Are you tired of buying fake branded electronics like Tvs, Microwaves, Washing machines, etc both online and offline?

Do you want to get value for money spent on these electronics?

Values like: Warranty, Swift Customer service experience, etc. Nothing to worry about any longer.

I procure original household appliances and electronics that meets your every need.

Delivery : Lagos takes 1-2days. Outside Lagos: 3-5days. WhatsApp: 08125667454.

I agree with not shopping if you are not in Lagos. I recall ordering for a Gold Coloured laptop and getting a red coloured one and because I waited for so long I couldn't even ask for refund or send it back. Less than a year, touchscreen started malfunctioning and hinges broke. The same thing with my Redmi Note 3.

I think sellers, in a manner typical of the average Nigerian criminal, gambles on things sent outside Lagos because they know returning is usually hard. It is not often easy to return a product because of a minor variation in the features if you waited seven days or more to get it.

I recall asking Jumia to improve on product verification. It makes no sense that someone will order a Gold coloured laptop and when seller brings any package, jumia/Konga do nothing to check it. What did I do? Simple. I left. I can't buy anything in any Nigerian online store anymore. I rather go to ShopRite or any established physical store to get it.

I understand how you feel about the prevailing menace of substandard items bought online.

Online shopping experience should be smooth and easy, not tiring and exhausting.

they don't allow vendors access to customer contact. The vendor may have called you to inform you the red wasn't available if he had the chance. If he/she didn't ship the item, jumia would have penalized the store... they're very mean to vendors so I guess the vendor did what was necessary.
Then I pity them. I'm done with them and I advise people around me to be wary. As our number grow it's either they take correction or they are screwed.
Re: Avoid Jumia If You're Shopping Outside Lagos by MackIV(m): 12:29pm On Feb 21, 2021
NnamdiN:
you probably wouldn't understand. FYI most vendors don't own the items they upload on the platform, and so will only know it's out of stock when they go to purchase it. On konga you simply call the customer and inform them, sometimes they ask for alternatives or outright cancelation(win win)
You also aware people buy items on jumia, use it as they like and return it to the vendor, jumia refunds them and most of the time without compensation to the vendors, they deserve that too?

I sell on jumia and I am being as objective as possible, jumia doesn't give 2 efs about its vendors because new ones abound .
Thanks for the explanation You couldn't have said it any better, as a former Jumia Customer Service now Vendor on both Jumia/Konga.
NEROSKY:

I think have been shopping before you know about internet, you lack comprehension in English - is jumia not konga mate that used 3 days days to deliver item while jumia uses 7 days or more.

Unlike before All this st*p*d irate customer insult CS Agent, now I give it back to you guys hot hot, oga Agbaya that having using internet before his ancestors, you didn't see Jumia Express to use or Read their (Jumia) SLA, if you are not comfortable with them, you bounce.

You dont compare Jumia and Konga, they are not mate. I barely sell on konga, but sell a very huge number on jumia weekly than Konga in a Year.

So sorry about the experience, when next you decide to shop again, please check Seller Ratings, Fulfillment and Quality, Reviews and Ratings.

PS: I'm not holding brief for Jumia. If you reply reasonably, I reply reasonably and vice versa.

Pious101 Gracias, for the below explanation

You just missed the point, read again to comprehend
U re d one who obviously missed the point let me elaborate
First, Jumia does not have a DHL service which is quite expensive
Secondly, To reduce shipping cost Jumia would have to collate all order going to d same location at a given time. So don't expect when someone in portharcourt order for one item it would just be sent from Lagos. Jumia are in business and they would fold up should they send d items individually. Between u and I, the average shipping fee from Lagos to portharcourt is 2000-3000 but jumia does same for 800-1000 depending ur choice of pick up.
Imagine someone buying an item of 2000 naira and using about 3000-4000k to ship it. That would be the case of DHL
So the question again, how many people do u think would order from jumia if their shipping fee is expensive as DHL

Would u place an order if jumia should charge u the same shipping fee as DHL?

