Good morning,

Please I applied to TU Berlin via uniassist and I sent my documents 4 weeks ago of which they confirmed receipt. My status is still showing Application incomplete. Is it normal or something is wrong. I haven't gotten any email from them since confirmation.

Thanks

Lets keep watching cos everything will turn out for our good

Nice post.
Bros is it possible to do PR for Germany and how do one go about it

You can always make research on this in any of the German state you want to reside. each of these state have a designated website that you can fetch info from.
Please it help to find it your self, cos there you will have more info. use Google to ask any question and you will get what you need

I checked Hamburg and i saw this small info below. you must have stayed at least 5 years b4 you can apply

Hamburg Welcome Portal
Permanent EC Residence
Similar to the settlement permit, the permanent EC residence title grants foreign nationals unlimited residence and the right to work in Germany. In addition, permanent EC residents enjoy freedom of mobility within and outside the European Union and may reside and work in most EU countries (except Great Britain, Ireland and Denmark).

Permanent EC residents can leave Germany and stay outside of the EU for up to 12 months (for EU Blue Card holders this is extended to 24 months) while retaining their status.
Permanent EC residents can move to other EU member states (except Great Britain, Ireland and Denmark) and stay there for up to 6 years. They do not need to apply for a visa and can apply for a residence permit there, as long as they can secure their own livelihood.
Permanent EC residence cannot be granted to foreign nationals whose purpose of residence in Germany is temporary (for example, education/studies, seasonal employment, au pair or international staff exchange). This also applies to applicants and holders of residence permits granted on humanitarian grounds.

Requirements:
You have held a residence permit for at least five years (previous periods of study and training will be credited in half)
You can finance your cost of living independently
You have held continuous adequate health insurance coverage
You have proof of adequate retirement provision: At least 60 months compulsory contributions to the statutory pension insurance or similar benefits
No criminal record
If you are employed, you have the necessary permit
Sufficient knowledge of German (B1)
Basic knowledge of the legal and social order in Germany
Sufficient living space for yourself and family members
You can apply for permanent EC residence at your relevant immigration authority or the Hamburg Welcome Center.
Download the file below and study. Mind you it for Hamburg, but there will similarity for other states

https://www.hamburg.com/contentblob/11701378/29f6b7ed0f593ad617ed9d376571f446/data/information-for-international-students-brochure.pdf

I hope it guide you

I didn't have strength to reply your "correction" of my post but I see u actually mean well, so am gonna tell u this
I don't have any problem with anyone here but I hate anything selfishness in this kind of our situation.
I don't want to speak much English, so try and reason with me. grin
That guy post is correct but I said stale because I assume many of us here already know of Stem etc etc, the heart of the information we wanted to get, he intentionally withheld
After his post, I watched his activity before commenting, so that d tantrums won't be unnecessary :Dand I confirmed my presumption of him, you see that question everyone is asking, he knows it will arouse interest but won't give details, that I abhor in this our situation here
He proved me right by asking questions on a matter that came after his post, whereas Fabcol had quoted him before that, I still noticed he was coming online and available here even 2 hours after
That attitude is not a good one, don't keep people hanging or in suspense, nothing much in chipping "my guy studying so so said to me", that settles it and the info would have been a complete one with examples
People do more than that here and we all benefit from it,
This analogy just came to my mind, Dukeokafor (had to cram his name etc) broadcasted the info about the option of paying for Uni-assist with Nigeria ATM cards, He knew Just smh many will still be aloof on the process, he did a pictorial guidance of the process on page 257 or so, I hold him in high esteem for that, that's giving complete information
Not telling me there is job in Berlin, there's Job and I come to Berlin, u can't even afford to give me heads up on the process, knowing fully well I don't understand her process as am a newbie
So friend, I appreciate your correction and your quality Infos, u see how u dished out those stem degrees there na, ụ have armed someone here on kind of courses to go for and not telling them, some programs are not marketable and u are asked examples that you have gotten from ur friend, u hide that one.
If we want to do good, let's do it fully with our hearts to get the complete reward.
U see my comment to him, sorry I still stand on it except...

