Please a friend in USA wants to send me money via WorldRemit, pls professionals how does it work?

My bank actually is Access bank

Request that they send it via Western Union. CBN has blocked bank to bank transfers until further notice.

Just take your id card to the bank that can receive money from world remit, the sender will send a code to you, that's the code you will take to the bank with your � card.... Pls note make sure the sender rounded the money up before sending to you... I mean the sender can send 100 dolls 150 dolls 200 dolls. Some Nigeria banks don't have small denominations. So make sure the sender round the money up before sending

what's the expiration for the reference number or code when it is sent to u to pick up the cash at your bank of choice?

As long as the money has been sent. It's already in the system of the platform. Anytime you go there with the reference and code( they are different) you will get your money.

But what will you be waiting for after getting the reference and code? U no need money ni?

The person sent me an eight digit transactional code...is that the only code I need in picking up the cash from the bank?

No. That's the reference. You will need another code. It's worldremit that will send it. If he has done the transfer and given you 8 digit code, then go to the bank. After filling the form and submitting, they will send the code to you as SMS

The number you gave to him, which he inturn gave to worldremit is the number they will send it to. You should be able to receive SMS on it. It mustn't be the number linked to your acct.

Delete old messages, disable DND(do not disturb) in the message settings.

kaiiiiii, the number I gave to him don't receive alert or inbox messages pls is there a way out to change the number sir...

He would have to go back and change your number or better still, he should give you both the reference and the code.
