.

A lot had been lost, but everything can be recovered as long as there is life.
