Please do anyone know a lawyer that can help fast track and annul a marriage as a friend’s spouse refuse to do PCC and claim continue with the application. The marriage isn’t up to a month old. They got married mainly because of relocating together
I can’t help but wonder why most of your post has “your friend”, maybe it’s time to tell your friends to come learn from the thread. The spouse seems to be in a fix with the law than they are letting out. Annulment takes a whole lot, you have to prove that you were deceived into the marriage. Maybe talk to the lawyer about a legal separation or something.

Good day, for those who select that the work in a government organization, what sort of documentation was required of you to fill?
If you are filling this in your personal history, you are to select employment. That government thingy is for those who hold public offices. They are different.

Good morning brethren, please for someone with masters in public health and applying as a caregiver which job title/ NOC code and TEER will I choose.
thank you.
Choose the noc that is slated as noc for caregiver. There is no connection to your education when selecting noc. Choose the noc that best suits your JDs as a caregiver.

The reason why they are confused was that her husband never married the lady and also, the lady isn’t willing to give up her child to them. So they are confused if to add the child or not as either ways, the child isn’t accompanying them. They just want to be on the safe side and don’t want anything to ruin their application

Adding a child to your application doesn’t mean she is giving up her child. Add the child as an unaccompanied child please. Do not submit the application without the child because if it takes 20 years to discover that child, whatever status you hold in that 20 years can be revoked.

Good afternoon everyone, please I'm a bit confused. I got ITA from Quebec with a band 5 in TEF. I was patiently waiting for Manitoba LAA with a score of 575 but the cut off for last draw was 600. I have until first week of Feb to submit documents for Quebec. I read about their immigration that it may even take up to 2 years before nomination. I'm thinking of declining Quebec and wait for next year manitoba.
It’s been almost a year that you posted this, I can only hope you didn’t because 575 is very far-fetched judging from the Manitoba draws done so far. Also, Quebec no longer takes years to issue CSQ.

Please has anyone been successful at booking Qlife upfront medicals. I’ve tried booking at 8am for the last 3 weeks with no luck and IOM’s dates are too far. Is there anyway around this. Thanks in advance 🙏🏾
You have to book very early in the morning. My friend got a closer date on a Tuesday. As early as 5am please.

Just a note on the bolded text. It is really not a mandatory requirement when applying for citizenship. If you have a post-secondary qualification in English, you will still be eligible. If you can demonstrate that your university or college education was awarded in English language, then you don't need to submit IELTS. I'm a citizen now, so I'm talking from the experience of others that I know that went through this route at the same time as me. I used my EE IELTS but some others that didn't take IELTS during theirs used their degree certificate. It's even written in the list of requirements. Just putting it out there for anyone who is worried about this.
Thank you for the clarification our admirable Newmum0615

Hello Everyone,
I need advice please.
I’m currently doing my pgd in Canada and will be done by December and I want to enter the poll for FSW immediately with my spouse who is in Nigeria.
With he’s education my score is 478.
Please is there a degree certification that’s available for engineering that he can take to boast our score?
Also for POF do I need to show a bank statement even after having a fixed deposit certificate?
I’d also appreciate if I can have a custom list of document that I should have on ground as well as how to improve our score.

Please I need this information. Thank you.

Two or more certificates as a secondary applicant doesn’t make a difference. Depending on the hope for a draw today, a CRS score of 478 is not bad. So if his Bsc alone gives you 478, you are good.

Your reference letter and fixed deposit certificate from the FI will suffice however, prepare for anything as you may be asked for additional document request.

Your husband should consider writing IELTS (my Indian friends will say he should “give” IELTS 😂) if he is yet to take because if he doesn’t write it now, he will still write it at the point of applying for citizenship.

Another way to boost your score is via your Canadian education but December is too far. So work with what you have on ground now.

Hello Nairalanders,

I just got ITA in the last draw. My wedding is coming up ending of next month and I hope to submit my application before the wedding because I applied as a single applicant.
My husband is not accompanying me to Canada yet because he is still running his Msc. In UK.

Please what do you advise?
Can I go ahead and submit my applicant as a single before the wedding takes place?
Submit your application as a single woman, notify them immediately you get married that your status has changed. Failure to do this would be seen as misrepresentation which would be detrimental for you irrespective of the status you hold once discovered.

My advice: Add your spouse to your application after AOR because your score won’t be recalculated and the only thing that would be required of him is medicals and biometrics. He can do a soft landing before his COPR expires and then go back to continue his Msc if he is yet to round up as at then.

Either ways, do not keep your marital status away from them after the wedding. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. May God bless and keep your home.

Same with me. Been in the pool with score of 488. I am yet to get any ITA. Do you know anyone who has got ITA after the surprise draw?

A friend on 488 is yet to get, while a friend on 486 has gotten. It drops in batches, so give it time, you will get it.

