How much does POS Agent make daily?

For every business journey, it is often right and expected that you ask to know the benefits which is often measured monetarily. Having said this, i know you really want to know how much a POS Agent makes on a daily Basis.
Well, as a POS agent, i must make you understand that a your income comes from every customer that transacts a business through the pos. This might include cash withdrawals, Deposits, Payment of utility Bills, etc

In Nigeria today, you as an oPay POS Agent could make up to N1000 per transaction depending on the amount of cash your customer withdraws from the POS.

Remember that the smallest amount of cash you can make per transaction is NGN100. This depends on the class of people in the area where your outlet is located

This means having 100 transactions daily guarantees some NGN5000 and even more.

Making NGN5000 on a daily basis means your monthly income is somewhere between NGN120,000 to NGN150,000 (If you work on Sundays)

Work for someone first then get the experience b4 setting up your own.

Some people do Pos business in a big way and make money than salary earner , not those Pos stand that won’t be able to give u 100k cash when you need them .
My wife is a graduate and that’s her business, at times I do transfer 400 ,300k from my gt agency account that charge 10naira and do u know how much she’s gonna collect for that .
She goes to shop with more than 400k cash daily and she will finish it b4 4pm and she will call me to help her with cash from my own shop .
If you want to earn big you will start big that’s all .

Opay in Benin City and we register propsective agents for free POS machines. Opay will give you a free POS terminal on the payment of a 20k caution fee, but you have to meet the following terms and conditions.

on downloading and registering on the Opay app, you will be upgrade to an Agent level when you provide you BVN, Passport photograph, Utility Bill and a Federal Govt Issued ID card. then you have one month to meet a target of one million bank transfers.

as soon as you meet that, you will be called to come collect your POS machine and in the office, you will be shown how to make the caution fee.

other ways, you can get the POS is doing 200k bank transfers with the app within 5 days in 30 transfers or if you have an existing POS stand before, maybe from Kudi, Firstmonie or other banks, you will be required to bring your statement of account which must not be less than 3million naira (in total - deposits and withdrawals). your POS will be given to you within two weeks.

Now here are the charges from Opay:
deposits, Opay will charge you 10 naira.
withdrawals, Opay will charge 0.7% of the amount being withdrawn.
This is irrespective of what you charge your customers.

In addition ,I want to congratulate you for the opportunity to work in a financial system in this case lower pyramid. Working in this type of business you need to be smart and pay attention to detail more especially record keeping.

-One of the risk you're going to face is shortage after reconciliation for the day.
1. Always write down cash at hand and know your opening e wallet balance at the beginning of every day's sales

Every Pos has automatic print out and you will see what you withdraw and you will check you Acct and see if the money is added b4 paying out .
Every busness have risk but this one you mentioned is highly impossible in Pos busness .
If you can’t take risk Then u can’t run a large business

A customer wants to withdraw 200k and gives the pos attendant his ATM card and the pos attendant presses 200 naira on the machine instead of 200,000 thousand, now what will happen? 200 naira will be debited from the customer's account and the pos attendant now goes ahead to pay the customer 200k. That's shortage of 199,800 naira.
I have seen where pos attendant withrew 4k from customer's account and paid the customer 40k, 5k withrawn 50k paid, 1k withdrawn 10k paid e.t.c.

I started this business ..now with 6 pos points without at traning
