I remember a time in this country when all the six ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's. Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge
finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity, Berth
Nnaji was in Power and Energy, Dieziani Madueke was the
powerful minister for oil. The six of them outside the Federal
Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at the larger FEC. Whatever they decided
would eventually be the position of government. In 6 years,
this was the situation. Okiro and Onovo had the police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled the Army.
These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets. Rather than care about the poor Igbo chaps
scattered all over the country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad.
The 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared the money. The
Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them
in the SE, they were not bothered. They refused to pay the
Chinese the Counter part fund. They shared the money. Enugu/
Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to
their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned. Who is to blame? Who
Was marginalising the Igbo's that time? You had your chance, you bungled
it.
There was only 1 Yoruba minister worth mentioning at that time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric, the yoruba did called or complain of been marginalized. His budget was
less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labour had over 10% for
his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to the treasury for the
benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys
meant nothing to him. If an Igbo becomes President
tomorrow after bubu, will there be any difference? The
Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people.....

What has these nonsense you posted got to do with the issue at hand ...by the way Olusegun Aganga is from where , Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, Musiliu Obanikoro, Abduljelili Oyewale Adesiyan, Erelu Olusola Obada, Olajumoke Akinjide, Olugbenga Ashiru etc...are these cabinet members not westerners ..you twist facts to suit your baseless and illogical narrative.

All of these is happening because the president tolerated and supports the herdsmen. Not just the president, other wealthy elites supports the fulani herdsmen because they do not want to pay for land, pay tax or run any cost of the cattle business that they do.
The herdsmen must leave the nigerian forest and build ranches. The forest is animals to live in. If they choose to remain in the forests, then they should go to the northern forest.
There is no way herders and farmers won't clash if the herders don't keep their cows in ranches.

They will be talking a matter of importance

Some lunatics will be bringing up divisive talk

What concerns this crazy talk with the topic at hand?

For your information, during GEJ term as president, all regions were carried along almost equally and that was why there was no "noise" then

There was visible federal character unlike what we see now.

The people you mentioned above, although all hold important position and did their best (although not enough)

Try to stick to the matter at hand and stop crying over split milk otherwise miserability is your portion

Why would they complain when in that period the Nigerian economy became the biggest in Africa, Our ecinomy was growing at double digit, Our TI corruption index was on steady decline, FDI was above the roof.. if Buhari can achieve that feat without a single Igbo, trust me 70% of igbos won't complain of marginalisation cuz already 95% of igbos has never depended on govt for anything!

Whether an Igbo man would look into the plight of Igbos or not should not be anyone's concern. Did Obj look into Yorubas plight when was in power? Had all Fulani presidents looked into the plight of Hausa/Fulanis while in power?

Your answer is as clean and clear as mine, so your logic of appointed ministers should not come close to the picture which still remains that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander and that is fairness and equality to all tribes holding the country.

Nice point

But let's be clear here: Nigeria has bad leaders all over the place, so it's not peculiar to the Igbos. From the West to the North, South to East, I can give you lots of examples.

People ask for certain leadership position to give them a sense of belonging in their own country, not necessarily that the person who will hold the position will perform magic.

Lastly, Nigeria is a developing country, so our leadership is still evolving. As a result, it is difficult to hold politicians accountable. That's why Buhari can flout the constitution and not get impeached. If Buhari was a US president, they would have removed him from office a long time ago.

Again, your points are valid, but I have given you the answers you seek.

but finally you said the bitter truth, igbos feel they are marginalised in this country..after hausa Na Igbo, 90% of bank staffs in Nigeria are igbos, 98% of the market space in Nigeria is controlled by the igbos, 90% of investments in South south especially pH are owned by the igbos, their daughter is the only nigerian to have held the post of minister of finance twice under two different presidents, Super eagles team has always being between the igbos and other tribes(kanu, okocha, ighalo, Mikel, Iwobi, chukwueze, etc). Igbos have committed more kidnap/ armed robbery crime in Nigeria. So watin be nnamdi kanu problem, the Military/government are controlled by the north(hausa/fulani), entertainment, economic and sports are controlled by the igbos. 50/50.

My brother, your envy towards the igbo man is real not hidden

All these you have mentioned i.e the Bank staff, nollywood, super eagles are not the igbo man faults

They are born with natural wisdom and strenght.

Say the truth, when okocha or kanu plays football are you not entertained, these are talents that cannot be bought through quota system/nepotism

You also fail to mention that when these people played for Nigeria, the coaches/NFF chairmen are not Igbos but other tribemen who saw potential talent in these young men

Also in nollwoood, Aki and Pawpaw, John Ibu are men with talent

You should bury yourself in shame, after the civil war, the Igboman was given "pennies" to start life afresh

Just to set him back, all he owned previously was rendered null and void

He worked hard and bounced back on his feet and you have the audacity to accuse him of dominating

I guess your tribesmen were asleep when the Igbos bounced back from the effects of the civil war and "dominated".

Igbos have committed more kidnappings.....you may be right sha but we do not hold the "award" for the ritualists, the beheadings, the bunkerers etc

Get my point?

History

The post of speaker given to the SW corner was cleverly traded off, Obj himself was embarrassed to the level of"motor park rascals"same with Prof Woke Soyinka, Lagos State was invaded by the ihejiriaka army, etc.The reason we advice Yoruba race to tread with caution on the Fulani menace,if given the opportunity our fellow south neighbor will do10x worsts.

Get my point?
lol ..so the fulani/ hausa controlling the military/govt is wat artificial wisdom. You just ignored my point, I have no issue with the Igboman doing well in those aforementioned areas, but why are they feeling marginalised...when the world belongs to them.
