Nice one...

I was very pleased with the newly constructed road network in River State by Gov. Wike. How I wish such gesture can by emulated by Governor of Bayelsa State, the state need's such infrastructure because is overdue.

No Niger Delta State is as developed as Rivers State. Even though the people just like other Nigerians are impoverished but the standard of living is one of the highest if not the highest in Nigeria.

My dear, Rivers State is not only Portharcourt. Almost all the rural parts of Rivers State is rotten. Even inside that Portharcourt, majority of the internal roads are so bad that they are always not motorable. If you doubt me, wait a while and visit there when rainy season starts. Not to talk of the fact that the state parades the highest number of jobless youths.

The Federal roads to which refund has been made by the Federal government wasn't embarked upon by Gov. Wike. It was done by his predecessors - Amaechi and Omehia.

Gov. Wike should try and pay Rivers State pensioners their gratuity. Since the inception of Wike there hasn't been promotion in the State civil service neither has he implemented the 30,000 minimum wage. A government that prioritises project over and above human capacity development is a failed government.

what is jealousy there? Someone is urging your useless governors to be accountable and you are here shouting jealousy. No wonder your region remain the way it is even with the huge amount of allocation.
Mind you, GEJ who is from the same region with Rivers State refused to pay this money because he was having political differences with Amaechi but the man some are calling enemy of the south decided to pay.

This Buhari government may be harsh on poor Nigerians but the man actually showed a lot of honesty when it's related to money. Up till now, no one can ask questions of how he spent some money. Though he has so many bad people around him sha.

The roads and other critical infrastructural development he is executing will attract investors and industrial development which will in turn create jobs. Government don't create jobs but provide the enabling environment. This is what is obtained in capitalist economies.
