Take it easy bro, I was just getting into their heads. These guys can come and glorify LBJ anyhow, so I just wanted to totori them small. The way they were shouting 'blasphemy' was like you're comparing Curry and E payton

I never said LBJ will be forgotten 10 years from now, I said the talks about him will reduce once he retires. He's still active so his stans will always have something to talk about, but 2 years after he retires, everything slows down, everybody begins to see loopholes, stans begin to look for someone to fill his shoes and all that. But what I said is that, 10 years from now, he'll go down the GOAT ranking, believe it or not. I'll remind you

well I thot u were being very serious.
I was actually totoried. LOL

we actually can't tell or predict want 10years would look like.

but I don't see anyone erasing our memories of all bron has done for past 10 to 15seasons.

most great players are unique in their own ways.

Some are even more appreciated&respected as years go by after they retire. e.g Pippen, Iverson, and lots of other ballers.

Lebron's greatness could rise as years go by after retirement.

well what u are doing is called "WISHFUL THINKING" in English Language.

To think he may be forgotten in 10years time.

Could have gotten more, (not saying they would have on the series) if they were healthy in that series..

The way Utah jazz offense is rolling these days is something else.I hope they will bring it on in the postseason when the game slows down and defense gets tighter.
Anyway, they are doing well presently but taking 4 games out of Lakers or clippers in WCF will be hard if everyone is healthy.
I wish the Nets can sort out their defensive rotation and schemes asap.they can outscore anyone any night but do they have championship defense to win the title?Time will tell.

Looking forward to Nets vs LAL/LAC finals

One of the things the Nets have resolved that would help them balance out their offense and in some ways their transition defense is “who plays PG”. Kyrie and the team have agreed that Harden should dictate the pace of the game as PG with Kyrie playing off the ball. Defense would have to be a collective effort especially when all 3 are on the court at the same time.

The Jazz would have to play this way into the post season to convince me. I have seen this sort of form amount to nothing in the past. Like I said earlier, I am worried they have peaked way too early. They would have to stay healthy the rest of the way also.
Re: The NBA Begins by Hustle2flex(m): 7:57pm On Feb 18, 2021
Harden I think is a better point guard and with Kyrie a better finisher,it will free up KD to match up to their opponent's best player.KD when locked in is a very good perimeter defender due to his length and wingspan.
Yet he is likely to be the Nets fail safe when they will need buckets in the postseason due to the fact he can score on anyone.
As for jazz,I have this feeling they are just like the bucks of past two seasons. This is NBA and soon enough they will be figured out and when the rotation gets shorter in playoffs, can there too players maintain the same place?we will see.

The problems Bucks have is that they haven't really surrounded Gannis with top players (only Middleton) is up to grade and secondly allowing Gannis to be the go-to guy in crunch time when he is terrible at FT and 3 point shooting.Their coach needs to trust Middleton more during these period in close games. He can't always bully his way to the paint all the time.

I only pray that key players remain fit for playoffs.
I haven't forgotten the high level of play in 2016 playoffs.

KD has been a very good defender for a while now especially perimeter defense like you alluded to. He has also improved his rebounding and low post defense. More importantly, last season’s layoff/ injury has not slowed him down on defense and that’s a good thing to watch. KD’s usage on offense in any team is largely determined by KD himself. He can be selfless and also knows when to take over a game. Kyrie playing off the ball is the best cos like you mentioned he a better finisher going to the rim. The added advantage of having Harden play

I would have been more comfortable with the Jazz if this run was happening after the All Star games or towards the end of the season. The Bucks are doing the only thing they can at this point. Remember, they just paid, Giannis and had previously paid Middleton..There is not enough money to build a super team around Gianis/ Middleton. You have to remember, the Bucks are still a small market team. That being said, the court strategy come post season has to change if the Bucks stand any chance of a chip. I have said this for 3 consecutive seasons. You can bully your way to the bucket in the regular season but the post season is different because it is pretty much a half court game and the game slows down. Teams know they just have to build a vertical wall at an approaching Giannis and if he goes to the line, they will take their chances because of his FT%.
Re: The NBA Begins by Hustle2flex(m): 8:23pm On Feb 18, 2021
It's really going to be an interesting playoffs this season.Nets will need a good center that bother likes of Embiid if they match up but it won't matter if harden and Kyrie gets hot from downtown and KD cooking from mid range.
It still comes down to defensive discipline they have worked on in regular season.

