The midfielders can't get the ball to her she had drop deep and wide on many occasions she also did a lot pressing today and provide the assist for the goal

Yes but Desire Oparanozie playing the no.9 isn't thesame as Oshoala Playing it.. There's a Big different
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by CoolJulian: 9:23pm On Feb 20, 2021
There wasn't synergy BTW the midfielders and attackers, Asisat Oshoala does not seem like a proper no 9 - her performance has been below par thus far, the team, as a whole, need to be decisive; most time, they'd just hold unto the ball, not knowing what to do, by the time they act, their opponents have them figured out already.

Oparanozie has been disappointing too, she's the slowest of all the attackers, but she brings some great 'set piece' skills.

Oparanozie win long balls(aerial), receive passes and retain possession of the ball with her back to goal as teammates advance up the field better than Asisat Oshoala even at her low form talkless of now that she's inform., Asisat can't provide the kind of depth Oparanozie brings to the team upfront (No.9)..

Oshoala need to drop her Big girl game too and play the way she was known for..

No make me laugh o! She started well, that, am not disputing, but she's seriously regressed.. All these attributes you've ascribed to her, what has she achieved with them - i mean, how could she be all these but remain largely unknown both on the continent and world stage, without awards whatsoever? She needs to learn to keep fit, and improve.

The bolded is the main problem with Desire... Her fitness is the major issue.

She's unknown to u because u are a casual. She has been tearing up the French league since the word go. She just had a 3 assist game not too long ago and she scores every other week.

Don't you think that this, 'tearing up the French league' is an overstatement?

The SF dominated the play from start to finish, registering double figures in shots on goal. 85% of the game was played in the Uzbekistan half because the SF were very effective, especially in the first half, in deploying a high-press strategy on the Uzbeks.

Lol grin I don't know about 9 goals but they will score goals today an African side will not be able to soak pressures and maintain their defensive shape like the russians and the Uzbeks did
