i remember when i was a security guard at Igbogbi, one of my Colleague who normally clock by 2am went to the Morgue to do the needful only for we to start searching for not knowing that the process he was passing the Morgue area may be spirit were playing out side he match them pass or the clock he wanted to clock was disturbing them, to cut story short we just saw him pouring spit from his mouth and his neck not staright, even he couldnt speak a word, twas the next day the mortuary attendant came to tell us that may be he mistakenly disturb the spirit when the spiorit was busy doing something serious, i shock, till today the guy na slowpoke

Surely it can't be hard believing such cock and bull stories about Nigerian dead people acting out after being dead.

Funny how the same dead people can't channel the same powers into bringing themselves back to life. Instead, they're always bothered about food or stopping a moving vehicle or slapping someone who entered corpse room without knocking.

People who are not used to seeking explanations and doing proper research about anything are always quick to make assumptions about unrelated incidents and tag them supernatural.

Till date, it's usually, "they said" "someone told me" "vehicle stopped" bla bla bla bla bla'.

Here is my own story too. My dad died some fourteen years ago and was kept in a mortuary at LAUTECH Teaching hospital in Osogbo. We did visit the place from time to time. After three weeks we went there to carry the corpse. I then began to ask one of the morticians there what they normally faced working in a place like that. He said nothing. I asked him about all what you people have been saying, he said he said there was nothing like that. He however said the only thing he could say was that a lady called Hadijat died and was kept in their mortuary and after some days her family members came. They said she has been disturbing the house scattering everything. They shouted on her and warned her never to do such things again.(They stood by her corpse) The second thing he said was that there was a man who died on okada he was brought to the same place. After some days his family came to complain that the dead body was disturbing the house . That they used to hear strange sounds etc. The morticians went to the corpse and saw that the head was cut off and placed separately. He then took the head and laid it on the neck where it was supposed to be and since then they did not come to complain again.
The last one I want to say happened in 2018 June. My friend's mother died and we were taking her home from the mortuary in Osun state to Kwara state.At at a point the ambulance has flat tire and the driver was talking rubbish. He said mama wanted one of her children to sit in the ambulance. My friend was angry with the driver . We took the tyre to a vulcanizer and we discovered that the area around the valve of the tyre was bad. We changed it and we moved on.
That was just what I can say but I am not really convinced.

My mom died in 2013 and I never even smelt her presence when I'm alone and I never had a dream of her... Despite being alone all the moments of my life. Sometimes I imagine and talk out loud when I'm alone in my room maybe she could hear e and givee a sign but it has never happened. I stopped believing in all these black people mentality.. God is my witness, when my dad died I was twenty years old then. His ghost came to where I was sleeping in the boys quarters of our building a little far from main building. That was 90s. He tapped me and called me by my first name and said wo, moti lo oo..

Everything was so clear and audible. Immediately after that events, I woke up, after 5 mins while still thinking what kind of dream is this, my mum came to knock that my dad is not breathing again. Same thing happened to some of my brothers and sisters else where that night..

And that was it.There are spiritual forces that is beyond human understandin.

You were dreaming. Ppl tend to dream about what bothers them. You had fears of your father passing away hence why it crept up into your dreams.

We used to go in sometimes to receive chill air, the only problem was the stench of chloroform which got in our eyes. Some dead bodies do twitch ie little muscle movementss. This isn't spirit bla bla bla...infact chickens and goats do same when slain. The human brain may be dead but sometimes there's still little life in the muscles and some organs. I NEVER saw walking dead movie scenarios and zombies loooollll. Black men and stupidity shaa. .... Look at all these useless stories lol...do they also knock in the west? Ok oyibo dead bodies don't do all that loooooil...dumb ppl

I remember when I lost my dad in the 90s , and we took him to Benin city(den of principalities then) And it was time for my mum to bath naked in a stream by 1am in the night. The elders (Odionwere) told me to keep my eyes shut and cover my ears, that its time for the spirits to roam. I was barely 10years old and I grew up in the north and a Christian home, so these events sounded strange to me, but what struck me to this very moment as an adult, was when the elders that were allowed to not close their eyes , started talking about what they saw( mind you they didn't know I could understand Bini wella) , they said they saw a woman with one leg, and her baby on her back hopping, also they saw my dad and he told them who was responsible for his illness that led to his death and other things a 10year old shouldn't have heard . My point is this world is more spiritual than even physical. For those that feel western corpse don't disturb, try and see this movie 'Autopsy of Jane doe' its a movie but it changed my mindset about oyinbo dead bodies.

My dad passed on around 10AM on November 1st 2019 and I took his corpse to the mortuary that day.

He was buried on 22nd of same month and I was in the village the whole time so this made me to frequent the mortuary to check on him.

There was this corpse, dry like a fish that was in a room close to where my dad was. He was on the bare floor[like many other dry corpses] but he had a huge stone on his Chest.

I asked the guy in charge why they placed a stone on him and he replied "to keep him one place, he's very troublesome"
