Alhamdulillaahi for being a Muslim.

Allah has prepared the Muslims for this unbelievers. Allah says in Quran from 118 --

"O believers! Do not associate closely with others who would not miss a chance to harm you. Their only desire is to see you suffer. Their prejudice has become evident from what they say—and what their hearts hide is far worse. We have made Our revelations clear to you, if only you understood."

"Here you are! You love them but they do not love you, and you believe in all Scriptures. When they meet you they say, “We believe.” But when alone, they bite their fingertips in rage. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “˹May you˺ die of your rage!” Surely Allah knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart."

"When you ˹believers˺ are touched with good, they grieve; but when you are afflicted with evil, they rejoice. ˹Yet,˺ if you are patient and mindful ˹of Allah˺, their schemes will not harm you in the least. Surely Allah is Fully Aware of what they do."

Allah then talk about the sacrosanctiness of our Victory in Quran 3 verse 139

"Do not falter or grieve, for you will have the upper hand, if you are ˹true˺ believers."

The end shall actually justify the means

"Eye service" after Tinubu picked the ticket. He camped with Buhari's cabals. Unfortunately for them all, Buhari refused to dance to their music at the end of the day. Buhari said... they should all go for the primary, and he did not interfere. They almost succeeded in installing the old senate president as the sole candidate. In fact, they announced it, but they met real opposition. And they all had to fight the fight like real men.

Bello and ElRufai know that Tinubu is just playing them, too. Lol. How can Tinubu have ElRufai in his cabinet. Someone who came out publicly to tell APC that are not in Tinubu's camp to send him packing. Even his kids insulted Tinubu very well. But when all their eyes clear that Tinubu is the man on APC's platform, they started adjusting. Lol. Trust Jagaban, he accepted their help na...and did not say much. During screening, he used Ribadu to knock ElRufai. Tinubu is mad seriously. He even sent ElRufai's name as Power Minister to the Senate. Lol. But Ribadu finished the job behind the scenes and made sure ElRufai was screened out. Can you see the probe going on in Kaduna also? This is to weaken mallam's power to the minimum cos the battle line has been drawn. Las Las, mallam will retire permanently from active politics...and most likely, na Tinubu go retire am. All his kids will soon be irrelevant in that state again. Mark my words. Tinubu is a silent killer. This is how he silenced Bode George in Lagos. That man is so irrelevant today. He won't talk much, but his gorillas are working mercilessly behind the scenes. He does not forgive.

Bello is in it finally. That one is finished. He will frustrate his life with efcc that he will go to Abuja and prostrate for Tinubu begging for mercy. But see... nothing ooo. Tinubu doesn't forgive. This is why Osinbanjo and Ambode know that nothing for them again. Make dem just dey their dey. Osinbajo's political career is dead permanently, too. Ambode is going to struggle hard, and I see his ambition dead, too. Only Fashola will still be a bit relevant. They will want to use him again to monitor the media centre during another election cos he has been doing that sh.t excellently. 3 times, and he delivered well. But for Fashola to have a good political post again in Tinubu's cabinet....forget it. But maybe somehow, one day, he may still get something. But at least, he is not an abandoned ship like Ambode and Osinbajo.

That is it, my brother. Bello is finished. Elrufai will learn his lesson in a very bittered way. Mallam is gone politically. All his kids are gonna be irrelevant soon. We won't even know they exist again.

I know bello is close to those buhari cabals that didn’t like Tinubu. They even helped him win his reelection. El Rufai never liked Tinubu from the onset. I knew they can never work together. Aregbesola is irrelevant today because he moved against Tinubu and even worked against his Presidential ambition. It even got to a point that Aregbe Openly mocked Tinubu, when he said “Won ti to sara” meaning they are now peeing on themselves.
Tinubu is a political sage. He has a well oiled political machinery I must confess, even though I’m not his fan. But I respect his political sagacity.

Help. That's what I need, I really need help. At this point, I am completely fed up.
I graduated from school last year. While I was in school, my parents especially my father controlled my relationship with other people and made sure I had no friends in school to 'distract' me. Well, since they didn't stay in school with me, I made some good friends and well, just never spoke to anyone when I was home on holiday. Now I have finished school, I have nowhere to hide, I don't even talk to my friends from school again. I am lonely, really lonely. If someone as much as says hi to me, they become bad people. For my NYSC, my dad paid a really huge sum to make sure I served in Lagos, then he made sure I got posted to his workplace for my PPA. I didn't say anything, just let him have his way. I made three really good friends in camp, they were really good and easy going people but my dad decided that they were ritualists and only wanted to lure me out to cut my breasts and my private parts and use me for rituals or prostitution or even kidnap me. So I didn't talk to them again because I just wanted peace. Till now they still try to call and text me to check up on me. Now that I'm working in his office, I can't even talk to anybody, because apparently they are all bad people. We had an hangout planned and my dad made fun of me and refused to give me permission to go at my age of 21! I'm honestly fed up and I don't know what to do anymore. This is really affecting my mental health and my social life.

