Religion / Re: Atheist Murderers(past/present) And The Murderous Tendencies Of Todays Atheists. by senbonzakurakageyoshi(m): 2:52am On Jun 28, 2016
Well, this was a difficult thread to go through. I mean, I've read through a lot of threads on the religion board but this had to be the one that I had the most difficulty reading through. Too many screenshots, too many lists, not enough points made. And I'm a Christian, so from the topic I can gather where the OP was going with this thread.

First off, this is what I'll say. Terrible people are terrible people. It's not a competition for the most terrible. There are terrible theists as there are terrible atheists. Same applies for stupidity, ignorance, intolerance and hate. It's not a function of religion or lack of. It's a function of mentality and personality. So this long tirade about who has done worse in history is getting us nowhere.

If an atheist commits a crime and feels justified about it, it's not a product of his lack of religion. It's a product of his lack of respect for stated law and a moral compass. I have a few atheist friends and they are strongly moral. They see something they feel within themselves is wrong and they admit it's wrong. Just as there are theists out there who commit crimes and justify their criminal behavior or tendencies with the same religion that's supposed to give them a moral compass. This is just silly. Bad people are bad people. Stupid people are stupid people. Ignorant people are ignorant people. Religion, race or/and political affiliation have no bearing on that. So this is all just so pointless. Ugh!

Could you guys just stop focusing on the number of wives he had. Jeez, he complain give una say the women dey give am wahala? Aren't there unmarried young men with kidney issues? You guys can sha focus on irrelevant things. And he had eight kids, the blogger wrote many because he/she didn't know how many exactly. I know people who have ten kids from just one wife so nothing out of the ordinary here.

It's interesting some people seem to pin all Nigerian crimes in diaspora on one tribe. I would like you guys to take a minute to visit the following links:

Those are links to stories about Nigerians committing crimes and engaging in illegal acts abroad. The interesting part of it? The names cut across the entire south of the country. So those posing like their tribes don't commit crimes outside Nigeria, know that you are well represented in the international criminal world and STFU. You think any of these countries would say "an Igbo man was arrested" or "a Yoruba lady was caught engaging in criminal acts" or "an Edo lady runs a prostitution ring"? Fat No! They will say NIGERIANS and some dumb mofos would come here to make it a tribal affair. Clap for yourselves. Your thought process rivals that of a two year old.
