This is the moment a woman wheeled a corpse into a bank and allegedly tried to get him to 'sign off' a loan in her name while holding his head up in front of suspicious staff who asked why he looked so pale.

Bank employees started filming the pair and ended up calling for an ambulance and police as she used her hand to keep the deceased pensioner's head upright and told him: 'Uncle, are you listening? You have to sign it. I can't sign for you.'

Footage showed the woman telling the dead man to grip hold of his pen hard as she placed it between his fingers and encouraged him to sign a piece of paper at the bank branch in Bangu, a neighbourhood in the western area of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

A bank worker witnessing the scene told the woman: 'I don't think this is legal. He doesn't look well. He's very pale.'

She replied: 'He's like that' before she told the dead OAP: 'If you're not well, I can take you to hospital. Do you want to go back to hospital again?'

The video showed the dead man's head swaying back and forth before she grabbed hold of his neck with her left hand from behind.

She urged him: 'Sign here and stop giving me a headache' but was met by a logical silence from the man she was pretending to have a conversation with.

The surreal incident happened yesterday afternoon.

Paramedics called to the scene confirmed that the deceased pensioner, Paulo Roberto Braga, 68, had passed away a few hours earlier.

The woman who wheeled him into the bank, Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes, was arrested at the scene and told police she was his niece as well as his carer.

Officials have appeared to signal they are related and are said to be checking CCTV cameras inside and outside the bank to see if Mr Braga's family member was on her own or with alleged accomplices amid suspicion they could be dealing with an organised fraud.

The results of a post-mortem to establish cause of death have not yet been made public.

Police chief Fabio Luiz confirmed after the arrest Mr Braga was already dead when he was wheeled into the bank.

He added: 'The investigation is continuing to identify other family members and to find out if he was alive when the loan was arranged and when it dates from.'

Local reports said the loan was for 17,000 Brazilian Reais, the equivalent of around £2,500.

Two men were jailed in Ireland last July for attempting to use a dead man's body to deceive a post office and claim his pension.

Declan Haughney, 41, was sentenced to two years and 37-year-old Gareth Coakley was sentenced to 18 months in prison.

The incident occurred in Carlow town in January 2022.

CCTV footage of both men dragging the lifeless body of 66-year-old Peadar Doyle, who had a hat on, from his home to the post office was shown during their trial at the Circuit Criminal Court in Carlow.

Reports at the time described Haughney as a nephew of the dead man.

1. The Google translator calls the language Shona. Shona is spoken by the Bantu tribe in Zimbabwe.
2. The husband switched to English at a point and can be heard clearly saying: 'So, you have been f*cking my wife.' This clearly shows that the lady is his wife.
3. The lady has two hands clasped in front of her in the gesture of penitence and asking for forgiveness from the man. Would you beg your ex if he came back to find you with another man? No. You will be angry with him and call in the neighbours to come and help you.
4. The husband beats the woman with a mixing stick. Yet, she continues to beg. That's not an action of a divorced or abandoned lady who is entitled to move on with her life.
5. The lady code-mixes her language and English and can be heard saying 'Sorry' and 'It was a mistake' at intervals.

It would be interesting to know what she was sorry for, or what was a mistake in the circumstances her hubby found her.

The incident is believed to have taken place in Zimbabwe judging from the handle of the original poster. The video trended widely on X (formerly Twitter).

The lady has glowing skin, an expensive hairdo and a leg chain, suggesting that she is not poor.

Her footwear and clothes are scattered all over the road as she sits on the kerb wailing.

Many bystanders can be seen recording her while no effort is made to assist her.

At some point, she approaches a man who impatiently pushes her away and she lands on her bum. She continues to speak her dialect, as someone outside the camera frame taunts her.

The video has gained massive traction online and generated conversations around the increasing abuse of drugs among the younger generation, as many speculated that the lady’s antics must have been an adverse reaction to an illicit drug intake.

