This is a pure fact , we should by all means try to put in our best.

As it stands, French is an added advantage to whatever points you have. So, It's very understable that you are working. But do well to follow up in your classes (online and physical) and also, do well to find personal time to practice.

Your orals

Yours written

Yours listening

And your reading

Some people tend to leave some parts and focus on some others

No!

There is supposed to be a balance.

You need an online French tutor , it's not joke

Put in the work as well as your French teacher is playing her part.

You could visit this instagram page for more details on TEF Canada

Mamaroon:

New update on TEF CANADA is , you'll habe to make payments in Euro, unless otherwise stated by any Alliance française close to you.

What I tell people is, there is no need to fear , especially when it comes to the professional exam, which will from now on be purely digital. Yes!
This isn't to scare you, as some people are used to typing and using their phones or systems for online classes due to Covid-19.

All I ask is that you be well prepared.

If you've never encountered French before. Know that you need to get to the B2 level before thinking of writing the exam.

While if you believe you have gotten to that level. You only need to be coached.

The amount currently , no thanks to Naira is 182k

No one should waste that.

I'll try to give more info here as often as I can

Check out this link for more details as well.

f you are asking about section A, the fait divers, see below. If you are talking about restating the question in the letter, I kept the phrase without paraphrasing it e.g. I stumbled on an article published in the 13th June 2020 edition of your magazine that asked: "is the internet harmful to children?"

https://www.nairaland.com/4672912/all-tef-candidates-canada-immigration/78#85784813

Par exemple, a titre d'exemple, prenons le cas de, en particulier, comme etc I don't have "killer" examples.

It's not quote strange that students wish to begin French classes and speak it fluently after 5...7 months

The teacher can only do so much.

It is left for the student to sort for materials. Find a speaking buddy (duolingo) or join a French conversation class. (This highly recommend)
Mamaroon:

Pls see these posts. Both were beginners, started from zero, there were physically classes then (which one attended), but most of the work was done alone....... at home. Extremely detailed.....materials used are contained therein.

You could also ask to see if AF have an online school, I think IEF do.

Try iTalki
Try Duolingo
Try http://www.coursera.org/learn/etudier-en-france

Enough resources have been shared on this thread, pick one of the A1 books and begin.

The journey of a 1000 miles starts with a step...Just start!

We all know the rising rate of people who wish to traval to Canada. And with the increase in candidates, the competition has been really tight.

Hence, those who are aware of this secret has started preparing.

As a Nigerian, French language is little or less practiced here. But in Canada, we have French as the official language, followed by English.

Hence, to increase your oppurtunity in migrating to Canada. You can boost your points by taking TEF ( Test d'évaluation en français). TEF is a French Evaluation Test.

It shows you have a proficiency in speaking French.

Don't say " But I don't know how to speak French"

French is easier than English.. No jokes

All you need is to put in the time and effort.

I have a book written to help you in the beginners stage.

I also have a telegram group where I teach French online.