Is this suppose to be an excuse for inefficiency??

Jumia has delivery duration for almost all products on their website. Now, how would you explain taking delivery for an item that was billed to be delivered in 3 days in 7 days??

I've been at the receiving end of what the OP is talking about.

Which website did you buy the product from China?

NEROSKY:
This is a personal experience, I thought it would be nice I share with you guys.

I bought a product in China via DHL, it took around 4 to 5 days to arrive In Nigeria, Bought something that same time from Jumia, it took 7 or so days to get to me, and kept wondering why should something sold within Nigeria in this jet age take so much time to arrive, I even called to ask why and they kept to their national anthem "sorry for inconveniences" . Now an item I bought from Konga 3 days ago arrived today, I was like this is how is supposed to be. Jumia has been annoying and they have refused to improve - been shopping from Jumia & konga since 2015 or so.

share ur experience.

well am not jumia agent but someone who have been a user for years. This is base on my perception about their activities n not to make excuses for their perceived inefficiency. I don't know if jumia are that specific on when items would be delivered but from what I seen so far they state it to be between 3-7 or 5-7 days depending on location.

Sometimes I despair about the way Nigerians think. It takes years to grow a business and reputation which can be destroyed with a thoughtless post. You should not use one instance to judge a company but use their records over a reasonable period of time to measure their service delivery.I ordered a TV from Jumia express and got it next day in abeokuta. I order from both Jumia and konga and Jumia delivers faster. It all depends on the seller, I ordered a washing machine from Jumia and waited six days but the machine was not despatched so I ordered from Jumia again but with a different seller and got the machine the third day. The previous one which I cancelled came two days later and I rejected it.

I made an order and payed on 2nd Feb and cancelled order on 20th of Feb...
They are yet to refund me... Asked me to wait for 15 days to get my refund.... I think konga is better by far...
Re: Avoid Jumia If You're Shopping Outside Lagos by zamth3ripp3r: 6:45pm On Feb 21, 2021
I prefer konga; I usually get what I ordered under 4days, if you notice jumia changed most of their goods to "shipped from abroad".... Items that they have in stock here in Nigeria!!!

Firstly, you didn't mention the state you are in, only to start castigating the company. Also, if you had gone through the jumia website very well, You'd have seen the their delivery timelines for each region and state in Nigeria.

@ OP answer this question

Thirdly, most customers would give very vague directions/addresses or would put an address and would want item to be delivered elsewhere.

Yes they have their demerits too.

See below

Bros, u are just defending jumia because the issue is beyond address.
let me tell u some of my personal exprience.
1) I ordered for 15 pieces of cotton boxer xxxl, after waiting for almost 10days, i got nylon boxer with xxxl boldly written on it yet the boxer size is medium.
2) I prefer to pick up my goods at collection centre because jumia delivery agent likes to call at odd hours when u are at work but that choice is even worst than the odd hour calls because Jumia will not send message about ur goods arrival and will not update ur order status. The only thing u will recieve or see is that ur order has been canceled.
3) The girl at my collection centre( kubwa) normally comes to office at her own time, she comes around 9 am or 10am and closes around 2pm or 3pm some times, imagine u are rushing from office only to see that she has closed or rushing to jumia on ur way to office in the morning only to see that she is not in the office yet.

Jumia needs better coordination and management.
Even ordinary Nipost dey communicate well pass jumia.

In life there are exceptions. In my experience Jumia is a lot faster than konga in abeokuta.,in fact the official delivery time frame is 100 percent longer than jumia's.Badmouthing somebody's business for flimsy reasons is not good.

I cannot advice my enemies to shop from Jumia I'll rather use AliExpress and wait that 3weeks not after what they did to me.

But just recently I checked there site for Blackshark 3 but unfortunately I saw blackshark 2 and it sells for 300k plus something that Blackshark 3 is 160k plus on AliExpress?
