Pls read a more comprehensive history lesson from Wikipedia, stop showing me folklore and fables...that Oduduwa fell from the sky... No, he was actually a man, read here- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benin_Empire

According to Wikipedia, Oduduwa didn't come down from the mountains but rather from the hills (Ora Mountains). He was an emissary from Oke-Ora community in the easternmost part of Ile-ife. He wasn't an exiled prince from a far away land.

Look, you have your traditions and I have mine. I could call yours bullshit and you could do the same to mine.

The Yorubas have genealogy of Oduduwa and the Binis Have their own too. It's better we just stick to what we know rather claiming superiority because, truly, none of us really know. All we have is folklore and stories. There were no documented facts.

Just like religion, you may worship Allah and I may worship Yahweh but none of us will never know which one is the true God. We can only just claim we are worshipping the right one.

But one thing all versions of the story points to is that the Yorubas and Binis have a lot in common.

Have a good day, brother.

What is your point actually... Are u saying the term 'Oba' is a Yoruba word?... let me Enlighten you a bit, the name changing from the Ogiso title to Oba title, is just change in the description of the stool, the throne of the Benin Empire, it has nothing to do with where Oduduwa is from, pls your argument is baseless and really shallow.

Kingdoms all over the world, change the name of the throne, like the Victorian era, then Elizabeth... This is just change of names that several factors can cause to happen...so your point is weak, cos Oba is not a word owned by the Yoruba.

Chairman, your claims are wrong. Attached to this post is a screenshot of Oranmiyan biography from Wikipedia.

Oranmiyan was the last son of Oduduwa and the first Oba of Benin Kingdom.

Stop spreading lies to suit your fantasies, my man.

GOOD TRADING IDEAS TO MAKE MONEY ON NSE

1. Stocks with new 52 week lows (as reported by Intendy & fxuser)
-Plot stock(s) on your chart
-If stock(s) indicate +ve divergence on RSI or MACD Histogram (Good Buying candidate)
-Wait until MACD Line crosses MACD-Signal to buy
-Apply money management that works for you

2. Stocks with new 52 week highs (as reported by Intendy & fxuser)
-Plot stock(s) on your chart
-Wait for price to pullback to a "value zone" (Good Buying candidate)
-Apply money management that works for you
-Value Zone varies: (20EMA/50EMA etc)

Truly, mehn, you've been trying. Big ups to you. When new people post questions about things they aren't sure of, you always try your best to reply with supple explanations. Whereas most other experts in the house just ignore the questions.

I remember the first day you posted, Sir loco and Ihedioramma were asking you to reveal your identity. Thinking you were the second coming of the Big Smart Guy. grin grin

Did you say food is cheap in 2001? You may want to review that. Food is scarcely cheap there. In fact, it is actually expensive. If you need cheap food, go to 'aganyin palace', in Jaja complex, opposite Jaja hall. With 150 naira, (beans 50, bread 100), you'd be filled to the brim and no matter what activities you partake in, the next hunger will not knock until 8pm.

And talking about new hall, i read that it is the hub of prostitution. Ah guy, fear God naw. That's a terrible lie. There are 3 big female hostels in new hall, hence, you find more of ladies than guys, hanging out around there at night. That's all.

Aganyin palace was closed down because of hygiene issues. They said something the woman about the woman using the water she uses to clean her buttocks to cook.

There was also some rumour going around that she used it for jazz too.

That is why I would prefer a public forum to hunt for young people ready to lead than a protest. I hope those who can lead start coming out.

You're not wrong. Even the ones we looked up to during election like Jag bros, Ayo urb, radical youthman etc have all sold out. Number one example is that Tolu Ogunlesi guy.

Before we ask Buhari to reshuffle his cabinet, we need a young bright man ready for the position, with laid down ideas that can transform the nation. He should have a blueprint, with a timetable. Ready. Then, we can cry out for getting government to put that person in power. We can contribute and put the person on air to share his ideas.

I need us active and not docile anymore.

Do you know anyone who is young, vibrant with such characteristics in our politicosphere?

We should stop all this Buhari talk. I did not follow a second expect Buhari to wave a magic wand to salvage our economy. I noticed the massive wastage during GEJ's reign and I knew it will take a lot of work to wipe this wastage away.

We are suffering the repercussions of this wastage. I wanted GEJ out because I knew the wastage will reduce. Evidence from our growing reserves. Something we could not achieve before.

For economic growth, which we desperately need, it will take more than Buhari or a protest to achieve it. It will take millions of hard working youths to come up with ideas and strive to achieve it.

It will take smart youths coming up with innovative and sustainable solutions to create industries. It will take us working hard to get these solutions to the tables of the government.

Without us working hard and getting these solutions first, what we are doing is making noise.

I do agree with you one this. Completely in fact. But the was the situation is now, the system isn't helpful to entrepreneurs. Banks borrow loans at exorbitant interest rates, the SMEs can't access forex for stuff they need while pilgrims get $$ at ₦197 for pilgrimage. How does this help a youth who wants to be an entrepreneur?

The system is against them. That's why whichever way we still have to blame the FG because they are the ones who'll dictate how the system helps this youth.

I have faith in this country, I really. But mehn, it's so hard to keep faith in something that's decaying.

Buhari should man up and be the man of integrity we thought him to be during the campaigns. He should reshuffle his cabinet and try one or two new things. it's never too late to turn this around.