Some others suggested that she could be suffering from a mental health challenge that could have been triggered by disappointment or heartbreak.

A Nigerian teenager, Prince Walker-Ayeni has been st@bbed to death just days before his 18th birthday in what the police called a ‘targeted’ attack in the United Kingdom.

Prince Walker-Ayeni was stabbed on Raby Street, Moss Side around 4.15 pm on Thursday, April 4 and succumbed to his injuries despite emergency services rushing him to the hospital a short time later.

A murder investigation was launched by Greater Manchester Police, who are calling on community members who have any CCTV, mobile, doorbell footage or any other information to step forward with it.

Prince’s sister has said she was ‘heartbroken’ and ‘already missed’ him, as tributes have also been placed at the scene, with a banner reading ‘RIP Prince’ attached to a fence near Millennium Park.

In a statement issued on Thursday evening, GMP said no arrests had been made. A cordon remained in place on Raby Street and in the surrounding area on Friday as investigations continued and a forensic tent was set up.

Detective Superintendent Simon Moyles said: ‘This is a tragic and senseless loss of life and our thoughts remain with the victim’s family and friends at this time.

‘They will remain at the forefront of our minds as we move forward in our investigation to track down the person or persons responsible.

‘Whilst no arrests have been made at this time, I want to assure the local community that a visible police presence will be in place in the local area over the coming days for reassurance and to carry out enquiries as we work tirelessly to apprehend those responsible and bring them to justice.

‘We are continuing to appeal for any information or relevant footage – including mobile, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam. Any information you have will be treated with the strictest confidence and if you do have information to share, I urge you to do the right thing and report it to police.’

An Award-winning Ghanaian TV presenter, Serwaa Amihere, is embroiled in a scandal after a video of her intimate moment with a married businessman was uploaded on social media.

A set of pictures showing the GHOne TV presenter lying in bed with a man later identified as wealthy businessman, Henry Fitz, first hit cyberspace and quickly gained traction.

The images were first shared on social media by a Ghanaian IG blogger, who also claimed that he was in possession of the video of the bedroom scene.

The pictures were later followed up with a video of the two lovebirds lying intimately in bed and doing lovey-dovey things.

Serwaa is looking directly into the camera, and it also appears she is the one holding the camera.

She appears to be bare of any item of clothing, at least, in the upper part of her body that the camera captured.

Henry Fitz reportedly got married in 2019 to the girl of his dreams and, interestingly, Serwaa was a compere at the lavish reception held at the highbrow wedding venue, Royal Senchi.

@Thosecalledcelebs claimed that the two lovebirds recorded their passionate moments on their phone, and the clip was only on their two phones.

He speculated that Henry Fitz’s wife saw the video on her husband’s phone, and forwarded it to herself as evidence.

Someone reportedly later started blackmailing the TV girl with the photos and video. She was said to have been cooperating by parting with money until she became fed up and called their bluff.

Afterwards, the pictures and video hit the internet.

Serwaa Amihere has not reacted to the incident. She however put out a post where she stated that she would not allow bad circumstances to move her away from her goals.

She said as a stoic, she would endure hardship or pain without showing or complaining to the outside world.

Some people who claimed to be close to the TV girl, however, claimed that the video was old and taken during the time Serwaa Amihere and Henry were in a serious relationship some years ago.

The sources claimed the duo later broke up but remained on good terms before Henry met and married his wife.

Henry has not put out any official information.

How Home Office is frustrating Nigerians in the UK- laments Nigerian lady who lost a plum job

A Nigerian lady, who has been living in the United Kingdom since age seven, has expressed frustration over the poor treatment of legal immigrants in the country by the Home Office.

Queen Victory laments on her Tiktok page that she just lost a job she worked very hard to secure in the country.

She recounted that she went through four stages of screening and made a mind-blowing presentation to finally secure the appointment.

She was made an offer which she quickly accepted. However, when she was to submit her documents, the employers noticed that her leave to remain in the UK would expire in April of this year and voiced their concerns.

