Politics / Re: Why What Is Good For Ijaws Should Also Be Good For Others. By IBANGA ISINE by Tonyewarri: 2:21am On Jul 03, 2021 |
Nice writeup, but If we are being honest here NDDC was not under Ministry of Niger Delta affairs until 2019. So trying to use the Orubebe's administration to draw some sort of conclusion doesn't really add up. |

HacheNoire:First, My kind? You can't make a point without trying to add slur? Do you know me? What do you mean by "your kind"? Secondly, because it is best to build it in the north does not mean it is not viable to build it down south. Yes I'm aware about all you were trying to say, the reason for me asking is to get your understanding about the viability of the project. Is it possible in the south, yes. Is it sustainable, yes. Considering the weather condition in the south, is it a viable project? The answer is still yes. If you understand feasibility study you would know that it is a feasible project both north and south. The 6 states are SOUTH SOUTH states, those other 3 states you mentioned are not South south, ondo is south west, Abia & imo south east. Niger delta comprises of 1 south west 2 south east and 6 south south states. From what you are saying, what they did was that they gave SOUTH SOUTH more slots. If they had given NIGER DELTA more slots, abia, imo and ondo would have benefited. Sanprecious: 5 Likes |

Taba21:Yes, Ijaws are indigenous in those states i mentioned. Each and everyone. Bayelsa is well known as an ijaw state because it is the ONLY state with predominantly Ijaws. There are some urhobos in Bayelsa. I'm ijaw and I'm not even from Bayelsa. It irks me when people that have little or no knowledge falsely try to paint a picture of something they don't know about. |
Politics / Re: Re: Sack Akpabio Now - A Jaundiced Demand By The Ijaw Youth Council by Tonyewarri: 7:45pm On Oct 31, 2019 |
Taba21:At the very least, your assertion "Ijaw people are uncivilized....." is clouded by tribalism, misinformation, miseducation and lack of exposure. If I may ask, how well do you know the Ijaws? How well do you know south south Nigeria? And how much do you know Niger delta region? Are you aware that the Ijaws have presence in Rivers, Akwa-ibom, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa and cross river? Do you know the Ijaws are the 4th largest tribe in Nigeria after Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo? What exactly do you know about we the Ijaws that made you come to the conclusion that we are uncivilised? |
