South African based Nigerian rapper, songwriter and producer Blinx has unveiled the final playlist for his debut album a 7 track EP tagged P.S.S – “Pain, Suffering & Sacrifice”.
Born Obinna Okolie on 7th of January, 1991 in Coal City, Enugu State, Nigeria. Better known as by his stage alias ‘Blinx’ Obi is from Awgu, Enugu State.



He debuted on the music scene with his release of two singles titled “Six Figures” and “Suicide” in 2019. “My sound is ‘trap soul’ and my target audience are millennials, hiphop/rap enthusiasts and all good music lovers” says Blinx.

Financial group, Liam, Sachwell & Galahad better known as ‘LSG’ has concluded plans to distribute some Covid 19 palliatives to needy families. Starting August through September 2021, LSG team will select 40 families in need and distribute $50 gift cards weekly per family for for and/or grocery shopping including supplies of PPE (hand sanitizers, masks & gloves).

Matthew ‘M.R’ Reed To Tour With The Cast And Crew Of ‘I Remember’
As he prepares for the premiere of his new stage play “I Remember” and the release of the theme song album, Matthew ‘M.R’ Reed has revealed his plans to proceed on a promotional tour.



The Chicago born artist told us the tour tagged “I REMEMBER NATIONAL TOUR” will visit 10 states and 20 major cities in the US. The tour will kick off in his home state of Chicago, Illinois and will comprise live performances at select theaters and venues, radio/tv visits for interviews, autograph signing and photo sessions with the cast.



M.R said the tour is tentatively slated to begin on the 7th of September and run through the 19th of November 2021. He said that talks are currently ongoing with tour management companies and prospective sponsors to solidify arrangements. “Due to covid safety measures and protocols no dates have been confirmed yet” Matthew says.



He also said that the positive response of his fans to his premiere announcement last month on Facebook, when he previewed the theme music for the play live, motivated him to do a proper promotional tour after the premiere of the play in June.

M.R Reed said that planning a tour in these covid times is very challenging but him and his team are already working with the local health authorities to ensure safety protocols are put in place to protect all attendees.

ERIKA ‘PR Diva’ ENYOLU Announces African Fashion Week Toronto 2021 - AFRICAN FASHION WEEK TORONTO is a fashion, arts and music festival celebrating the African cultural heritage through FASHION, ARTS & MUSIC. The event is held annually with a view to promoting the African diaspora, fashion and culture.

The festival also showcases the best traditional & contemporary African fashion and clothing brands in and around Canada and other international destinations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the event wasn’t held in 2020 but is set to make a return in 2021.

The Managing Partner/Head of PR & Media Relations for African Fashion Week Toronto (AFWT), Erika ‘PR Diva’ Enyolu announced the return of the event in 2021. She says that the aim of the festival and showcase event is to promote African/Black owned fashion businesses and to create awareness for youth, emerging & established brands, that it doesn’t matter your tribe, colour or religion you can own a business and/or be successful at whatever you choose to pursue in life, be it a passion or career goal.

The PR Diva informed us that the festival is usually made up of 2 main programs; the entertainment and lifestyle program and the runway showcase program. While the entertainment/lifestyle program features performances by both headline and supporting artists, consisting of entertainers and upcoming musical acts, the runway showcase focuses on the different African fashion brands who are on hand with their models to show off their new designs and clothing collection.

Erika also said that even though a date hasn’t been set yet, the event is tentatively scheduled for August. She explained awards will be also given out at a later date to recognize the contributors of the African Fashion & Art industry.

She told us that in partnership with her brand SpiritAndSoul she has initiated arrangements to begin a series of fashion design and styling training sessions this October.

Maggy, who is the owner and founder of ‘SPIRITANDSOUL’, a contemporary women’s fashion brand based in Los Angeles, California says her plan includes holding instagram LIVE session 3 times a week, to help anyone who is passionate about fashion design or interested in styling to understand the basics and how to go about it.

She said that the pandemic and lockdown has changed the dynamics of how businesses operate and how things are done these days. Most businesses are making their operations compliant with the times and doing things online now, she reiterated.

“Since more people are at home now and more active online during this period I intend to harness and tap into that demographic by helping young people interested in pursuing a career in fashion design and styling acquire the skills that will enable them kick start their career. There is a rumor that the All Progressives Congress, APC is planning to pair ex President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and El Rufai for president in 2023.

It was learnt that there had been pressure on Jonathan, to defect to the All Progressives Congress and run for president in 2023 on the ruling party’s platform.
