Just recently, I discovered that a lot of people in my street have occult altars in their homes. I'm talking about yahoo boys in their 20s. one of the fools arranged empty bottles of dry gin around a tree in his compound and his fellow animals are hailing him. and they are proud of it.

if evil people can be doing this, I think it's only right that I do my own for God.
I need insight from enlightened Christians here. What are the steps to follow in creating a holy altar in my house? a place where I can feel God's power.

You can do it the old Israelite’s way by reading the books of Genesis and Leviticus.

Or the new generation way by visiting your neighborhood church to ask any of the pastors or shepherds.

What you're looking for elsewhere, is already with you right where you are. Your body is the altar you need for that purpose.

All you need to do is to make it to become the kind of place God would love to be, just like it is in heaven where His Will is done, and He'd be there with you just as He is in heaven.

if my body is an altar, how then do I offer sacrifice? because me I want to start sacrifices. I'm seeing a lot of evil in my area. not joking

See your heart as the altar you need. Depending on your church, you can start a fellowship in your own house.

You create a prayer altar in your heart, I dunno about you but I am a walking altar, my altar is not physical, its highly spiritual, I have prayed in my room for a long time, it so easy to connect in prayer there, whenever I pray there, also anything that comes to attack me in that room will meet its untimely demise by the power of the holy ghost.

My sacrifice is praise, worship and Thanksgiving, it rises as an incense to God, a sweet smelling savor, I don't need to kill animal or human, our Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for us, that is the highest of all sacrifices.

By this definition then your altar needs to be your body being presented holy as a sacrifice unto God through Christ Jesus who dwells in you.


John.14.23 - Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.



Read Jeremiah 10:8b, 15, Isaiah 41:24.
Read the Books of the Prophets of old to get prayer points. Do same also from Scriptures from the NT.
Being a Christian is based on practicality. You can only achieve that when you understand the Word and apply it to your circumstance.

As a believer and born again desire the dwelling/in filling of the Holy Spirit.
By studying God's word and meditating on it you build a foundation base.
Engage in fasting/prayer to build your spirit. Do it right. Sing praise and worship songs. Ensure your heart and intentions are right.
In the morning/night pray and make certain declarations/decrees in the name of Jesus.

Seek spiritual discernment and be mindful of things.

As I said earlier, you don't need anything else but yourself if you really want to this for God and not just because of what the evil people in your area were doing.

You are the sacrifice and everything else you're seeking to offer to God. Offer yourself to God and tell Him use you for His own glory and purpose.

Have you finished executing the 46 commandments that Jesus Christ gave you and done the works that He instructed you do during your time here on earty, for you believe that constructing an altar in His name is what is left for you to do?

How can anyone believe that building an altar to own who told you He does not need one is the right thing to do?

So because the Israelites means you Gentiles should do the same?

Do you worship the Israelites or Do you worship God? Did God inform you anywhere through Jesus Christ that an altar is what God needs from you?
