TV/MoviesRe: Ever Been Emotional While Watching A Movie? by rimax: 4:18pm On Oct 23, 2012
binger: Yeah! Human behaviour can be that weird.Letting a movie scene get the better of your emotions. I remember when i was watching the last season of 24, jack bauer and his team despite all their efforts to save President Hassan, failed to do so.You cant imagine how furious i was seeing Hassan's throat had been slit.I later realised i was dissipating energy over a movie.of course i laughed at my 'stupidity'. So,tell us how emotional u've gotten over a film. Even if you've cried as a guy while watching a film, abeg share...Hey! i forgot to mention this...i really cried the day i watched "Passion Of The Christ" and i am proud i did.infact, whoever did not cry after watching that movie tara isi mbe(ate a tortoise head)lol
i cry wen bokoharam kill innocent ppl

Christianity EtcRe: What's Your Favourite Verse(s)/chapter(s) In The Bible? by rimax: 11:51am On Sep 16, 2012
[quote author=Phiozy]Mine is Ecclesiastes 9:11(I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all) and Romans 12:1-2(consequently I entreat you by the compassions of God, brothers, to present YOUR bodies a sacrifice living, holy acceptable to God, a sacred service with YOUR power of reason. And quit being fashioned after this system of things, but be transformed by making YOUR mind over, that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God)... So... What's that verse/chapter of the bible that you so love?[/quote with God all things are possible.
Car TalkRe: Nissan To Open Assembly Plant In Nigeria by rimax: 1:00pm On Sep 14, 2012
mamikky: Nissan Motors has said it is poised to open an assembly plant in Nigeria as a result of its satisfaction of the quality of infrastructure and sales opportunity in the country.

Regis Tromeur, the Managing Director of Alliance Autos Nigeria Ltd, disclosed this during a visit to Lister Motors in Ibadan yesterday.

He said, “We are impressed with what we have seen here today in terms of infrastructure to carry out sales and after sale services.

“We are working hard to capture the commercial opportunities in auto market in the country. As we all know, automobile business is about selling and maintenance of cars. As we deliver quality products to our clients, we are also going to offer quality after sale services.

“Having a plant in Nigeria is part of the possibilities that we are looking at. In each of the 36 states, we want to differentiate ourselves by occupying the number one position.”

He also disclosed that there were plans to reopen Nissan auto dealership in Ibadan in conjunction with Lister motors.

Speaking on the developments, the Chairman of Lister Motors, Alhaji Arisekola-Alao said, ““We are going to ensure that Nissan attains its pride of place again in the Nigerian auto market. We decided to stop importation of cars and went into flour milling business about 30 years ago due to changing government policies and bad economy. But, we shall now focus on importation of Nissan vehicles.

“I must say that we are overdue for a Nissan assembly plant in Nigeria. We once proposed the setting up of a plant in Ilorin, but that plan did not materialise.”

PoliticsRe: Muslims In Jos Protest Film On Prophet Mohammed by rimax: 7:41am On Sep 14, 2012
Itohen: A group of Muslims in the troubled tin city of Jos, Plateau State, yesterday evening held a demonstration over an America-produced film that purportedly blasphemed Prophet Muhammad.

The protesters, who defied security agents, said they would rather die than to watch their Prophet insulted, and will submit only to the laws of Allah which, to them, are supreme to any other law.

The mostly youth and children protesters, who numbered almost 100 were led by one Malam Mansur Sani Adamu in the demonstration, which took place on Bauchi Road.  They carried placards condemning the United States, Israel, Denmark and Holland, accusing them of plotting against Islam and Muslims.  Before they dispersed, they chanted, “Allahuakubar, Allahuakubar, they have touched our Prophet....”

Malam Adamu said, “We are doing this to express our anger against enemies of Allah and Islam led by America and her allies like Israel, Denmark and Holland because they are plotting against Islam. These days they have also produced another depicting film; this is what is troubling us.

This denigration of Prophet Muhammad is very sad and we are against it. With this it is better that it is death that consumed us for our Prophet to be denigrated. All Muslims in the world should come out and protest and those who cannot should pray.”

According to our source, security agencies urged the protesters to disperse since they had not secured permission, to which leader of the demonstration responded, “If our Prophet is blasphemed we will not wait for any law, Islam supersede any laws of the country.”
