Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi has revealed she was placed on bed rest by her personal caregivers following her housewarming over the weekend where she hosted friends and relatives, Igbere TV reports.

The 42-year-old said in an Instagram post on Wednesday that her caregivers gave her sedatives without her knowledge to enable her sleep well as part of her medication.

The filmmaker joked that she had plans on counting the money received at her party once she was strong.

“I know say I be agric, mi o gbo rara� was so stressed n weak after Sunday party so my doc & nurse set me up by putting sleeping injection in my drips ni sha…me that had plans to count al the money sprayed on me by me, myself and I alone � thank God nobody in the house knows where the money is. #omolomo will count wen I am stronger ma sha Allah� #nothingSERIOUS,” she said.

Some of her colleagues also wished her quick recovery in the comment section of the post.