I am not believing this government. I am not talking about being partisan. I am stating clearly that the present youths should stop following and start leading. Think of solutions and work to achieve it. This protest is offering no solution. If I was pro this administration, will I talk of us looking for solutions?

Yes, Bruh. I agree with you that this protest is offering no solution. It's one of the reason why I'm not even going to join them. But if this protest will let the people in power know that people aren't in support of the way there are ruling, I see no wrong in the protest.

I just hope this protest will make this administration sit up and at least make things better a little bit. I don't even want $1=₦1 anymore, ₦300 is fine by me. Even ₦400 sef.

He blamed bush before the election because that was all part of the campaign and bush was the sitting president then. As soon as he got in, he got to work.

Ok, lets agree that he blamed bush. He didn't still sit down idly putting USA into more recession, he brought them out of it and took the unemployment rate to one of the lowest levels ever in the history of America.

Our own Buhari is still blaming GEJ without doing nothing and increasing the suffering of people he is meant to be governing.

I guess you believe the fall in Crude Oil prices did not affect Egypt, Venezuela etc.

Very shocking you expected growth in a mono driven economy after Crude Oil prices dropped. Like seriously.

The wages and number of work force increased. Subsidy prices trippled under GEJ. Importation sky rocketed under GEJ and you want the economy to operate like how it was under OBJ?

Egypt isn't even a major oil exporting country and they aren't a member of OPEC. Venezuela is the only member of OPEC you mentioned and Venezuela economy has been tumbling since the death of Chávez in 2012.

What about Other members of OPEC like Saudi, Angola, Kuwait, Oman etc. Why aren't they experiencing what we are experiencing too? is it this bad for them?

And do you honesty believe this government --which said it would stop subsidy and repair our refineries-- isn't still paying subsidy? What do you think the landing cost they are paying oil marketers is for?

How an educated man like yourself can honestly absolve this administration of any wrong doing baffles me. Wake up, man!

Yes, we voted and campaigned for them but still lets hold them accountable. There is nothing wrong in doing that. GEJ is gone for good. Buhari should do something that will make us remember him for good when he is gone too. Let us not remember him the same way we still remember Jonathan.

That's all I have to say.

Some people in reaction to this are campaigning to form their own political parties, I have not written against them. Others just go and fix what they think is wrong, others seek to engage with the government directly, others may protest too.

However, you put yourself under scrutiny when you present yourself as certain things and unless 2Face just recently got struck by lightning or had a major electric shock scrambling his thinking pattern, he is part of the problem he says he is trying to solve.

Every single Nigerian is a part of this problem. Including you and me, I won't deny the fact that I'm part of this problem. But I'm tired of the way this country is going.

Just 4 years ago, we had the fastest growing economy in Africa. Now investors are running away from us!

And again, I'll ask you, what's so wrong in people using this movement to create a political party? Have you forgotten that the OccupyNaija and BBOG campaign gave room to APC. Or is APC scared of an opposition like they were to PDP? if this protest is going to berth in a good thing for all nigerians home and abroad, I'll support it.

Most of the people in APC were once under PDP, including the Senate President. They are part of the rot the nation is experiencing today.

If this administration wakes up and start doing things like they should, I'll start supporting them again. instead of blaming GEJ. GEJ IS GONE!! LET'S MOVE FORWARD.

When Obama came into power in 2008, USA was in recession, unemployment rate was in the double digits. He didn't blame the Bush administration, instead he got his to ground and started working. By the end of his first tenure he had reduced unemployment rate to 7% from 12%. THIS IS WHAT LEADERS DO!

Buhari should be a leader and not a ruler. I had so much faith in him, but every day that faith keeps dwindling.

While I've said all these, let it be know that even though that 2015 election holds today, i still wouldn't vote GEJ. Nigeria can do better than the current state it's in.

PLS TELL ME WHEN IT SUDDENLY BECAME A BAD THING TO DEMAND BETTER FROM THE GOVERNMENT YOU SUPPORTED AND VOTED IN? WHEN?

Maclatunji, I want to ask you one question: Since you're discrediting this protest because of Tuface's past, who would you recommend to lead it? Pope Francis?

Everybody had a dirty/shameful past, including you. Hell! Even Lauretta Enochie was protesting in 2012 and now she doesn't want people voice heard. The same Lauretta who has been accused of trafficking women for prostitution to the middle East.

This protest wasn't started out by Tuface. Tuface is just lending his voice to it because of his popularity. Even if Tuface has an ulterior motive with this protest, so what? is there anything bad in that? Was it not the OccupyNaija protest in 2012 that paved way for this supposed "better" government to come in?

Do you know how much gas is?

Do you know how many students schooling abroad on scholarships have had to take menial jobs because their parents can't afford to send them allowances anymore?

Do you know how unsecured this country has become?

I could go on and on

In June last year, my friend was meant to go to Canada for his masters degree. He had already been admitted but he couldn't go because of high dollar fees (when $$ was still ₦400). He put it on hold till November this year because he still believed this Buhari's government would have corrected things by then. Now his hope is dashed.

This is a protest against bad governance; Not APC or PDP, let's call a spade what it really is.

I know you know how bad the country has been but you're just trying to save face.

I have become a laughing stock amongst my friends because I supported this Administration during the last election but I can't keep quiet while things are going awry
