Former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi, is of the opinion that Nigeria isn't working at the moment because people are being recruited into offices based on sentiments.

Obi stated this while commissioning a road project in Rivers state today January 13.

“The reason Nigeria is not working today is that people have been recruited based on sentiments. If we have to recruit you to be local government chairman, governor, vice president, president, and minister, it must be based on capacity and competence, which are viable not what we are doing now and the country is collapsing” he said

I do not agree with you the biggest problem facing Nigeria today the Citizens are literate there are just too many illiterate Nigerian ar Home and abroad. Illiteracy is the biggest problems facing Nigeria people just go to developed countries and see the amount of Nigerians which are employed only thing these people do vote for criminals. As I have said it as long as Nigerians are ruling the country the country will not move forward at all
