Congratulations to all of them and their families. This means nothing to the ordinary Nigerians and these Nigerian people who head these international agencies most certainly have dual citizenship and do not owe any form of allegiance to Nigeria and/or it's people.

Do not get me wrong, it is inspirational as it shows you can be anything you set your sights upon however these appointments will not necessarily translate into better living standards for the average Nigerian and that is what we must primarily concern ourselves with.

Replaced indeed.

History revisionist spotted.

Are you just saying this because you hate Buhari or you are truly not aware that Buhari nominated Okonjo Iweala? In fact, he withdrew Nigeria’s initial candidate for the job and replaced him with Okonjo Iweala.

If he did not replace Nigeria's former candidate with Okonjo-Iwealla, she will not be there today. Also if Buhari did not fight off US when US was trying to forcefully pull out Akinwunmi the ADB President, he will not be there today. Buhari made their current positions possible. However, this does not remove the fact that Buhari is the promoter and sponsor of the serial killers called Fulani herdsmen and all promoters of killers will die miserably

you are right!

Shattuck:
yes Buhari supported her just like every other Nigerian. 2 it wasn't Buhari 's support that gave her the DG, who knows Buhari in the int community, I think it was the EU collective stand on her candidancy that gave her the edge when trump wanted otherwise. 3 Nigeria had no better alternative, her visit to Buhari is just part of the diplomatic process nothing special about it, 4 Buhari couldn't have stood against her candidancy even if he wanted to it would have greatly exposed his nepotism, and mediocrity to the int community as Mrs Iweala was the most qualified and Nigeria 's best bet for such position, imagine Buhari acting against her bid for the job do you know the negative vibe and reaction he would have received. this has little to do with Buhari tbh, if he had his way I am sure this wouldn't be his preferred.

honestly that Amina woman no even do work for us

DKM123:
When I saw Amina as DEPUTY, SECRETARY general blablabla, I immediately knew that it was a Buharist making this list.
Who cares about a DEPUTY typist abi secretary whatever? But because Buhari appointed her into a sector she has no business being in in 2015, you had to insert her inside. Telmabout Buhari appointed her but forgot to mention those Jonathan appointed on the list.

Propaganda kill you there.

Jonathan appointed great hands to run the economy including Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and Femi Adeshina because he didn't care about nepotism. He cared about great brains. Unlike this present clueless nepotistic administration that has mostly northern dunderheads at the helms of affair running the country into the ground.

As much as I don't like Buhari, saying he didn't contribute to the emergence of Iweala and Adesina doesn't make sense. If he didn't nominate her, would she have emerged as the Director General? even in 2015, Buhari had to send Atiku to visit African leaders to get them to support Akinwumi Adesina. I doubt if Ngozi and co cav ever say they didn't get the support of the President But then our people have allowed hatred cloud their ways of reasoning

Brother let be truthful, Buhari nominated them. Buhari. Withdrew the first person Nigeria nominated and replaced it with madam beautiful iwela, that was the first thing Egypt tried using against her, they are name replacement was late but Egypt failed. Let give honor to who it's due for even with Buhari flaws.

Of Buhari nominated yaya bello will his CV pass first screening? Yes he nominated her but you only nominate your best that can win on the global level and that's where CV comes in. Why didn't Buhari nominate current minister of finance? Is simple she wouldn't have measured even though she's trying at our level. Forget Buhari if he had a qualified relative he wouldn't have remembered Iweala
