thebosstrevor1: Even if it is 15 percent shares he owns....No one investor in iroko tv has above 15 percent share...What l am telling you is startup founders usually own controlling shares in their company...that is how they remain CEOs....as a matter of fact some will not give above 49 percent in total to investors |

ethicallyright: you are just saying nonsense and exposing how much little you know....founders usually maintain the highest shares among investors in their startups... that is how they remain CEOs.....one company's 5 percent equity shares can be worth millions of dollars depending on the company's valuation... so just because you hear they gave a startup huge amount of money does not mean they are getting a huge chuck of the company....moreover investors in tech are people with good knowledge of what is going on in it....it is not a random investment that promises you double your income like the MBA or whatever you just mentioned |

Politics / Kankara: We Were Told To Say Boko Haram Kidnapped Us – Student by VillagePeople11: 5:04pm On Dec 21, 2020 |
One of the hundreds of schoolboys kidnapped from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State has said that their abductors were not members of Boko Haram. The schoolboy disclosed this in a viral video, adding that they were told to say that the kidnappers were Boko Haram insurgents. Asked if their abductors were bandits or Boko Haram, the students said, “I do not know who they are but I was told to say they’re Boko Haram from the gang of Abu Shekau.” Asked about his experience, he added, “From what I experienced sincerely they are not Boko Haram." One of the hundreds of schoolboys kidnapped from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State has said that their abductors were not members of Boko Haram. The schoolboy disclosed this in a viral video, adding that they were told to say that the kidnappers were Boko Haram insurgents. Asked if their abductors were bandits or Boko Haram, the students said, “I do not know who they are but I was told to say they’re Boko Haram from the gang of Abu Shekau.” Asked about his experience, he added, “From what I experienced sincerely they are not Boko Haram.” Over 600 students were abducted from the school by suspected bandits over a week ago. While many of them escaped from their captors, 344 were ferried into the forest by the kidnappers. However, the 344 students were released to the government of Katsina State on Friday after spending exactly a week in captivity. Recall that immediately after the release of the students, Bello Matawalle, the Governor of Zamfara, revealed that Fulani apex socio-cultural organisation, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, negotiated the release of their release. Matawalle said the state was able to secure their release through the help of MACBAN and repentant bandits. This was despite claims by the Boko Haram insurgents that they kidnapped the boys. Matawalle had insisted that there was “nothing like Boko Haram in the abduction, claiming the bandits did it.” Video link https://www.instagram.com/p/CJD9BjYJJUH/ https://dailypost.ng/2020/12/21/kankara-we-were-told-to-say-boko-haram-kidnapped-us-student/

Programming / Re: Why Is PHP Not Considered As A Best Backend For Web Development Again by VillagePeople11: 7:41am On Dec 01, 2020 |
AntiWailer: You ask question, them answer you, you still dey talk off point....learn what you want to learn and let others learn what they want..arguing over a language is a very stupid thing as they are all tools to meet goals. The users don't know what php is and don't care. Does it get the job done, yes or no should influence your decision and not if it is the next cool thing....slack uses php for most of its server operations and have raised billions in funding. jiji uses php and recently raised 21 million dollars in a funding in its latest funding round...if you have a shitty idea and shitty implementation, just simply because you are using node or python or whatever you are advising people to use, you are still going to end up with shitty results... 3 Likes |

Image123:You people are just as confused as your answers....your analogy too....this should make sense to us....laws of different countries makes sense to them because there are directly involved in the reward or consequences....when laws are unfavorable, they protest...Hell fire should make sense to all humans because it will be the fate of many as it is said if they sin..... Now lets take it down a bit....if I enta your house and steal meat from your pot and you come in and stab me to death...What do you think the Government will do to you and why? |

shadeyinka: The more you try to explain Hell in complication makes me realize that you all know it is all bullsh!t....this is very simple..... A group of sinners with different level of sin live and die at various ages.... There all get thrown into an eternal fire...does that make sense to you....For once answer it with a plain mind of someone that has never been thought anything about hellfire |

Dtruthspeaker: I can't make any sense out of your reply...you sound like confusion.... Is hellfire a proportionate punishment for varying level of sin committed by different people? That is the question.... What is it with killing somebody that looks at your wife.... Laws of different lands have different level of punishment for different crimes ranging from community service to death sentence. What hellfire does is throw all of them into a burning fire for eternity.... My question is does that make any sense to you? 1 Like |

Dtruthspeaker: A gruesome death maybe...but figure this same person burning for 10 million years together with petty theives, drunkards, gigolos, stubborn children etc for the same amount of time.... Don't pick any extreme case to justify a general punishment that does not regard the severity of the crime/Sin committed 1 Like |

Religion / Does The Hellfire Punishment Make Sense? by VillagePeople11: 10:08am On Nov 15, 2020 |
There are different punishment for crimes committed, for instance fine, probation, 6months, 1 year, 10 years in jail etc. Humans with their treacherous heart understands this and frown at any punishment that is too much for the crime committed i.e you shouldn't behead a person as punishment for slapping another person(assault). You don't kill your wife or child for disrespecting you. Now take a second look at the hellfire punishment, the human lifespan is 80 years, and you have people dying at 15, 30, 50 45 etc. Let take a collection of 20 of these humans and call them sinners meant for hellfire. Now you throw them into fire, i mean burning flames, and you do not even show them the mercy of dying, you continuously burn them for 1 hour, 10 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 1 year, 10years, the number of years equivalent to how long they lived, still burning, 100 years still burning, 200 years, 500 years, 2 million years, 10 million year.... Let me stop there. Regardless of everything you have been thought, does the punishment of hellfire make any sense? cc: lalastilala 4 Likes |

wow ..this is great... we better pass this government hundred times...ills in the society is as a result of their demonic leadership... I don't know why few people we put millions into penury... we have more power than them, we plenty pass them, let's take back the country from them. Let's pull funds together.... come 2023 we don't need anybody that has ever been a politician before... lets push in new blood, new ideas, new parties based on preselected criterias... look at fintech in Nigeria, we have so much innovative minds... I don't know why we are constantly pushing in old blood sucking vampires in as leaders. And i am 100 percent sure that the international community is going to donate more money than we know how to count 594 Likes 47 Shares |
