Some years ago when I got a new job, I decided to pay tithe from the money I had previously saved, even before I received salary. That month my salary was delayed. Others were even paid before me. THEN I QUIT TITHES. 3 years later, a spiritual head/pastoress prayed for me and boom! I received letter of promotion and salary increase the following week. I also received a letter stating that my owed bonuses would be paid in installments. When the first bonus installment hit my account, I quickly went and paid my tithe to the pastoress. She also said that all my remaining arrears would be paid. But I never received this payment of arrears. I got a new job and finally resigned. I never tithed again. 2-3 years later it is February/March 2020. I finally decided to be paying tithes again and what happened? CORONAVIRUS, LOCKDOWN, etc. I decided that tithing wasn't necessary! Recently in my new church, the pastor has always been hammering on tithing, saying that I can't partake of God's blessings if I don't pay tithe. I knew he was referring to me because I'm the only one who doesn't come out for tithing, although I still give and make contributions in the church. Now my questions (has issue of tithing been over-flogged) ? DOES NON PAYING OF TITHE PREVENT BELIEVERS FROM RECEIVING GOD'S BLESSINGS? IS IT MANDATORY FOR CHRISTIANS TO TITHE? (I always think its not since the early apostles didn't say anything about it. I may be wrong though) WHY DO PEOPLE WHO PAY TITHE STILL STRUGGLE IN THEIR DAILY LIFE? |

I have a question!!! please what's the difference between paying tithes and sowing seeds in today's church. |

Paying of tithe is something the Holy Spirit should lead you into. Like me, I like paying tithe ; and each time I pay, God has been faithful in meeting my needs. So my dear brother, just let the Spirit of God lead. And if you feel compelled, go ahead and pay. Peace 1 Like |

OfeAchi: What about offerings? cos the church I attended today we payed tithe, different types of offerings and lastly sowing of seeds twice. |

LIEEEES!!!! Please someone should point out an example of one gentile believer in the New Testament that practiced tithing in the early church. Una no wan get sense this 2021 abi? |