“ If the Niger Republic border is opened fully for traders to bring in their paddy, this would further crash the paddy price. The price has been dropping almost every week in the last one month now,” he said”.

talk of international trade and yet borders are closed. Before Buhari, Nigerians engaged in export of various products like clothes, shoes, confectioneries, etc to neighboring countries. In the name of promoting local industries, APC destroyed all. Now local industries suffer with high costs. They talked about smuggling of petroleum products. Have they succeeded in discouraging smuggling? Obviously not achieved. Since the likes of Benin republic rely on Nigeria for their Petrol, when prices are increased in Nigeria, they increase the costs in the countries too.

Borders are blocked, disallowing other countries across the borders from exporting to Nigeria. Good are very expensive in Nigeria and daily Nigerians are reduced to more poverty.

How can we talk of lower prices, when all these hurdles are placed by the leadership?

You are very right bro. Prof Akintoye is an old man. Will be 90 next year I think. Thus his impression on the struggle is understandable. That said, speaking for myself, I am not one to publicly call for the arrest of the Onitiri woman. Granted, it appears she's playing a game. Apart from all I said, there was a time one of her media aides did a sort of audio manipulation to create a notion that she had a discussion with Trump. Another thing I forgot to mention is that her own group modified the flag of Yoruba nation recently. There is something they call Ori Olokun in Yoruba, that's the head in our flag, I think they removed it and replaced it with stars or something. These are many reasons why a lot of Yorubas are not in a rush to endorse the woman and her secretariat takeover. Besides their attempt was futile. After taking over a secretariat, what next? What do we do with that?

Also if you recall, Sunday Igboho did his mom's burial about 2 months ago, and it appears what Onitiri did was not her original intention. It appears her initial intention was to make it all match with the arrival of Sunday Igboho to rope him. A lot of Yoruba nation media campaigners came out that time to raise the concern and pass on the intelligence to most media news outlet in nigeria. I didn't fully believe it then but I kind of believe it now because most of their description of the intel then matches what obtained recently in Ibadan.

Also realise that the government never goes after Onitiri. I don't even think they've declared her wanted at all. I know you're a diehard Biafran. You recall when Asari Dokubo and Uche Mefor declared one biafra government like that late in 2020 or so? Did you see the nigerian govt go after any of the 2? Or even demand an arrest? Now just for a second picture this: if it was Kanu or Igboho that declare such, on Nigerian soil. Kanu has not yet declared Biafra o, that nigerian govt went all the way to Kenya to kidnap him. Igboho was just in the middle of doing rallies here and there when the govt decided it had had enough and went to burst his residence. I think the govt can tell who's genuine, at least somewhat.

But one thing I would encourage is if you believe you're different from another agitation group and their style and gbege shele, just debunk it. You may just clear yourself or your group: that's it. But to now go an extra mile to start calling for the arrest to me is a no-no. It's like trying to prove your innocence too hard. It's just like if your mom comes home and asks "Austin, did you see any meat in the pot?" Your answer should ideally be "no". Simple and short. But when you start answering "Mommy, is not me. I think I saw oil on Chukwudi's lips and I saw his jaws moving..." bla bla bla. Just keep quiet. Nobody ask you. Only talk if you caught Chukwudi red-handed. Or talk if your mom asks "Did you see your younger brother Chukwudi eat any meat?" Then it's safer to expatiate on your answer.

One thing is sure: the treatment nigerian govt gives on the so-called violent agitators is still what they will mete out on the "peaceful" agitators at some point or the other. Maybe not with the same measure but when it comes to nigerian govt, no one is spared. So why help the govt point out who is troublesome? Let that be the govt's problem, not yours. The govt likes none of us.

