I believe warri airport is not functioning because its not viable. Not enough planes land there to make it viable. Ever since Shell left Warri, the activities in that town have died down considerably.

If Okowa deserves applause, it is for good road as even villages have good roads even for people like us visiting there for the first time, I was impressed.
If I want to understand his government, he feels there is need for private bodies running such enterprises ( eg Delta line which he sold to an Igbo firm since they know business and can run it better) with government have sone percentage ( stake) of it.
Anyway, so far it is well run and not so expensive ( fares).
If Nigeria had concessioned its refinery, maybe it would have been better sending it out to be refined and importing it.
Okowa can do more though. I like his love for peace and peaceful body language which transcends to how he governs the State( maturely& fatherly).
