Lol, that is what they are taught in the Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics. It is garbage in garbage out (GIGO). Higher institution students are not given credit for trying to solve real life problems. They are taught like primary and secondary school students. A+B gives AB plus heat, although the heat is not desired. Instead of allowing them to research and see if A+Q can give the desired result of AB without the heat. You are required to reproduce A+B and get AB plus the heat during exams and term papers/Project.
