shocked Upon say Bola Tinubu is a god that must Lord it over Nigeria as his birthright? What concerns an average Nigeria with an APC/PDP unwritten agreement?

Even the Alaafin Iku baba yeye o have written a strong letter to Buhari on the atrocities of his fulani kiths & kin over the SW and other regions across this failed & false contraption of a nation. What have Tinubu said? Nothing because he dont wants to annoyed his slavemasters.

He should keep on deceiving himself using surrogates to express his disenchantment with the political machinations of the cabal.Like Awo, MKO Abiola, Tinubu will never be president.

Alaafin is a traditional and cultural leader. It is political leaders likes Awolowo, Abiola, Osinbajo, Fasola, Tinubu etal they endorse to fight the political battle while they remain the traditional guide and compass of the Yorubas.

That is the symmetry of leadership in Yorubaland you Igbos can never understand because you have no such sophisticated system in ala Igbo.

Unlike you, Alaafin understands Tinubu's role and that is why he is supporting him unconditionally.

So the sophistication is for the politically conscious coward to keep quiet while the Alaafin will be the one doing the talking for him right? Wouldn't Tinubu be speaking & acting decisively as a leader if he gets there?

When Buhari allegedly feels his Fulanis brethren were being killed unjustly in Saki & other parts of Oyo state back then, he stormed Ibadan angrily without even observing courtesy demanding the late Lam Adeshina to explain why the abnormality happened. This is how real leaders act.Be asslicking for a man who know the truth but refused to accept reality.

Did Alaafin complain to you? If he is happy to speak and has no problem with Tinubu being circumspect then what is your own business as an Igbo to the point you are crying over the split milk of others?

If you know of the saying "there is method to his madness" you will understand why it is only mischief-makers like you calling out BAT and not Alaafin and many , many Yoruba leaders and prominent elite who are actually firmly supporting Tinubu with all they have.

Taunt all you want but dont be too blinded by tribalism and bigotry to miss the significance of so many Yoruba traditional, political, business and elite Yoruba leaders coming together to endorse Tinubu as we have not seen happen for any other Yoruba political leader in recent memory.

All those people , respected leaders and achievers, cannot unanimously endorse a "coward" or worthless politician to utilise Yorubas slot. Not possible.

You Igbos have no respect for a man's standing, age, achievement and affiliations, as it is not in your culture, but think what it says about Tinubu for so many accomplished Yorubas to be behind him uncompromisingly.

What is wrong in what was said? A Yoruba Oba warning about repercussion for high treachery and reminding others that Yorubas do not break covenants.

Who else should such an ominous reminder come from other than a foremost Oba of the Yorubas watching the scheming against one of his illustrious sons. They should defeat Tinubu if they can. Trying to scheme him out is pathetic and cowardly.
There's a say in Yoruba that "Obe kii min n'ikun agba" "Agba kii fi gbogbo enu s'oro"
The headline doesn't speak well of the respected Alaafin not until the details now.

Reading the update now, it still go well with the say that, "Bi oju ba se ipin, aa yo han ni"

I stood with alaafin on this, HE HAS SPOKEN WONDERFULLY WELL.

The headline is just quite to harsh

Meanwhile, leave chief wailer (racoon) alone to continue wailing, he always see Tinubu tormenting him in his dreams hence the incessant PULL HIM DOWN SYNDROME against Tinubu's personality.

I agree too with you that the headline is indeed harsh. That is entirely the fault of the presenter of the news. Nonetheless the Alaafin's did issue the warning and below is another reportage of the same event .

We Yorubas come from a culture of respect and belief in the wisdom of elders, our achievers, prominent sons and daughters plus our omoluabis.

With that in mind, I must ask what Yoruba haters of Tinubu think of the fact that those folks I mentioned are united, across all cadres of achievement and leadership, in supporting Tinubu as we have not seen them do for any other Yoruba in recent memory.

Can this huge number of Yoruba leaders be united in wanting to foist the wrong candidate on Nigeria to the disgrace of Yorubas bearing in mind it was the same sort who rejected Obasanjo passionately in 1999?
Abi we are to believe our custodians, like IPOBians would claim, are all looking for contracts and political patronage?

Is it that they are all mad and wrong at the same time or is it that they see things most Nigerians don't have the capacity to see, that validates Tinubu would be an excellent President , and that the detractors of Tinubu ( mainly Igbos and born-to-rule Northerners) don't want Nigerians to see?

Nigerians are too emotional and are thus a people manipulative elements can hijack their thinking to make them blind to what is obvious.

Some, mainly Igbos and born-to-rule Northerners, know why they are maligning Tinubu, and talking of bullion van and "drug Baron" all as if that is all the man is about to the extent some Yorubas began joining them to attack a man others envy and covet yet we do not appreciate we are lucky to have like Awolowo.

Even Yorubas who hate Tinubu passionately cannot call Alaafin a fool or view him a man of unsound judgement. Him and many other prominent Yorubas know why they are backing Tinubu uncompromisingly even if they love Osinbajo and others capable Yorubas too.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/megaiconmagazine.com/2023-alaafin-endorses-tinubu-for-president/amp/

Oba Adeyemi, who declared that he believed in the mission of the group, also added that its mission is well thought of, noting that covenant is very important, which must be fulfilled either written or not.

He warned, “In Yoruba land, covenant is very important. We believe that with law of retributive justice, if you break covenant the repercussion is great. You may think it (race for 2023) is too early but it is never too early to start”.

The custodian of culture, who decried the spate of insecurity in the country further submitted , “you said you have defeated Bokoharam technically. You also made various claims , but the point is that nothing has happened, people are being killed. The latest of such was last week, the Boko Haram knelt people down and slaughtered them like goats. We cannot continue like that.

“If you want to have a country that is forward moving, there must be federal system of government. There is no sincerity in Nigeria politics, lack of fate in the political arrangement of Nigeria is one of the major set back facing the country.

“Things have not changed in this country; there is insincerity. We need to have a president who can listen.

“We have not been fortunate to have the kind of president that we deserve. We are the first to build skyscraper, cocoa industry, we had always been ahead. Money was used for the purpose for which it was meant for, so we were prepared and developing. If education during the time of Chief Obafemi Awolwo was on concurrent list, there would not have been free primary education in the South-West.

“I said it at different fora that the illiterates cannot govern the literates, it cannot work. If the Queen of England was invited to the Parliament, she must appear.

“Your mission is well thought of, be strong, hopeful and your aspiration shall be met

“I believe in your mission. The Yoruba believe that everything that you want to do requires prayers. I pray that you will succeed in this

Don't mind them, they never learn!
They don't care if their people are killed or if the Fulanis take over their region provided they're able to make tinubu president.

Their son Obasanjo was president for 8 years but nobody can point exactly to any outstanding thing he did for the SW aside enriching himself and cronies.

Of what value is the presidency when the people are being killed, maimed, kidnapped and raped??

At the end of the day Tinubu will campaign like any other candidate. He has no devine right to rule Nigeria. If it is destiny to be president then no man born of woman can stop him. If it is not his destiny then all the traditional rulers on this planet can never make it happen. Tinubu's date with his destiny draws near.
