I wonder what gave you the idea that your returning to Christ is doing us a big favour as if we stand to benefit by it or lose by your turning away from Christ. What ever gave you the notion that without you the Christians are incomplete?

Daniel in the Bible did not ever conceive the idea of sleeping in the den of lions to prove the greatness of God; he was cruelly thrown into it for his devotion to God and that was when God proved to the world that He is God, that He neither sleeps nor slumbers.

Shadrach, Meshac, and Abednego did not ask to be thrown into the furnace so as to prove to people that God saves. They were thrown into it against their will and God stepped into the flame to protect them.

Peter, when he saw Christ coming towards them walking on water, did not dare jump into the sea to walk towards Christ on water. He asked Christ that if He truly was the One that He should tell him to come towards Him. When Christ gave the command to come Peter was then able to walk on water but not before the command was given.

Many over zealous Christians have lost their lives through the misinterpretation of the Scriptures as regards these events. The miracles recorded in these events were never initiated by human will or power.

God protects and He still does but you don't have to intentionally jump into danger so as to make that point. He protects and saves when you face danger. Even then there are times He allows evil to befall His children because He has greater and better plans for them. All things are working for our good as children of God.

Who is to blame? The mother who imposed the woman on her son, the man who was suspected of infidelity, or the woman who ended two lives on mere assumption?

I am pretty sure the man was cursing his mother on his deathbed before he signed out of life.

Of noteworthy are the facts that the seat of the Intelligence is the mind while the seat of Wisdom is the heart. There is so much to say on this matter that my opinion is only an attempt to scratch the surface of what constitutes the difference between intelligence and wisdom.

Intelligence, generally, is acquired skills set, knowledge, and information. The intelligent person stands out in the exhibition of his or her knowledge or their capacity to handle a task given their skills and information at their disposal. They are adept at decision making revolving around their sphere of activity. However, it is easily deduced from this facts that intelligence is limited in its scope of operation because there are very many areas of life and skills where plain intelligence falls short of such as bringing up children, dealing with critics, maintaining a good reputation, keeping the home, selecting friends, choosing a spouse, driving a vehicle in a particular state of mind, deciding in issues between parties outside one's area of specialization, and many many more and especially the acknowledgement of the unknown. Facts and Figures are the eyes of Intelligence with which it judges reality but then appearance is deceptive. This is another flaw of intelligence. As a result, it is easily deceived, manipulated, distorted. This is one explanation why a great number of intelligent people are clueless.

Wisdom, on the other hand, is a form of perception that goes beyond the limited mental scope of operation to which intelligent folks are bound. Wisdom digs deeper and stretches further than the established mass of the obvious. An intelligent person reads the lines and gains information from what is read but a wise person reads the lines AND between the lines thereby gaining much more information than the intelligent folk could ever have. Wisdom delves beyond that to which peoples perception are generally accustomed so that it reaches a conclusion or sound judgment after weighing every seen and unseen factor on the balance.

Unlike Intelligence, Wisdom is not limited to an area of specialization, it encompasses every sphere of activity and aspect of life.

Intelligence is a block of bricks and Wisdom is the builder. The bricks without the builder are useless even though they have value in themselves. The Word of God did not call atheists fools because they lack intelligence; it calls them fools because they lack plain wisdom. Truly, it is only a fool who looks at a building and says there is no builder or asks for a scientific proof of a builder just because he has not seen or heard from the builder.

True, the church today lacks power as in the days of old because many Christians are heading in the opposite direction of where God has called them to walk but the truth is even if the dead were brought back to life today by the power of God they would still die some other time maybe in the distant future. Whenever they had a vision they would walk up to Mr Baker and ask him if such and such was in the Bible. Their revelation always tallied with the written Word of God. Baker, who knew the Word of God was not granted these manifestations, nevertheless, he glorified God for confirming His Word through uneducated kids.

Atheists keep deluding themselves by asking for scientific evidence as if scientific evidence is one glove that fits all. The evidence of the reality of the after life is copiously littered everywhere. Should it be strictly scientific? There are billions of planets scattered all over the galaxies. Science. However, atheists have not seen this planets and they don't ask for evidence because Science says it is a fact. They accept it without question. They cannot prove it because no one has gone to count these planets or taken pictures of them. On the contrary, they question the evidence of the after life as seen in peculiar circumstances beyond the realm of science. Things that re-occur through the ages to the present, manifestations that are evidence of a reality yet not regarded as evidence because it is not in their science textbooks....the glove of judging reality....and these folks are under the impression that they are wise.....fools.

Jesus never explained any mystery to the Pharisees and Saducees knowing who they were and their pattern of thinking. Rather, He confused them further by speaking to them in parables and figures of speech. Even though Christ did not offer them His pearl of wisdom we all know the Pharisees believed in the existence of God and they quoted from the Scriptures. How much more Atheists who don't believe in the existence of God, who grope in the dark and stumble lIke the Pharisees because having eyes they will not see and ears but they will not hear?

I could easily provide explanations from the Word of God in addition to the ones already given but I will never make that mistake seeing that this nairaland herd of swine feel super intelligent and on top of the world when rolling in the mud of their ignorance. GreenPlumes, my advice is seek help from a true man of God with the gifts of the Holy Spirit in manifestation then the truth about your situation will come to light.

However, I shall add this. The Bible lets us know that it is appointed for a man to die once then he faces judgement (Hebrews 9:27). That spirit you see is not your mother. It is a familiar spirit. The deception there is to make you embrace the lie that the dead can communicate with the living. This is witchcraft.

The Holy Spirit has been given to the believers to teach, guide, and help them. Christ did not say it is the job of dead loved ones. I hope you do read your Bible because if you do you will never be deceived by the enemy.

Do not be deceived because the Devil himself masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Be careful because he is even wiser than Daniel.

Like I said before, seek the help of a true believer in Christ operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I hope this helps.
