BREAKING!!! EBSU Students Stage Protest After Five Persons Fainted While Trying To Write Exams(Photos)

By Wisdom Nwedene, Abakaliki

Students of Ebonyi State University, EBSU, on Thursday, staged a heavy protest at the Permanent Site of the Institution after five students fainted while trying to write their exams on Wednesday.

IGBERE TV correspondent monitoring the development gathered that trouble started when the General Studies Examination which used to be conducted at the Ishieke Campus and Permsite was scheduled to only take place at the Permanent Site of the Institution with over 10,000 students struggling to write the exams.

IGBERE TV correspondent gathered that over 30 students lost their phones and tablets while trying to enter into the CBT centre.

Following the protest, the Abakaliki - Enugu Express Way was blocked by the students that demanded an end to the CBT examination.

According to a student that spoke with our correspondent, "We don't want CBT again. We want Paper and pencil. Why should the school management decide to suffer us like this."

"This is very bad. We demand justice. Over five students fainted yesterday while trying to write the exam.".

IGBERE TV reports that it took the intervention of the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Barrister Eric Kelechi Igwe before the students were convinced to leave the Federal road.

The Deputy Governor promised that the CBT examination will be ended.

Investigation done by IGBERE TV revealed that Governor David Nweze Umahi has not paid the staff of the institution for over seven months.

Struggling to write an exam that over 70% of the students won't use the certificate on graduation....
Nigeria educational system is so flawed just imagine the stress people go there to use the services they paid for....
If I had known, I would have spent my university years learning an advanced skill and becoming independent
Of what use is university when you still graduate and told to go get 6 years working experience as a condition for employment

TradeSignals3:
Hello good day, we all know how hard the country is these days. As a result, we have been looking for various ways of making money both online and offline. But no one that has a sure way online is ready to help. It was on a platform when I was looking for how to make money that providence made me meet someone who introduced me to one trading platform where I registered with 1k and made over Two thousand naira on the first day. The profit is huge and more than 100% and it is made every single night. The person who introduced me made over Sixty thousand in three weeks. How do we do it? There is a trading site, there is also a signal group on Telegram or WhatsApp. We receive signals from our leader on what to trade and the amount to stake, every trading session lasts for 3 minutes and trading takes place 24/7 but, we only trade for 2 hours in a day. That is 9 PM-11 PM, but we usually get online at least 30 minutes before trading begins. The signals are too sure as we always win 80% of our trade. You are guaranteed of making profit every night and you can withdraw your money Mondays to Fridays 8a.m-12a.m. Even if the money means nothing to you, it can at least settle some little bills and get you out of being always broke. If you want to be making between 1000 to 3000 Naira or more every single night. If after registration you don't make any profit from the platform on your first day, I am ready to refund your 1k. Chat with me on WhatsApp 0.8.1.0.7.8.8.7.8.4.6 to know more and start trading asap.

Ants are more passionate towards the wounds of their fellow ant compared to the most Religious Nigeria Human beings, who whenever you give them a platform to practise what the preach, they fail woefully, every time.

One fundamental rule of the universe if the rule and knowledge of "GOOD" and "EVIL", we always use Religion as our indicator our GOOD AND EVIL, How would your creator judge those who were born before finding or seeing the saviour?

We kill our young leaders and run to our various religion for cover.

Being a Nigerian is fast becoming a nightmare. When I look at some new born babies in this country, especially from poor homes, I imagined what the futures holds for them. Things are really getting tough in all sectors.

Why should the school conduct CBT with such number of students and limited ICT infrastructure

The management should be held accountable and sued for damages where possible by te parents of the students

It pains my heart because Ebsu is my alma mater. Why will someone converge all the year1 students to one hall, one student even died, and at the end nobody, I mean nobody will be punished.
