It's frustrating...I've mailed them. They responded twice 1st time: they said my application is being considered and decision will be made soon. 2nd time: they said it's been escalated to relevant department.

Greatnesslomo:
This is really strange!how can they just decide to ignore some applications at will?it is baffling and depressing even

Ok, thanks so much for the response

If you're applying together, yes. If not, move the money to your account and use your own statement.

I can resonate with your plight (my biometric was on 10th)

Your application is actually 20th working day as at today because of the holidays.

Please just remain calm. It will result in praise. We will share our testimonies soon. smiley

Amen.thank you

Hello gurus in d house,
Please I have a situation here which need clarity.
Sometimes around 2007/8 thereabout I applied for Bsc in UK and was denied visa at tls Ikeja.
I will be submitting my visa application later this year for September intake and I want to know if I should declare or not the 2007/8 refusal which I can’t remember reason for refusal anymore.
Moreso, am not sure if biometrics were done then.
I don’t want anything that will jeopardize my chance in any form.
Your honest and experienced responses would be appreciated.

2007 I dont think there was biometric so that explains why..

Was it an agent who applied for you or you applied yourself. Hopefully you applied by yourself. For sure declare it because it on their record , fill in with the best information you can remember

@LagosismyHome, thanks for your swift response.
I actually applied by myself but I don’t have any information about that application anymore.
I do read here where people put in reasons for refusal while filling their visa application.
So I wanna know if it’s a must to state reason for refusal or one can skip it.
Please note I don’t remember the specific year/month and other details, not even the name of the school embarassed cry cry

Good morning, pls if dependents don’t apply same time with the main applicant would it reduce their chances of getting the visa?

Not at all..... it doesnt affect as applicants are given a personal choice to apply together or separately or not at all if you dont want

What you need is to just follow the requirements

Normally, you’re only required to state any refusals/immigration issue/s you’ve had in the last 10 years.

I created a dollar card using Flutterwave’s barter app.
Download BARTER APP by Flutterwave and register, and from there it’s straight forward

You can say you don't remember exactly the reason for the refusal as it's been a very long time.

Not quite correct, you're asked to state any refusals you've had at any time.

The real question is if his biometrics was taken As at the time he applied because Finger prints are usually kept on file for up to 10 years.

It however started in 2007. So you can do the maths. wink

Yes it is normal... It's the Next stage that takes time but if it's priority application, you should get your decision mail by Tuesday or Wednesday.

The time limit has been removed. Every refusal now has to be declared, whether it happened within the past 10 years or before.

Same shoes. I had my first refusal in 2008. Subsequent ones in 2012 & 2013.. I can’t remember the exact months as well.

Don’t use the online appplication except you have someone in the uk as you will be needing a UK address. Send them a mail and you will be prompted on what to do.

It’s pretty straight forward.
