it is a disease, worse for a man who starts to wine & dine with the people he once condemned, his sight & insight are clouded,almost to a state of blindness like a woman in love(love is blind). It makes a man to fall in love with his enemies & starts to hate his loved ones. Most politicians in naija have this disease,that's y u have buhari & bakare, osoba & amosun, et al. It also explains y tinunbu & mimiko are at war now. The romance btw tinunbu & ribadu doesn't change tinunbu status as a thief, it also doesn't make ribadu less a saint but it proves that a saint & a thief can come together to achieve a political aim (at least in naija) which in this case is to remove dishonorable thieves from power and replace them with honorable thieves, I.e, remove wolves in wolves clothing and replace with wolves in sheep's clothing.

Progressive Change could mean 8 - 10 years? The Nigerians I know what immediate change. Magical kind of change, nothing progressive. Thats why within 10 months, they will ask you what have you done to fix electricity, un employment, security, etc.

We want instant change, we cant wait for anything progressive. Nigerians will roast you after only one year in office. Nigerians, vote wisely.

THE Federal Government through the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), has so far recovered a whopping N68 billion after a critical review of costs of projects submitted by contractors to Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) in the 2010 budget.

BPP’s Director-General, Emeka Eze, who disclosed this to newsmen at the retreat organised for permanent secretaries in Lagos at the weekend, pointed out that the activities of the bureau had been able to block financial leakages, thereby saving money for the government stressing that since the BPP otherwise known as due process, came on board 10 years ago, it had so far achieved 70 per cent success in the implementation of procurement reforms in the country.

Eze noted that the retreat for permanent secretaries which BPE began last year was quite strategic, stating that as the heads of the various MDAs, they were important in budget planning, implementation and procurement processes.

“The challenge is that with a new change of guard, especially at the political level, we need to begin to educate them more and more. As for the public system, everybody is almost attuned to it. But the very important stakeholders that will make the system work are the political bosses and we must continuously educate them,” he stated.

To enhance its activities, the BPP Director-General disclosed that apart from setting up a legal framework which is at the level of fine tuning, the bureau has developed in-house software to quicken procurement planning process.

“We have set up a legal framework. We are at the level of fine tuning the implementation. Besides, we have developed in-house software,” the BPP boss added.

Lets with one voice ask for the prosecution and probe of Tinubu while in the Lagos government house for 8 years. If Ibori is suffering and Bode George came out of jail, why is Tinubu a free man? He must be a saint?

I am sure Tinubu, the ACN leader, who ruled Lagos State for 8 years, stole more money than Bode George, Ibori, Igbinedion, Fayose and all others combined.

Why is Tinubu being celebrated in the SW and by ACN? Why is he different from Ibori, Igbinedion, Alayemesigha, Fayose, etc? I need serious answers to this question.