Just a little talk, now see how big I have typed, NL sef

Its ok and lets all forge ahead
Best wishes to us all

Just my small advice. If you are planning to remain in DE after graduating, before leaving Nigeria for any course of study especially for those going for masters, make your research and ask a lot of questions aboutthe market value of that course as regards getting a job in DE. I just got off the phone with a friend who is lamenting badly that he was not informed before he left, he would not have taken that course. No hope of job, just struggling. Guys that met him in DE, some got jobs even before graduating while still doing their thesis.

Thats exactly the truth and thank you brother. Please lets learn to make good research as it will help us. I have a friend in Belgium that had finished two masters, one in medical statistics and the other relating to Data.... Uptill date he is still depending on menial jobs to sustain.
After a careful interaction with me, he was able to tell me that
When there are vacancies, the first to consider are the core natives of the location of the company e.g state, region. The next will be any student with distinction. the next will be other citizens of the country. After that other EU member country, after that some special country they may have bilateral agreement with, before other foreigners. The question will now be how many opportunity are availbale?

He also said there are specicific professions that most of their citizens dont venture into and these are areas where one can easily get job because its less competative. Thats why some countries lack skilled workers in some areas e.g Canada, Australia etc and are looking for foreigners to compliment

Do you know that some states in Germany(Germany) have shortage of some skills workers Infact this is one of the reasons the window is open with tuition free studies in order to breach the gap

Ur small advise is very useless, u give scanty info for people to start pleading with you to share the name of course, so that u feel big
If u can't give full info, share the stale advise with your friends, don't come and add to people tension.
U were active after 2 hours of your post and have seen all the concerns ur post have raised.
Rubbish!!!

The attack is very very wrong cos his advice is very helpful. Do you really know his schedule for not have reply so quickly? I think courtesy matters and not just the blunt attack.
What he said is absolutely correct. If you can deduce from most conversations and questions on this trend, you will discover that about 30-40% do not have a clear vision or purpose for studying in DE( their career prospect). They are more of the quest for seeking a greener pasture and with the mindset of going to Europe to study in a programme close to their previous studies and make it
The point that young man made should be one of the basic comtempletion of every one. 98% of those applying will never plan of coming back upon graduation. If thats true dont you think his advice is good? Am not saying him not sheilding more light on it is good. But there are better approach/patience than the attack.

We are all one family with the goal of achieving our target soon. Please lets control our emotions and show that brotherly love to each other. wheather in annoying question, comments etc
God's love will continually keep us all together

This is just my personal opinion . Concerning the recent development  on appliction for study visa to  Germany there are some points i want to make.

Lets do more research and and try to divert our attention from germany. Austria is not too different from Germany the only issue you pay tuition free that come as low 1500 euros and you get to stay after your studies just like Germany.  Lets learn from the indians.

If you remember when sweden and  finnland was tuition free for Nigeria you will recall that something similar happened.

If you can come up with almost 9 thousand euros then you can school in other places in Europe,  just do your research.  Croatia,  Lithuania,  Austria.  Check them out and try to go that route.

Am not saying  you shouldn't  try Germany, am just saying you should broading your horizon.

I wish you the best of lucky in your applications to Germany.  AM land on you all.

Just stumble in this below. NO WHERE DEY EASY OOH

If you are interested in studying in Austria at B. SC. M.sc , PhD levels... go online look for universities offering your course in Austria get your International passport ready, educational documents ready, book appointment online for legalization at Austria embassy no u can get the closest available date in 2 months time, get Ur court declaration of age #500 when you do it yourself at a high court, ur parents or guardian should sign no fake signatures. ur birth certificate from Npc(National population commission) 3,000-5000naira as the case may be... your police character certificate 6,0000naira in Alagbo Lagos... Or 15,000 upwards else where

