It was just one line!!

Kinda like when Jay dissed Joe Budden on 'Reminder' and said,

It was just one line in a whole verse relating to Joe Budden.

Or when Joe Budden replied on 'Microphone' dissing the three Blueprint albums,

It was just one bar, not mentioning the person being dissed.

Another example is when Jay went at 50 at summer jam with the "I'm a bout a dollar, wtf is 50cent. . ." line

Kinda like saying, "I see you, but I ain't got your time, so I'll give you one line"
Rappers do it all the time, no need to treat it like it should have been a proper diss track, or expect them to have 'come harder' just for the heck of it.

Personal opinion anyways.