We didn't have unity clause before Nigeria was created, but someone is looking for secession clause before dissolving Nigeria? Laughable

Good point. So how was Nigeria created? By the consensus of lawmakers right? So now that it is time to break up, it should also be by the consensus of lawmakers too right? So like I've always said, if your people are ready to leave, they should put sustained pressure on their lawmakers starting from the state house to the national assembly, as well as their governors. Force them to present the issue as a united front. Without this pressure from the bottom-up, nothing will happen. Nobody will break up Nigeria because gidgidy on Nairaland asked for it.

This is the entitlement mentality we talking about. Who told you women were created not to work? What does it then mean when God created women to help man.
And you also said if a woman should work , it should be channelled towards taking care of her self. Sorry you sound very selfish and have this olosho mentality.

Yinmu. Truth is bitter. This isn't me saying I wouldn't work or wouldn't support my spouse. I'm not a lazy person.

But truth will always be truth. Even God Himself made it known. But una no go gree. Na the most bitter truth for modern man be that. Una wan claim head and still wan do 50/50 responsibility with woman.

Una no know say once responsibility is been divided, the role of being an head will also be divided. For example, two of us be friends and we gather money by car, e don mean say you no fit do anything with the car without my consent na. Even if I contributed the smaller part of the money used in purchasing the car, I will still have a say to an extent.

In this life, we cannot eat our cake and have.

NB: I'm not encouraging women not to support their husbands. By the grace of God I will support my husband and that wouldn't in any way reduce his honor in my presence. However, him having the idea that it's my duty could be annoying. It's not wife's duty to do that but we understand the economy.

If a woman is insisting that the husband supports her with chores una go talk say na enslavement or feminism.

Spouses should be support to one another. At the same time, let's be conscious of our roles..

no 1 is the concentration of agriculture activities in niger state, all the loans cbn have been giving is rubbish, imagine alot of people getting loan and you cant say this is what they achieve, so i am happy, the governor even said i will feed Nigeria

no 2 is electricity. i dont like the minister but i think i love this concentration of energy to bank A, the aim is take band A serious give them 24hours light and move to band B and so on

no 3 which i really dont take as economy revolution is everyother things which includes subsidy, floating, policies

recommendations: i want market revolution like we have companies let us have market companies not all these 2 by 2 shops

textile revolution: let the government empower some people in aba or lagos, let us have textile companies

we cant jump all these and start wanting benz and big companies to come to Nigeria, let all do all these first

I usually laugh when some cheerleaders here console themselves with words like:

"Alhaji is Forbes list conscious"
or "Tony is working hard to enter Forbes list" or
"Ote will not allow the price to fall below so-so figure because he must remain on Forbes list" and i ask myself:

Are these people on Nairaland really investors? How are you all so emotionally whipped up even when hard facts and figures are staring you in the face?

Let me tell you a few hard truth nobody will tell you especially when investing in NGX and doing business in Nigeria:

1. Nobody care about Forbes list......It is strictly all about the Money.

2. Nobody cares about integrity,....Anybody that is able to get the slightest competitive advantage in business will use it to the fullest no matter how illegal or immoral it is. Think Alhaji, Wale, Tony, Rabiu, etc.

3. Nobody with a serious business to run watches the stock price of his company daily, including the big names on the NGX. Money follows management. If you play the game right, the money will follow and the stock price will respond.......

4. Be wary when cheerleaders encourage you to join the herd and follow the money,......They may be heading off a cliff like lemmings, or running into a crocodile-infested river like wildebeests. NS/DS as a typical scenario. grin grin grin Like a crocodile, I am patiently waiting to cherry-pick the wildebeests of NS/DS when they enter my price zone grin grin grin

5. Any buy order you are about to place with excitement is not worth it...Same as any stock that generates excitement. Nothing good comes out of drama and theatrics. Excitements closes your eyes and ears to solid opportunities laying in quiet places.

6. Whenever you find out that you have been played or setup for failure, cut your losses and run..I repeat, RUN!!!!!!!!!!........Don't sit and listen to emotional investors asking why a company will quickly release news about a merger suspension so fast and they should be investigated. Buy, hold and pray is a losers strategy grin grin grin grin You can always re-enter at a much lower price....

7. Lastly, The real money-makers here don't post often, they are busy people, they don't cheerlead stocks to get you excited..Whenever and if ever they recommend a stock, they back it up with hard-verifiable facts and even show you their holdings in that stock, so you know they are all in.

Unfortunately, they are the ones that get insulted and booed the most, while the emotional investors that hopes and prays for Forbes list get all the accolades because they sell you hope, just like Nigerian pastors. grin grin grin grin grin grin