She explained to them that she had already applied for a renewal and that Section 3C of the immigration law allows her to enjoy all the benefits of her last document till a new one is issued.

Queen said her pleas fell on deaf ears because the employers said even though they were aware of the quoted section, there was no official document they could rely on in case the Home Office made trouble with them and therefore had no choice but to let her go.
That was how she lost the job under 24 hours of securing it.

She lamented that she had similarly lost many job opportunities and had had her education suspended at a point because of the same situation.

She said the Home Office would not allow you to apply for a renewal of visa sooner than 28 days before expiration and yet, does not process the documents in a timely fashion.

Queen said the earliest her past renewals had come was nine months after application, while it might sometimes take up to a year before it is ready.

In her case, she has to apply every two and a half years and pay application fees of roughly 5,000 pounds sterling (about N8.8m). She will be due to apply for permanent residency after doing that for 10 years.

While she waits for her renewal, she is unable to get a job worth her time and effort because employers do not want to risk running foul of Home Office rules.

She said thousands of Nigerians and other immigrants are caught in the web and are struggling to keep their heads above water, as they are not entitled to any social benefits as citizens and other legal residents. Yet they are not able to work.

He apologized to the duo for disturbing their romp and announced that the video would not be seen by anyone else other than the judge before walking out of the apartment.

A separate video shows another man, Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalizoda, having his ear severed and then thrown into his mouth before he spat it out.

A total of four men are currently in custody over the massacre that took place on Friday night as fun seekers gathered to watch a rock band.

All four appeared in court in the Russian capital tonight and were paraded showing cuts and bruises as the authorities attempted to deliver a message to the shocked nation.

Fresh footage of the bloodbath inside the Crocus City Hall venue in Krasnogorsk has also emerged, showing people running and cowering behind tables as the gunmen open fire in the main lobby of the building. People can be heard screaming as continuous bullets break through glass doors and mow down victims in what was the deadliest attack on Russia in years.

The four suspected terrorists, who have been photographed and named in the Russian media, were seen arriving in an unmarked white van before they entered the concert hall around 8 pm.

In another video, the same suspect has his head bandaged and his face is covered in blood.

It appears Russia wants to send a strong message that the terrorists made a huge mistake coming into the country to for an operation.

Newly-married footballer slumps, dies during training in Lagos

A young footballer, Daniel Peter, died on Wednesday during training with his Lagos-based club.

An eye witness disclosed that the towering central defender, who shot to the limelight with Pison Divine Royals FC of Surulere, suddenly slumped and gave up the ghost a few minutes into his club’s drills at Mile 2 High School.


The deceased, who recently got married to his long-term girlfriend, was said to have been in high spirits, vibrant and quite lively before the start of training on the fateful day, only for the excitement to get washed away when least expected.

Additional information about the incident revealed that Peter received immediate first aid attention when he fell after taking a goal kick, but all efforts to revive him were in vain.

His former team manager and mentor at Pison Divine Royals, Oscar Ezinwa Emmanuel, confirmed the tragedy.

“I was called late on Wednesday and I received the news with great shock,” said the man fondly called ‘TM.’

“They said he was training with a youth club in Amuwo Odofin area and fell without any contact from an opponent.

“I’m so sad, because he was once my player and he only recently got married. He was part of my team when we won Bishop Mike Okonkwo Cup in 2014.

“He was a very promising central defender, who was also very diligent on and off the field. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”

Economic Hardship: Kitchen tips to help you save on gas

To refill a 12.5kg gas cylinder costs anything between N15,000 and N20,000 depending on your area in Nigeria today. It used to be about N3,000.

More alarming is the fact that no one is sure when the hardship will cease. It may still get worse before it gets better, if it will ever be.

Consequently, you need to live smart to see the end of these trying times.

Microsecondnews Life Style has put together a few tips to help you in the kitchen.