Step 1: take your educational documents to federal ministry of education Abuja and authenticate it,(authentication is a process of educational documents verification upon verification the documents will be seal it will cost you 300naira per document excluding expenses for 800naira waec scratch card, remita printout, internet checking of result in ministry of education authentication via a express or proxy can cost u 500naira per documents ) and get eligibility letter(leta showing u are eligible to study 5000naira when u do it yourself it takes one week..through express or proxy it takes less number of days for 20,000naira at this stage u have to be careful so u don't get fake one which is a turnoff at d embassy) from the federal ministry of education address to the Austria embassy no. 9 Usman street Maitama Abuja
Step 2: u take ur educational documents with ur court declaration of age, not, police character with one photocopies each to ministry of foreign affairs at federal secretariat tafa balewa house abuja for another authentication u will pay 1500naira via express per page u will get it done in an hours time
Step 3: head to the embassy on the date of ur appointment with all ur processed documents from education and foreign affairs... Pay 120,000 for the embassy lawyer verification fee.u will be given a receipt.. Submit your documents and fill ur questionnaire and submit ur passports... The lawyer will visit all ur school attended go to educational and foreign verify everything and will call u ,will visit ur parents anywhere they stay in Nigeria and discuss with them about your intention to travel... The lawyer verification process is 6weeks as the case may be. After the lawyer is done the embassy will contact u to come forward for legalization of documents that ur document is authentic u will pay €30 per educational documents ...then the embassy will seal your documents with their stamp...extra copies will be seal upon request
Step 4: forward your documents to the school u intend to apply... In 6weeks period after application deadline u will receive admission 100% because their embassy has OK ur documents. Ur admission Leta is valid for 2years even if u Dont leave immediately
Step 5. Visa application : €60, air ticket reservation, admission Leta, bank statement, renewEd police character, medical insurance from unitrust 29,000naira travel insurance from Aiico 13,000 accomodation proof U can pay €250,300,400 for accommodation monthly basis, if u share accommodation u will pay less I will sort that one for u.
Step. 6 when u get to Austria after enrollment, if ur course that u applied for is taught in German u have to learn German for one year A1,A,2 German for 120euro per semester after which u start ur program proper... Then b1 b2 German u will continue with wen u start ur program
50euro monthly upkeep job 8euro perhour u will work 20hrs monthly.

Great Gurus in the house I want to use to podium to ask if I can still make it to dutch-land this year. I applied for winter admission(Cottbus, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin) and Uni assist have processed my application although is still showing incomplete application because my certified documents are yet to get to them( Fedex) company and delay are like mad...and my transcript never enter Lagos from East..i'm just confused guys..can I deffer my admission when it comes out(just been optimistic)...Fedex are killing me oooo and I went to their office and I was asked to provide airfare code for them to be able to track my transcript which I was told has been sent since last week..

Whats the duration for students visa?
Can I deffer my admission?
How long does creating and funding block account takes?

Good evening, you just have to calm down and do one thing at a time. Your application with uni-assist is not complete and as such you cant talk of admission to differ and BA.
When is the deadline for your course in TU Berlin? cos most of the courses deadline is 31st May.
Try and make effort in tracking the certified document with FEDEX while you wait for your transcript
Make sure when you get your transcript, you send it fast and be carefull this time
I stongly believe you still have time. Am sending a document to uni-assist on monday for TU Berlin.
Finally after your successful application, you have time to book for interview and still catch up with your dreams. Dont panic

God is in control

Non Nigerian bank. You can use Deutche Bank if you want to and already have an admission letter. You can make enquires from their lagos office. +23412772500 Also google to know their office location.
From analysis here, it was said that the procedure for this bank is very stressful. Why not use the other medium that had gotten testimonies

Its a very good grade that can fetch you admission based on the German grading system

For any other persons that may need to check theirs, you can use this site https://msingermany.co.in/german-grade-calculator/

put your CGPA at top, Nmax = 5 and Nmin = 1. in Nigeria Five point system

Yes Sir, in as much as the university admission pass through uni-assisst, you have to send the certified copies of your documents to uni-assist before the application deadline.
Also check with the university if you have to send another set of those document to them too(doubt). Except during enrolment
Study their application procedures well and mail them where need be too.
I hope this this help...