Lakers and clippers WCF needs to happen this season.I don't know why Lakers didn't retain Rondo,he is a beast in playoffs.i hope AD will shake off his injuries wahala and be in good shape.
Finally happy to see Devin Booker's efforts yielding good results.i don't know what Beal is wasting his prime years at Wizards. His partnership with the walking triple double monster will not work out unless they have assets to trade for and get a 3rd superstar.i wish he would join my beloved warriors team and with Klay back next year,we will be in championship conversation again.
Can't wait for the knockouts.interesting match ups loading.

Say what you want about Harden but few players can carry a team in the regular season like that guy. The fact that they have sorted the PG/SG roles so quickly is a pointer that the team is headed in the right direction. Because Harden can average 12 assists a game in his sleep with that lineup. Of course defenses will tighten up in the playoffs but you're definitely going to have to budget 120-130 a night to beat that team

I wasn't really impressed with the Nets signing Harden because I thought it would be a clash because he's also a 3pointer like KD. I thought both would be fighting to have the ball.

I like how they are now but I'm not optimistic about them being too dangerous in the Playoffs.

Harden has made the most sacrifice since the trade and its because he is the one who needs this chip most. This is not about winning regular season games for the “Beard”, this is about winning everything and he understands that. I have been impressed by his play and discipline as he gets his body conditioning back.

They may just have to figure out that defense themselves because neither Nash nor MDA inspire confidence in that department.

As a Lebron fan, this actually killed me.

I was hoping there would be a continuous back and forth about who was going to be the point guard and disrupt the Nets locker room. grin grin

I’m not going to lie, I’ve been extremely impressed with James harden.

After all the dribble dribble dribble narrative,

He’s willing to sacrifice, get people involved and can still go get you 40 or 50 if you need him to.

He’s really a joy to watch at the PG position.

However, when it comes to the playoffs and the frauds have been separated,

Lakers in 5. . . . wink

It’s official!!!!!

I am leading a one man protest against the NBA for excluding Jaylen Brown (JB) from the starting 5 of the Eastern Conference All Star team angry I will not condone this open robbery for a 2nd season!!! They did this crap last season when he should have made the bench!! Now his starting position was not accorded!!!

What rubbish!!!!! They can placate me by having JB, Tatum and Kemba on the bench.. but I am still heading to the NBA headquarters to protest this. Please no one should ask me “ Who should they remove”? (I mean, except the #Slimreaper) I don’t care!! I could care less if JB and Tatum were the only representatives from the Eastern Conference!!

You are right 100%.
His sacrifice is paying off plus he's better than KD defensively. KD is a better scorer too, so I think he did his calculations before he made the switch.

I'm surprised at Harden's transformation though. It was so fast.

How did he do that?

grin it's not about any transformation, he needs a chip badly and has got to make the sacrifice if he wants to cement his legacy as one of the best in this generation. That being said don't be fooled by the regular season yes they balling but of they don't shore up their defense a disciplined team like Miami could route them in the first round. The playoffs are a different ball game entirely.
DeAndre Jordan is not what he used to be when he was with the clippers, he's injury prone now, if he gets injured who starts at their Centre? For the bucks I'm happy they having this losses in the regular season let them figure things out now, if coach Bud has to go then so be it the team needs some tweaks.. Di vincenzo shouldn't be a starter in my opinion he's better coming From the bench... They need a better shooting guard if they could trade for Bradley Beal omo I'll pick the bucks over the Nets from the east.

Bradley Beal finally getting the respect he deserves. Some people here told me Klay Thompson was better than him. It's amazing how we always mistake good shooting for good all-round player. It's just like comparing KD to LeBron. We know KD can shoot lights out, but he'll never be a better player than LeBron in this league.

Now all Beal needs is to go team up with a legit superstar to get a shot at the championship.

I understand the playoffs will be tougher but one thing I know is that if they can maintain theur rhythm, they can figure out the defense.

Miami would still need to budget about 100 points for the bets.

As for the Bucks, they are good but they've been figured out for now.