1. Opt for pressure cooking. Invest in a pressure cooker so you can significantly cut the time you spend cooking beans and similar food.

2. Avoid boiling water to bathe. There is really no reason anyone, except infants and the elderly, would need hot water to bathe in this sweltering heat. It's just habit. Quit the habit of using hot water. Use cold water. It may appear difficult at first, but if you do it consistently over time, your body will get used to it. However, if you must use warm water, it does not need to reach boiling point before you turn the burner off. All you need is warm water. If you are still boiling bathing water to the point it can strip a chicken of its feathers only for you to mix it with copious cold water, you are being wasteful.

3. Never put your cooker or burners near windows. Drafts of wind from the windows disturb heat efficiency and make food take longer to cook. If you cannot take your burners away from the windows, look for something to shield the burner from the wind to achieve optimum heat efficiency at all times.

4. Don’t leave food on fire to dry. Sometimes you hear, “The rice is done. I’m just leaving it on the burner for the water to dry.” That is wasteful. Strain it instead. Get a sieve and turn the rice into it to drain.

5. Some people leave food on burners and turn down the heat so it can remain hot. This is wasteful in the context of today’s economy. Get a cooler, or food warmer, or wait for the eaters to be available before doing the cooking.

6. Stop unnecessary frying. Some people fry ‘ponmo’ (cowhide) to keep it tender when it is cooked in soup. You are wasting gas, oil and valuable time. Get a pressure cooker to cook your ponmo. It will be as tender as you want it in less time than it will take to fry it. And it is healthier.

7. Don’t allow members of your household to eat different meals at the same time. It’s wasteful. Agree on a compromise and cook it at once to save on gas.

8. Identify the reason you are putting the food on fire first. That determines for how long it will be on fire. If it is simply to make it hot for eating, it does not need to stay longer than a couple of minutes on the burner. However, if it is to kill off germs, that requires more heat exposure.

9. DO NOT BURN FOOD! This should actually be a criminal offence at this time. You are wasting expensive gas and wasting costly food. Don’t walk away when you put food on fire. Stay close to monitor its progress.

10. Use small burners with small pots and big burners with big pots

11. Always cover your pot so that the content can reach boiling point quickly.

This looks too drastic. Is there something this woman is not telling us? Why would a sane man throw his family out? Two innocent sons? And why is the woman not putting up with a family member, friend or neighbour while seeking a solution? Is this an emotional blackmail attempt? Wish the man would respond for us to know what's really happening.

‘My husband impregnated my househelp and kicked us out’, says woman found sleeping in the street with kids

A Nigerian woman found sleeping in the street with her two sons has alleged that she was kicked out by her husband after she fought him for impregnating her househelp.

The woman had some of her belongings covered with a tarpaulin while she used a bench and some planks to barricade herself and the kids from the sidewalk and the prying eyes of the public.

Her plight was brought to social media by a young Nigerian, King Mitchy, who went over to her to find out why she was sleeping in the open with her children.

The lady claimed she married the wrong man as her husband impregnated the lady who helped them to wash his clothes.

She claimed the man later sent her out with her kids apparently after she confronted him.

She claimed she was a graduate and has now been left stranded. Mitchy gave her some money to buy food for herself and her sons.

Her plight has generated interest with many people suggesting getting a room for her to lay her head with her kids.

The story get k_leg ,somebody hit u from behind while u stopped as others did before u,only for them to come down from their car and pounced u accusing for damages ,it's same u wondering if the car isn't insured.
Abeg whi understand the story proper ,it's like I don't really get her narrative at all.

What I think happened is that the lady was aggrieved that she was hit from the back and raked for the man and probably insulted him especially if the man was not remorseful, but was claiming right upon the damage he did. The man could not stomach a woman insulting him and pounced on her in anger.

When narrating, the lady would not say she insulted him. She would only talk about the wrong done to her. Let the man also talk the one she did and stop lying that he did not hit her.
