yes,that is because dose beaches are been maintained by the people there, that is why u pay a fee at the entrance of the beach, no body can go to a beach to defecate freely inside the water, beaches are highly maintained because it serves as a tourist attraction and relaxation place that is why the water there looks different from the one underneath 3rd mainland bridge where those people at makoko has turned to their septic tank

imagine going to broad street in the morning, once u are descending the bridge that will lead u to UBA, just look under the bridge, u will see touts defecating comfortably into the water