The points can always be recalculated before submitting the ITA.
If he includes himself in the application, the point would only be recalculated for the rounds which got him the first ITA in which he wouldn’t be eligible for at 488. The last draw was 490.

Hello house,

Please I have a question. I took the IELTS again...LRSW- 8.5, 7, 7.5, 7. The first time I took the IELTS I got a 6.5 in Listening and 7.5 in the others. My understanding was an improved listening score should improve my CRS points but no change at all when I updated my scores on the application portal there was no change in my CRS score.

Please any advice?
Did you remember to transmit? If yes, give it time, it would regularize itself. Sometimes their website can be very frustrating.

We are Family of 3, we are on 488. I changed the profile to unaccompanied spouse and CRS is now 493. Hopefully we will get ITA today.

My wife is the Principal Applicant.

Can i go ahead and accept the ITA and afterwards, Can my son go with my Wife to Canada using this mode?.
We have stayed long in this Process, we cannot take any chance anymore.

What do you guys advices please?
Should i just go on with the unaccompanying profile or wait for CRS score to drop further?
I hope you were patient enough to leave your profile as it is and get today’s invite. A surprise draw of 484, all programs draw, 7000 invites was done today.

Hey everyone, I just got the results for my IELTS

Listening 9
Reading 8
Writing 7.5
Speaking 8

I already have my ECA completed and I’m wondering if I should apply for a remark of my writing section before creating an EE account. Would this be necessary?
I don’t see you as someone trying to brag, I see a genuinely clueless person which isn’t an excuse too because as said, the right IELTS scores are one of the first things you should research about. However, like others have said, you don’t need to remark your IELTS, you have maxed out. Get into the pool and wait to be invited. On this space, there are some folks here that has never helped anyone here but their sole aim here is to bully others or make them look stupid. And on the few occasions they manage to, they are sarcastic so it’s not every mentions here that you should pay attention to. Whatever resonates with you, take it, whatever doesn’t, discard it like thrash.

Good day guys,
Please do you know of any province where I can get provincial nomination as a branch operations manager. My spouse have her sibling as a PR in Alberta. Please kindly assist
Regards
If you are yet to get into the pool, do every thing required to get into the pool. No one knows the occupation in demand in Alberta till they are invited and we compile the NOCs. Having a sibling in Alberta is an added advantage for you provided they are in need of your primary occupation. You can also start the French classes as nymphomaniac suggested so you can stand a chance at federal level if age is no longer on your side. All the best!

enter the pool for federal skilled workers. Let your spouse try to take the French exam and add to your points. This is on the assumption you guys are above 35yrs respectively. Then apply for Alberta provincial nomination program as well. All the best.
Alberta picks from the pool. So they just need to get into the pool to be noticed by Alberta.

Hello,
Hello,
I played around the score. Gave her work experience to be zero(incase her clinical experience does not count as work experience), her IELTS to be 7 band score and mine also 7 band score. The score came out at 496. Is that good enough?

Her clinical experience should count as long as it is paid and it meets the 40 hours per week requirement.

Hello everyone,

I need help please. Finally wrote IELTS (27/01, CBT) and maxed it so my score is now 502. The problem is I don’t have my TRF from IDP yet so I don’t know what to fill in for “Date of Test Results” in my profile in the pool. I don’t want to miss out on ITA while waiting for the TRF. Is there something I can do?

Note: I don’t know what date the results were released as I didn’t get an email from IDP notifying me of the results. I checked the result portal on the 7th day and the results were there.
Congratulations to you! Don’t they have an online portal like BC where you can get your TRF? 502 is a beautiful score, did you write TEF/TCF?

They did point to a specific point - reasonable evidence of fraud and this is not a generic mail at all. It is highly unlikely that they will make this claim without going through a painstaking investigation. It is incredibly hard to go from a 6.5 to an 8 within a couple of weeks on a language test.
I disagree with the bold, it is very doable with consistent study. The IELTS exam is just about understanding the techniques of passing the exam and we have a lot of online tutors like Liz, Jay etc daily dishing out tips to pass each modules. However, it is not to say that some centres and people don’t dabble in examination fraud. The evidence she seeks from them, they would most likely not provide, for them to cancel the result, they have done thorough investigation and his centre or result was found to be linked to the malpractice.

Deelizabeth93, if your spouse is yet to get a 2 years ban from writing IELTS then he isn’t directly linked to the fraud and he was just unfortunate to write the exam in the compromised Centre. However if he is found to be directly linked, the saga won’t stop at cancellation, it would be followed with a punishment which mostly is a 2 years ban.

So we did a judicial review, paid a lawyer and our case was reopened, they asked us to resubmit the proof of funds and we got approval in November. The MP Route didn’t work out, so we applied for judicial review before deadline.
Congratulations to you once again. May the land favour you all.
