Whenever you decided to go contrary to their opinion, explain to them why you decided to take the alternative course casually.

here is the problem and challenges I have been facing on the job, I have almost six superior that are above me in terms of ranks, but I was made to supervise them. this superior don't send their report to me or seek my opinion on anything.

I know they are not happy with me. my regional manager on sensing that this may be a problem recommended that I should be promoted ahead of all my superior yet our management is not saying anything about the recommendation of my regional manager.

most of this superior lobbied for this position but I was picked because of my ability's to deliver on the job.

A colleague took me and a few other colleagues on a Christmas Eve outing in the popular Abakaliki Street in Awka. I was pressured by them to place an order, which I normally don't do. I'm not just a teetotaler but also an introvert.

First of all, HES 1-3 is less than 100k and you have to do it with ISPON otherwise, it will not be recognized.
You can opt to do a project and all that stuffs to become a certified member either as MISPON AISPON depending on how good your project is.

If you want to go further in the field, you can do NEBOSH for around 200-250k which greatly gives you an edge in the safety industry and then you can do an ISO course depending on the sector you have interest in be it food safety, industrial, offshore, etc.

As an administrative person managing a pool of cars, sometimes, you could be lucky to have good drivers who would take care of the company vehicles as tho it's their own personal vehicles.

At other times some drivers could be lackadaisical in their management of the companies pool vehicles leading to frequent faults and repairs.

in as much as the carrot and stick method would be a good suggestion, I believe the essence of getting paid salaries and other allowances is so that one could do his/her jobs in the first place which I believe includes basic maintenance of company properties put in your care (cars inclusive) hence I believe the proper thing would be for the company to reward exceptional behaviors.

Therefore, this poses the question of how the company punishes the lackadaisical and the I don't care attitudes of some of those drivers since the company doesn't want to relieve them of their jobs neither does it want to take out of their salary as punishment considering they don't earn much in the first place?

I was called last week Tuesday by an outsourcing company I did their test and interview in February.

They called me that their client(a bank)will conduct the final interview on or before Friday of last week for the role of universal teller...that it will be online that I should download Microsoft teams(it's like zoom and the rest of all this online video apps).


Now the issue is that it's almost two weeks the bank has not gotten back to me,and I called the agency back and I asked whether it was only me that has been calling to complain and they said yes.

Now the issue I'm having is why will they call me,tell me to prepare for the final stage of the interview,even asked me if a certain branch of the bank is not far from where I live and I've not been called for the final stage of the interview,and how am I sure they did not call others cause I'm the only one calling to complain according to about two different staff of the recruitment agency...

Ever since I entered the university and now in my 400L currently doing my 6 months I.T in preparation for my final year (500L) I haven't gone through my qualifications intently until this morning.

Here is a problem I discovered, I made my way to the university with a 2 sittings 2014 O'level certificates in WAEC and NECO because I made a D7 in English in WAEC which is a compulsory credit subject required for admission I had to use my NECO result where I made C5 in English to back it up for a 2 sittings result though I recall they ended up using only my NECO for the O'level certificate screening that time.

Now I am concerned if this might be a problem when I graduate and decide applying for a top job. My CGPA currently is quite impressive but right now I am afraid my O'level might not be good enough due to the D7 I made in English in WAEC.

Please I need good words of advice from the experienced ones amongst us here.

The National Association of Nigeria Students(NANS) has expressed the undeserved unhappiness of Nigerian Students as it joins the world to mark the 2020 International Student's Day. The National body of Students under the leadership of Comrade Chidi Ilogebe has challenged ASUU and FG to immediately respond to the undying requirements of Nigerian Students in several areas of critical concerns, as it commence mobilisation of students for a nationwide protest, scheduled for 24th November 2020. This was stated in a press release signed by the President of NANS, Comrade Chidi Ilogebe, GCNS, few hours ago.

In the statement, Comrade Chidi Ilogebe charged all Student structures across the nation, including SUG, JCC, Zonal leaderships, all affiliate/sister unions NAUS, NAPS, NANCES and ANFS to immediately commence mobilisation of Students ahead of the nationwide protest. According to the statement, the protest is aimed at challenging the federal government and ASUU on the devastating situations faced by Nigerian Students, with emphasis on welfarism and security.

The statement further noted that, the celebration of 2020 International Student's Day in Nigeria was a moment to reflect on the past and present, with considerable efforts to proffer possible solutions towards improving the educational system of the Country. He stated that the intended joyous mode had been interrupted by the same system that ought to put smiles on the faces of students before, during and after this historic day.

The statement therefore recalled the regretful abduction of students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, along Kaduna-Abuja Express way few days ago, as it calls on Federal Government to prioritize improvement in the welfare and security of Nigerians, especially around towns or cities where academic campuses are situated. Comrade Ilogebe had also in the press statement condemned and rejected the recent increase in the pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS) and electricity tariff, stressing that it was a deliberate act to provoke citizens.

The National Association of Nigeria Students further called on the immediate and irrevocable opening of university Campuses, as it presents a reminder to FG and ASUU on the 14days ultimatum, which will elapse on 23rd November 2020. NANS however seeked the steadfastness, commitment and support of relevant stakeholders, security agencies and members of the association ahead of the forthcoming NANS election, holding from 26th to 30th of November 2020. Comrade Chidi Ilogebe therefore concluded his statements on the 2020 International Student's Day by reiterating the commitment of NANS in the resolute emancipation of student's welfarism.
