One man is the sole owner of a grant worth billions of dollar meant for Nigerians? Chai. A private citizen. Grant from what source? Who are those foolish enough to make a nonentity the sole owner of a grant worth billions of dollars? Haba

So what if the so-called telex copy is destroyed by the now angry "unfaithfuls"? What happens? No disbursement again?

So CBN will transfer money to Elomama with no efficient database, expertise etc to share money to Nigerians, essentially telling him to function as a bank? Meanwhile the same CBN uses banks for the present loans and grants it's giving out.

Nigeria, Nigeria, Nigeria. How many times did I call you? Your problems are looking insuperable.

You lie to Nigerians, but forgot that there are people that will never buy your lies. That's TELPECON for you.

Beneficiaries will now have to wait for a copy of an official letter, before they are credited. What kind of organisation is that?

More so, who still uses that technology in sending and receiving information?

Fax and SWIFT are the two notable methods for financial transfers of that magnitude. Telex that fell out of use decades ago.

So one "telex copy" now will determine disbursement? Hahaha gringringrin

No wonder one CBN governor once said Nigerian graduates are unemployable. gringringrin

They (Nigerians graduates), or a majority, are also ineducable, which is paradoxical when you consider that they are uni graduates.

Good question! You see as young as l am, know a lot about grant and the reason is not far- fetched cos l am an undergraduate studying course related to it. Telpecon is a form networking to allow for NGOs not to resort to duplication and strengthen their proposal having a lot of database to proof to it donor. Having said this, they've been to surmount any spirit of power greediness, and aside that, a network of NGOs must have a leader, so donor entrusting this grant in his hands shouldn't be a problem, sir.

I respect people's opinions, hope and aspirations. l hope it comes to past.

A lot has been said about TELPECON since 2016.

Donors (aka beneficiaries) ruminate on this before you sleep:

Last year, Elomama himself said everything was ready and he was just waiting for CBN to credit their account.( if in doubt, get his old voice notes.) In other words, everything concerning paperwork had been done.

Now, why is one obscure Telex copy causing delay again?

The money is with CBN presently but there are documents needed for the chairman to make a thoughtful plans as regarding disbursement! Mind you, we've been told to make a physical visitation to CBN most especially department handling grants to verify. According to him he was sideline at a point having spent so much personal money. so once he retrieve this document back, disbursement kick-starts.

Didn't you claim last month that CBN has already released the funds?

Was the audio money returned back to CBN? grin cheesy grin grin

Lolz... l be elomama na. And you want them to reel out the bottleneck just like that?? Commonsense! And now that we know, either is with CBN or Telpecon, the crux of the matter is that where the grant is deposited has been substantiated and no problem accessing it!

**I am ever willing to learn; but I'm allergic to nonsense.

**Who are these organisations that award grants? Please give the names for this TELPECON grants.

**Has CBN come out to tell you it has any money? Money that is for Nigerians, yet CBN never told you at any point in time to go register with any body for any chimerical grant? . Does it not bother you that CBN never did this?In fact, it has released statements to deny this grant.

**You must have the keys to the vaults over there for you to know your audio money is with them. Have you or ur ilk visited the so-called "grant section" of CBN to confirm anything?

**Your Elomama was already waiting for disbursement from CBN last year, but why is he now looking for one TELEX gringrin copy?

Young man, when you are bursted in one lie, you either keep quiet or apologize. A month ago, you claimed TELEPECON has been credited. Now you are saying the "money" is with CBN. I don't know what course you are studying that is related to grant but your knowledge is limited on this particular grant. 2018, CBN refuted claims that they are with any grant money. Three years after you lot still claim CBN is with the money. Una mumu never do?

Since when has our educational system has been bedeviled with all sorts of problems, Mr man, what has been your singular contribution thus far to your alma-mater??, has anything viable ever come from a person like you to ameliorate the sufferings of the disadvantaged in your society let alone your local community?? You claim to have much knowledge on grants based on your experience and education background. Pls enlighten me, does poor supposed beneficiaries require to pay money for grants, and cite examples of such successful grants? And what was the basis of the qualification of this grant, is it just by paying the money requested?

Not all. You don't request money from beneficiaries cos grants are there to solve problems!

The qualification of any NGO to be awarded grant lies with their interest that must be in tandem with that of the donor! Mind you, a strong proposal would have been submitted to the organization giving out the grant.

At least my Alma mater can rest assured I am not disgracing them. How well do you know me to say I am not contributing to my Alma mater

So applying for spurious grant is how you plan to help the poor?

If you know what is called risk, you will be investing in shares, bonds, futures, etc., not running around and calling your ignorance-induced activity risk-taking.

Exactly. Normally, from what I'm aware of, grants are applied for using proposals which are screened to ensure they meet up with the requirements. Beneficiaries are not qualified just by paying a sum, and not everyone can usually access grants. But this one seems to be open everybody.

Better personality displaying the gentlemanliness in him! Sir, grants can only be accessed by NGOs or any other organisations, academic institutions for research projects just like l said before that it must sooth the taste or standards of the donor. ln most cases grants are awarded for community development projects from either the govt, multinational organizations etc.. So grant are not awarded to individuals but an entity for the execution or implementation of a solution to an already identified problems such as poverty level in the developing countries like ours. Mind you, any project proposed, there must be goals on the long run intended to be achieved which must reflect a Change in the lives of the people!
